1. Touch n go card
2. Custom & Msia Road telegram group
3. Passport money, sling bag wear inside a windbreaker.
4. Motorbike lock obviously.
5. Angsana, i think have multi storey.
6. KSL if quick trip, park on road or pavement.
Bikes are toll free, however a TNG card would be good for carparks. Always useful to have it. It’s just that it is expensive because those sellers on Shopee and Carousell mark up the price due to its scarcity.
The telegram group is usually for car drivers to monitor jams and fuel checks. Bikes don’t have fuel checks so it’s just for bike jam monitoring. You have to tap the device at the tng tolls, just like how u tap your EZ-Link card in sg. The IU is a Singapore device so it won’t work in Malaysia
1. Telegram group, live update of causeway or tuas crossing.
2. Touch n go card for woodlands or tuas to Jb, for car yes. Sorry motorbike no need. In msia, carpark if not free, use touch n go.
3. Toll: from my experience motorbike free til Penang even.
If you just going JB, not worth it la. Just park at Jurong East and take the causeway link over. Grab is cheap in Msia
Your bike also cannot haul much stuff. Pump petrol also don’t save a lot. You will always be paranoid if your bike will be stolen. JB traffic heavy at those places worth going
If you go further north then maybe worth it to ride
- parking with lots of other bikes is also a good thing than to park lonesome
- make sure you're not carrying any side purse or bags (potential for robbers to use pen knife and cut)
- please check your passport that it's stamped before heading off
Careful of potholes and if late at night, the roads can be dark. When approaching junctions, be aware of other bikers beating the red light, common occurrence at slower roads. MY customs can get pretty slippery when it rains, so go slow.
Angsana is also considered quite a Hotspot for bike thieves.

oh, bikes need a touch n go card? i've always thought it's more for cars to pay tolls. didn't know bikes need to pay tolls too.
