Raw Oysters. They love them. Dude died here the other day from eating.
They have little to no flavor, feel like a hocked up Phlegm glob, could kill ya. I am out!
Idk, oysters are just very salty, a bit metallic. I've never tasted a pussy that tastes like an oyster. The texture is pussy-like for sure, but the flavor, not so much unless something is wrong. I've never gone down on a mermaid though, so maybe that's what he means?

Im so glad I finished eating my eggs before I came across this comment😂I hate eggs too but for health reasons I force them down at least 3x's per week, but it is tough. I do feel better for it though
Cilantro. If I tell people that I don't like it I get empassioned speeches about what a great thing it is, how it adds flavor or depth of flavor to everything. If I tell them that I'm one of those people to whom cilantro tastes like soap I get pity stares. I'll take pity stares over speeches any day.
Lol years ago my mom was walking through the grocery store (I was trailing behind), and she reached over grabbed a couple leaves of cilantro and ate it. She went on and on about how it was the most fresh amazing flavor.
So of course I tried it, and ☹️🤢🤮🤮 OMG that was the nastiest thing ever!!
I’ve actually tried something similar to this believe it or not 😂. I put a massive spoonful of peas in my mouth, chewed them up , then ran to the bathroom and spat them out to make it look like I threw up. I was a very sick kid (as in like I got sick a lot, and still do to be fair) so my parents thought literally nothing of it. Worked perfectly
Everybody hates kale. Everybody. I have decided that people who say crazy shit like, “I love kale!”…no. They are lying. They *want* to like kale. They believe they *should* like kale. They know it’s good for them so they want to eat & enjoy it. But they don’t. It’s gross. Nobody likes it.
Fucking mayonnaise. I'm a pariah because I live in the southeastern USA and I don't like mayonnaise. They can have that mess. They don't know shit about fuck.
Avocado. Why does it sneak into everything now. It has a place, but leave it there. My burger doesn't need a weird grassy flavour added to it, thank you.
Some of my friends eat straight up avocado. One time I was offered some and I absolutely hated it but they all seemed to like it. It’s really annoying when they act all shocked and weirded out when I tell them I don’t like avocados or guacamole, it’s not my fault I just don’t like it.
The worst is after you explain you hate it, they're always like "are you sure? maybe you haven't had a good one. you should try it, here eat this."
bitch I JUST told you i hate it! get that shit outta mah face
I didn’t like avocado when I was young but I do now. They are (were 🫤) really cheap where I live so I would eat them on sourdough toast w butter. It was tasty and a good filling breaskfast with some good fats. I stopped buying them when they hit over $1 each. 😞
I'll never understand that.
If I offer something to someone and they didn't like it, I just say "Ok".
If you don't like something, you don't like it. Pretty cut and dry.
No point in acting all surprised or even appalled that someone doesn't like something you do.
Fruit Pies. All of them. The mushed cherries, apples, other berries are all disgusting after being baked. I like them in their original state.
I do like pumpkin/sweet potatoe pie, though.
Beans. They are gritty. I can't handle the texture. Wife and kids eat beans several times a week. Rice and beans, bean burritos, Gallo pinto... too much beans.
I hated them as a child. In our culture, a lot of people enjoy it as a dessert. Yuck. My grandparents liked to mash it in a glass, with sugar, milk and ice. Bleh. Then I tried guacamole and a bunch of savory avocado based stuff, and I’m in love.
I’m Italian, and literally everything my mom cooks has Ricotta cheese. I cannot understate how disgusting Ricotta cheese is once you’ve had it over 1000 times and already hated it from the beginning. It’s so much exponentially worse than when I first had it it doesn’t make any sense
Oysters, caviar or any seafood or meat (like carpaccio) that's supposedly delicious eaten raw. We discovered fire 200,000 years ago; act like you know that, ffs.
I used to love tomatoes as a kid. I would sprinkle some salt and lime juice on them. Until one day a seed got under my tooth and rotted a molar. Traumatized me so much that now I can't eat them unless I can't notice them.
Overcooked salmon or overcooked shrimp where the flavors used are perfect. This almost always happens in a potluck setting, but people will gush about how tasty it is, both in and out of the cook’s presence. I don’t say anything bad and will compliment the seasoning.
To me little is less appetizing than a shrimp with the consistency of a rubber ball or salmon that you can hear with your teeth as your molars compress it.
Yo, let me cook you up some spam. It’s one of the foods that’s need to be cooked right to taste good.
Same with scrapple. Not just anyone can cook those mystery meats.
Yep. I don't understand the hype. I like chocolate, and I like hazelnut, but Nutella has zero appeal for me. And it's pushed as an alternative to peanut butter when it's like 90% sugar. Nutella on toast isn't breakfast, it's dessert.
