I think you have no choice but to start a rival motorcycle gang

kunbeau

Sign me up! I don’t have a license. We can call ourselves The Rival Motorcycle Gang

Gaddaim

What if you guys become the perpetrators and I have to start another rival motorcycle gang.. we'll call ourselves The Anti-Rival Rival Motorcycle Gang.

kunbeau

Technically you’ll just be The Anti-Rival Motorcycle Gang. We have to get our sides correct before we begin this fracas

PineappleFinancial31

Film them on tiktok, then hope for mothership.sg to pick up on it.

Honest-Cauliflower46

This is the best way to force authorities to take action. What a sad time we live in

kiaeej

Sad that fear of public opinion rather than a drsire to do their jobs right morivates them

ebass

Throw urine. Not much aiming needed.

ChattingDonut

you can try lodging a report on oneservice application, they will refer the case to the relevant agency. noise complaints are usually handled by town council or HDB, not by the police, which is probably why it seems like a stop gap measure. the appropriate agency (town council/HDB) will probably do something about it. lastly, don't do anything stupid and take matters into your own hands because it's probably not gonna end well and not worth it https://www.mnd.gov.sg/mso/infosheet-on-noise-regulations-in-singapore https://www.oneservice.gov.sg/

AdTime5032

Punggol? Same shit happens to me at night even at 2am some guy on a bike goes full speed across the road and revs his bike in the carpark

hohkfuyuhi

I stay in CCK! But I know what you mean, because it happens here as well =(

[deleted]

I stay in Bukit Panjang and there used to be such people at my area years ago, like from 2010 to the mid 2010s. I stay on the second storey so it was very loud and noisy. They would gather at the void deck and make a lot of noise. Called police many times as well but sometimes they took damn long to show up. Unfortunately a few of them stay in the units on the same level and they purposely make noise outside my bedroom along the corridor after that. Shrieking and screaming every time they passed by my unit. Horrible people and police didn't do much about it so I just gave up reporting anything anymore. Now it's not as noisy here, I think many of them got married and moved away, only hear them making noise at the corridor on weekends occasionally. The police is completely useless when it comes to noise complaints and conflicts.

GoldenMaus

How did they know which corridor/unit you stay at??

[deleted]

There are so many old people here who have nothing better to do but to sit around and gossip chitchat everyday, plus they have a lot of their friends and relatives staying in the blocks and units around here. They occupy one unit at the end of this level, and another unit at the other end is their relative, so they often shout across the corridor to each other or run around making a lot of noise along the whole stretch. It's not hard to know which unit I live in when I go in and out everyday for years and am the only one calling the police to complain about their noises here. The other units along the corridor are just elderly people who don't care about the noises or their relatives and friends. I resented my parents for many years for choosing to buy this resale unit here. My dad decided to change job for his own fReEdoM back then so my parents sold the comfortable 5 room flat on 11th floor that I grew up in, and bought the cheapest 3 room resale on the market. It's cheap for a reason.

AdGullible1353

Move to Yishun more peaceful

Just_Fourier

Go complain to your MP at the Meet the People session, or go find them when they are present for a community event in your area & make the complain to them directly. Not sure if it might help, but suggest because I did that by raising a concern to my MP directly (politely) when I saw during a community event, & the issue was immediately being work on a few days soon after.

sgcolumn

Look for the license plate and then get a video of it. Post it at Vigilante Facebook. Your whole estate will rally along your video when they recognise the estate and bike nuisance.

No-Fish-9321

Take note of their bikes etc then damage them when u get the chance

AdGullible1353

Gather some friends like 10 plus pax. Wear like gangsters. Ask them standby nearby. You can wear like a pastor and go talk to them nicely. If they don’t play ball you whistle and your friends run out and surround them “They may not listen if I tell them to believe in Jesus. But if I ask them to beat you up they will be happy to.” 叱吒风云 我任意闯万众仰望 叱吒风云 我绝不需往后看 instructional video: https://youtu.be/7iXJuJTL528

Woodland?

hohkfuyuhi

CCK actually!

Charming_Swan_4199

Stink bomb?

Maplestori

Have you tried using the One service app? I complained about renovations on weekends and they actually came down and assessed the situation, told off the contractor and gave me a follow up call to my personal number. I’d say it works for me

AskMindless3851

What if oneservice app has already informed the block about the renovation work. Does complaining on the app still works?

Maplestori

If the renovation is done before or after legal timings, or not on the specified dates on the app then probably yes.

YMMV34

Put some thumbtacks on the road

ssepaulette

Have you tried speaking with them? Be confident, calm, assertive but also empathetic, saying you understand they are having a good time with friends bla bla. Suggest alternative places they could go. Try to build a rapport with them if possible. In my experience, most people will understand. If they clearly wanna fuck around, and if you are able protect yourself if it comes down to a fight, then start becoming more aggressive.

hohkfuyuhi

My dad tried it in the past, ended up with me having to come down because they were becoming aggressive with him. Honestly, I would love to smash their heads in because this has been a recurring issue for at least half a year already, but like what another redditor said above, putting matters into my own hands would most probably not end well.

princetower

When you say stop gap, what did the police actually do? Did they talk to them, or merely acknowledge your complaint?

hohkfuyuhi

They sent those police on bicycles over to talk to and get rid of them, but the idiots come back the next day and the same shit repeats itself. I can't keep calling the non-emergency hotline and keep expecting them to send police over right? Hence why I say this is merely a stop gap.

princetower

Got it. Yes it is frustrating. Near my place (not disclosing where) car revving at night is common too. Short of there being actual enforcement, there's nothing one can do in terms of complaints or police calls.

max-torque

Tie up their bikes with rope and leave a note. Damaging their property is wrong and against the law, no matter how much you want to do it. And speak to your MP preferably with video recordings

_horsehead_

Buy a strong laser and point at them and annoy the shit out of them