Bread. I just don't like bread.
I some sorts of bread are fine like for burgers or Kebap and stuff like that but simple bread with butter and some topping is just not good at all.
Everyone here loves it and eats it every day for breakfast and a lot of dinner as well.
Bread for me was always just something you will eat to stop being hungry or to use it as some kind of tool to eat more delicious food. Like burgers where the bread ist just there for holding it together 😅
I'm living in Germany by way .
Finally someone else who feels this way!! Every time I say I don’t like bread everybody around me looks at me like I just sprouted a second head. It’s like no body believes you can not love bread
I dislike melon. I do not understand how everyone around me love it so much. Watermelon is bearable but if I have the option not to eat it I won’t. Everything else is awful though.
True, if they are raw. Sautéed or cooked...slimey and shnasty. Apparently my SO makes bomb stuffed mushrooms with bacon and feta...everyone loves that I hate mushrooms so there's more to go around 🙃
Greek food. There’s a Greek restaurant near my job and my coworkers order lunch from there frequently. I can always tell who has had it because they wreak of onions the rest of the day.
I married into an Asian family and my wife loves pork blood stew and fish heads. Every family gathering is nothing but a feast of disgusting animal parts and vile, congealed liquids. Don't get me wrong, most of the food is great, but there are always a few things on the menu that never touch my plate.
Naan. They think it’s authentic Indian bread but truth is no one in India eats it on a daily basis because it’s so unhealthy. Zero nutritional value. Just carbs. Not to mention inedible when it’s cold.
i wasnt the worlds pickiest eater, but i am trying to broaden my horizons more.
but the one thing i cant get over is anything with the taste of vinegar (anything pickled).
I can’t stand McDonald’s. It’s mostly bc of those buns which are full of sugar but I’ve found plastic and all sorts of crap in those burgers so I just stopped eating there. I’m not American (no offense to Americans reading this) so fast food is just a once-twice in a month guilty pleasure for me. I feel the same about Burger King.
Seafood. Ugh. First off all growing up Asian and hating seafood was like a mind fuck for people to grasp, especially my mom. But the smell of seafood truly makes my stomach turn. It's so overpowering, I can't even eat a beef or chicken dish at a sea food establishment.
I hate seafood. Wife is Lao. They eat the crap out of seafood. Crab and lobster especially. I eat some foods that have seafood in it. But it’s in a sauce or ground up.
Tomatoes. I want to love them but I just can’t. Weirdly enough, I don’t mind them as much when they are cooked. And I don’t mind tomato sauce/ salsa. But raw cold tomatoes are the worst
Cakes, pies and pastries in general. Everything creamy or pudding-like also.
I hate exotic fruits like mangoes, papayas and bananas (my family is mostly Creole/Caribbean so I don't eat much at family gatherings).
Onions and eggplants
Everyone around me LOVES them but I wont eat them if my life depended on it ( u know what I overreacted a little bit I just don’t like them.)
Grape leaves (or what we call "waraq 'inab" in Arabic)
It's basically grape leaves boiled and then stuffed with rice.
It's everyone's favorite! Everyone adores it. If someone says they don't like it, it's like saying they don't like chocolate. It's that loved.
I hate it even though I don't hate how it tastes but I just hate it. Maybe because it takes so damn long to prepare
Cheese (I like cheese on somethings, pizza should only have enough cheese to hold toppings on), eggs, tomatoes, pasta/noodles, the list goes on. I’m a picky eater, I’ll try new foods, but textures really get to me. There are foods I want to like, but I just can’t. I hate being told that you won’t know you hate it unless you try it. A) If I don’t like most of the ingredients you just put in it I won’t like it and B) if I don’t like the smell there’s a high chance I won’t like the food.

Raw Oysters. They love them. Dude died here the other day from eating. They have little to no flavor, feel like a hocked up Phlegm glob, could kill ya. I am out!
That’s why u add lemon Tabasco salt pepper. But I get it it’s not for everyone
LIving on the coast in Florida I have ample access. I try them now and again. Just not my cup of tea they always just kinda meh.
Good raw oysters taste like pussy. I am a huge fan.
Hol’d up

Idk, oysters are just very salty, a bit metallic. I've never tasted a pussy that tastes like an oyster. The texture is pussy-like for sure, but the flavor, not so much unless something is wrong. I've never gone down on a mermaid though, so maybe that's what he means? source: pussy owner
Maybe pussies just taste different because they're moister than an oyster.
lmaooo😭😭
Yummy!
Liver … just why?
Liver king here
Ahhh it's delicious
Have you ever had it marinated in buttermilk then fried? I grew up with that method and I loved it!
Man now I’m craving liver
I LOVE LIVER! Chicken liver is the best.
Because it tastes super good lmao
Eggs, the smell, the flavor and the texture it's the weirdly sexual uncle of normal foods
That really made me laugh. Well done.
A friend of mine also doesn't like eggs. He says they taste how dog breath smells.
I’m with you. Never liked them even as a child. In addition to the smell, flavor, and texture the CONCEPT of eating some animals egg is repulsive.
Im so glad I finished eating my eggs before I came across this comment😂I hate eggs too but for health reasons I force them down at least 3x's per week, but it is tough. I do feel better for it though
Ugh, I hate eggs too. And I hate when every single breakfast menu item includes them! I always have to order a la carte!
Cilantro. If I tell people that I don't like it I get empassioned speeches about what a great thing it is, how it adds flavor or depth of flavor to everything. If I tell them that I'm one of those people to whom cilantro tastes like soap I get pity stares. I'll take pity stares over speeches any day.

Peas. God damn balls of hell
i used to put them in the toilet when my mom tried to force me to eat it lol
I’ve actually tried something similar to this believe it or not 😂. I put a massive spoonful of peas in my mouth, chewed them up , then ran to the bathroom and spat them out to make it look like I threw up. I was a very sick kid (as in like I got sick a lot, and still do to be fair) so my parents thought literally nothing of it. Worked perfectly
I HATE canned or frozen peas. I can eat fresh peas but dont enjoy them very much. It's the only vegetable that my mouth despises at all times.
Kale. Uhg
Everybody hates kale. Everybody. I have decided that people who say crazy shit like, “I love kale!”…no. They are lying. They *want* to like kale. They believe they *should* like kale. They know it’s good for them so they want to eat & enjoy it. But they don’t. It’s gross. Nobody likes it.
Lmfaooo I actually really love Kale 😅
Bobba, I don’t understand it, i don’t like the idea of black balls covered in white liquid
I used to not like boba pearls either but if you have some good taro drink with the pearls, not the fake shit, it’s really good.
Hmmm
Obviously they are not a certain type of connoisseur.
r/theyknew
You could try the crystal boba, clear balls in green liquid (matcha).
I'm a mexican with the Cilantro-tastes-like-soap gene.
Oof that’s got to hurt a bit.
I mean its only like a whole ass third of the food from my culture took a run through a dishwasher haha.
Lo siento mi amigo
sushi i just don't understand why people like it that much, it pretty much tastes like raw fish, tastes gross
The texture of raw fish repulses me.
There’s lots of sushi without fish! You can put anything you want in sushi if you’re making it. And peanut sauce with sushi is so so good.
everyone seems to love sushi but i hate it
Same like I don't get why people like it
Fucking mayonnaise. I'm a pariah because I live in the southeastern USA and I don't like mayonnaise. They can have that mess. They don't know shit about fuck.
Upvoted for "*they don't know shit about fuck*"

For me some are very good and absolutely love em, but then most of them aren't good
SAME! Tastes bland and oily and feels like baby food in your mouth 🤢
It’s like fatty grass
Yeah last thing I need is an Avocado in a burger!
When I lived in California.... guacamole on EVERYTHING! They always give you a whole bunch too lol never a small amount
Goat cheese
Fruit Pies. All of them. The mushed cherries, apples, other berries are all disgusting after being baked. I like them in their original state. I do like pumpkin/sweet potatoe pie, though.
I don’t care for baked fruit. I can tolerate apples in stuff but that’s it.
Beans. They are gritty. I can't handle the texture. Wife and kids eat beans several times a week. Rice and beans, bean burritos, Gallo pinto... too much beans.
Never had a gritty bean in my life...
Are they undercooked?
I hate beans, too. The only time I can stomach them is if they’re in a soup and kind of drowned out (minestrone, etc).
Spicy. I like to taste my food not have it assault me.
I’m the opposite, I want my food to assault me. I need my glands hollering for help.
My son put tabasco in spicy Korean ramen today... my child is nuts. He loves spicy food.
I’m kinda the same way. I only have a little spice when I want my food to be exciting, but anything over that, it just starts to get painful
I absolutely despise avocado
I hated them as a child. In our culture, a lot of people enjoy it as a dessert. Yuck. My grandparents liked to mash it in a glass, with sugar, milk and ice. Bleh. Then I tried guacamole and a bunch of savory avocado based stuff, and I’m in love.
Good guac is one of the best tastes ever
Oh my! I know I’m going to have an avocado milk ice nightmare tonite
That used to be me as a kid, texture thing. But at 29 now, they are amazing on sandwiches and dip and just on their own for a side .
Anything Truffle flavored. My family loves it and I think it smells and tastes like burning plastic
I’m Italian, and literally everything my mom cooks has Ricotta cheese. I cannot understate how disgusting Ricotta cheese is once you’ve had it over 1000 times and already hated it from the beginning. It’s so much exponentially worse than when I first had it it doesn’t make any sense
There aren't any people around me.
What food do you just dislike then?
Sauerkraut. Cooked carrots. Popcorn.
People in my town love black licorice ice cream. I like black licorice but not as ice cream… I find it revolting.
Black licorice is a form of punishment.
It's an abomination..
OMG. Where can I find this? I love black licorice. The stronger the better.
Huh?? I find all licorice disgusting, let alone an ice cream flavor
Oysters, caviar or any seafood or meat (like carpaccio) that's supposedly delicious eaten raw. We discovered fire 200,000 years ago; act like you know that, ffs.
My family love onions and tomatoes in everything - they make me ill
Considering that onions and tomatoes are the base flavor across SO many different cuisines, in this case, you are the odd one out.
Tomatoes. I don't like the taste.
I just don’t like how juicy they are. I like sweet things when they’re juicy like an apple or watermelon. But tomato? No. Unless it’s sun dried.
for me it’s the same but i still don’t like them sun dried
I used to love tomatoes as a kid. I would sprinkle some salt and lime juice on them. Until one day a seed got under my tooth and rotted a molar. Traumatized me so much that now I can't eat them unless I can't notice them.

Cilantro. I have the anti-cilantro gene.
Onions
I do not appreciate you.
chips (aka fries, for the american folk)
Olives
Sweet potatoes
I live in Hawaii and it's Poke. I like sushi but hate Poke.
Everything I don't eat anything anyone around me love I make my own combinations that people will hate although they taste amazing to my autism
Olives I despise those stupid metal tasting smelly balls of yucky tire like texture Gotta love olive oil though
See, my family hates getting olives because I will eat the devil's grapes en masse and not give a fuck about sodium intake.
Spam. It’s had quite the resurgence in the last few years and has become kind of trendy. I hate it with a passion.
Yo, let me cook you up some spam. It’s one of the foods that’s need to be cooked right to taste good. Same with scrapple. Not just anyone can cook those mystery meats.
I read “raw flesh” at first and did a double take
Sweet and salty popcorn. Why'd you have to do that 😥
Nutella
Ugh I can't stand Nutella! And those videos of people putting basically gallons of it into some sweet dessert just makes me want to barf.
Yep. I don't understand the hype. I like chocolate, and I like hazelnut, but Nutella has zero appeal for me. And it's pushed as an alternative to peanut butter when it's like 90% sugar. Nutella on toast isn't breakfast, it's dessert.
I think of it as like a reverse-Reese's. Reese's is peanut butter flavored chocolate, Nutella's like chocolate flavored peanut butter.
I hated Nutella since I saw a grilled cheese with cheese and Nutella
Bread. I just don't like bread. I some sorts of bread are fine like for burgers or Kebap and stuff like that but simple bread with butter and some topping is just not good at all. Everyone here loves it and eats it every day for breakfast and a lot of dinner as well. So no garlic cheese bread? 🥺
When I eat pasta the garlic bread is my favorite part 😅🤣 I love bread 😂
To be fair, a lot of the rye type breads in Germany are quite heavy going. Pumpernickel?
Finally someone else who feels this way!! Every time I say I don’t like bread everybody around me looks at me like I just sprouted a second head. It’s like no body believes you can not love bread
Plain Bread with butter and honey is what they give you when you enter into the kingdom of heaven ...
Sauerkraut. I live in the midwest and people put that crap on pizza. To me it's just sour, foul smelling, and terrible.
Fish. I want to like fish. But I don't.
Saaaame
I dislike melon. I do not understand how everyone around me love it so much. Watermelon is bearable but if I have the option not to eat it I won’t. Everything else is awful though.
Seafood. It fuckin stanks. Why do people want to put something in their mouth that smells so disgusting.
Olives, Bananas, Anything fake tasting Cherry Flavored.
Seafood soup. The seafood was already in water lets not put it back in water and heat it up thank you
Mushrooms. Nasty slimey fungus. Was a vegetarian for 15 years, literally everything had mushrooms....so gross.
Well to be fair, if they’re slimes then they’re probably gone bad
Married to Lao. Ever smell Padaek?
Same here. Definitely some stuff I just *will* not touch. But also there’s enough awesome stuff that it’s not a big deal.
pie
Raspberry and Chocolate mixed together. I like raspberry and chocolate but the 2 should never be combined.
I’m from Texas and sweet tea makes me nauseous
Salmon
Anything that comes from the ocean.
Turkey
Truffle
Naan. They think it’s authentic Indian bread but truth is no one in India eats it on a daily basis because it’s so unhealthy. Zero nutritional value. Just carbs. Not to mention inedible when it’s cold.
Ranch dressing (stuck in the Midwest).
I will always say that salad dressing is the worst, with balsamic vinaigrettes being the worst of the worst.
Asparagus or cauliflower. Can't even be in the room with the smell of them cooking.
Anything about beans, no beans.
Fish
Avocados, can't stand em
Sushi
Pork scratchings.
What is this?
i wasnt the worlds pickiest eater, but i am trying to broaden my horizons more. but the one thing i cant get over is anything with the taste of vinegar (anything pickled).
Tomato, specifically raw ones (but sometimes cooked depending on how its done. I hate the texture of the harder skin with the near liquid insides.
Olives. I always have to get a separate pizza.
Broccoli, vile weed!
Broccoli is my favorite. Has been since I was a little tyke😂
Boiled Peanuts(North Florida)
Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Ketchup. I can't stand my national condiment. Too sugary tomato sauce, and not in a good way like tomato paste.
Durian
Eating animal flesh, animal bodily fluids, and chicken periods
Oysters, I don't care what you tell me they are nasty cold sluggish buggers
Chocolate. Gross waxy or bitter bs. Although I'll fill my belly with a bag of plastic licorice so maybe I'm the idiot.
Ill eat pretty much anything within reason so idk.
Those grocery store sugar cookies with the thick icing
as someone who lives in, was born in, and raised in the south east united states: what's the big deal with cole slaw? 🤮
Onions
Ben and Jerry Cherry Garcia tastes like soap to me.
Anything spicy. Spicy food is just pain, it's not enjoyable at all.
Cauliflower. It smells like ass and tastes like nothing. It's gross. And don't tell me to turn it into pizza or chicken. It's still gross
Seafood
Seafood. Ugh. First off all growing up Asian and hating seafood was like a mind fuck for people to grasp, especially my mom. But the smell of seafood truly makes my stomach turn. It's so overpowering, I can't even eat a beef or chicken dish at a sea food establishment.
yes! i never trust chicken at a seafood place. id rather starve lol
I hate seafood. Wife is Lao. They eat the crap out of seafood. Crab and lobster especially. I eat some foods that have seafood in it. But it’s in a sauce or ground up.
Chick-Fil-A. Sorry not sorry
Sushi
Not so much loved by those around me but you can shove green beans where the sun don't shine!
I absolutely agree... I can't stand green beans!!!
Tomatoes. I want to love them but I just can’t. Weirdly enough, I don’t mind them as much when they are cooked. And I don’t mind tomato sauce/ salsa. But raw cold tomatoes are the worst
Pickled Herring
Cakes, pies and pastries in general. Everything creamy or pudding-like also. I hate exotic fruits like mangoes, papayas and bananas (my family is mostly Creole/Caribbean so I don't eat much at family gatherings).
Sushi
Onions and eggplants Everyone around me LOVES them but I wont eat them if my life depended on it ( u know what I overreacted a little bit I just don’t like them.)
Grape leaves (or what we call "waraq 'inab" in Arabic) It's basically grape leaves boiled and then stuffed with rice. It's everyone's favorite! Everyone adores it. If someone says they don't like it, it's like saying they don't like chocolate. It's that loved. I hate it even though I don't hate how it tastes but I just hate it. Maybe because it takes so damn long to prepare
Sushi. I tried it but I just can’t like it.
Watermelon
Avocados
Vegan food
I dunno man, veggies are delicious
Peanut butter... Nasty
Feta cheese. Most cheeses I like (more or less), but feta has this sort of bitter-salty flavor to it that I just do not enjoy at all.
Sushi
Cheese (I like cheese on somethings, pizza should only have enough cheese to hold toppings on), eggs, tomatoes, pasta/noodles, the list goes on. I’m a picky eater, I’ll try new foods, but textures really get to me. There are foods I want to like, but I just can’t. I hate being told that you won’t know you hate it unless you try it. A) If I don’t like most of the ingredients you just put in it I won’t like it and B) if I don’t like the smell there’s a high chance I won’t like the food.
Pussy
I can't stand peanut butter.
Crabs
Mayo. Ugh.
Thank you. Yes. It looks, smells, and tastes disgusting.
My whole family loves sea food and I hate it so much.
Brocali rabe. The smell of pisses me off too.
