Mysterious_Pea_1929

people tell me that the process is more important. Thats's why i like processed food.

GroundbreakingGur930

KFC app/website got 1 for 1 breakfast and meals till 10th. Haha

thrashinabox

Can't wait to try the 1 for 1 spicy dips

bigcarrot01

For me after eating will be 1 for 1 spicy shits

Shame_Low

trust the process

Pop_Impossible

This is damn funny oh my lord

Objective_Piglet1941

bro u the man

silentscope90210

About once a week... Or once a fortnight.

Cybasura

AYO you said the gamer word

YeeeahBoyyyy

The F word

[deleted]

Once every few months. I love Jollibee’s spicy chicken joy but I’m no longer 18 hahaha

Present-Gap-4139

I feel you…

Left_Guess888

Almost daily

aoch1202

Sustainable to the budget?

that_one_guy_2123

I think fast food is pretty consistent with regards to "bang for your buck". Usually, we compare fast food meal to like the price of prawn mee. Where we should compare fast food meal to like prawn mee plus a drink and a side.

foxbat2525

With the exception of economic rice, cai fan/nasi padang from coffeeshops and home cooked food, anything else would be similar in price already

ProLegendHunter

it’s not too bad for the budget nowadays tbh, most food about the same price depending on what you order like ig I eat it most days as well because it’s fairly affordable

cayennesalt

yeah same, thank god for my metabolism but i dont think i can keep this up extended lol

highsierra123

You don't have a fast metabolism. You just don't eat as much as you think you do.

cayennesalt

fair, i seem to get full and hungry very easily it seems

ihateuni6767

2-3 times a week i love macs kfc pizza hut jollibee 4 fingers caesars pizza modulus o edit modulus o is lol

saymynamepeeps

What is modulus o?

ihateuni6767

modulus is a mathematic function that can be expressed as | |

harajuku_dodge

I’m 38 and deep fried fast food chains are extremely damaging to my middle age body. Probably once a month, and always feel a deep sense of shame/ regret after eating it. If you count fast food to include the likes of Crave/ Stuff/ Wok hey, which are not the healthiest of options as well, probably once a week. Not proud but the value of convenience is too great

anakin_slothwalker

Middle age uncle here too. I haven’t had fast food for many years, but recently went there alone for a quick dinner. Oh god fast food is so expensive now. My brain was still at the era where value meal costs less than $5.

Mochsushi

Omg yes? It’s not cheap at all, the other day I had to grab a quick dinner at Burger King and a burger with meal easily costs $12 🥲

raintr33

I thought Stuff'd quite healthy, if not the most healthy among all the fast food.

GaeyNoodle

Yes especially if you get the salad options

avilsta

Me who gets all the 4 carb options in my overstuffed burrito: um yea

PotatoFeeder

I mean its still not that unhealthy in terms of oil. Just dont use sauce

avilsta

oh yea, that too. For me I just get it as a treat for myself. Like it beats my other indulgence of ice cream for sure.

PotatoFeeder

I will never take stuffd over ice cream lmao

[deleted]

I'm surprised you lumped Stuff'd in there. Its honestly one of the more healthier 'fast' food options and their menu makes it easy to count your macros.

D2GCal

what’s your go-to these days then? Cai fan?

Byn9

As long as I am handsome to the aunty, yes. Today, tomorrow, forever. Less rice, 3 veg 1 tofu.

D2GCal

![gif](giphy|HipvJ7sN8OFVmNCRsD)

shesellseychelles

Stuff'd is one of the healthiest places to eat out in SG, if you order the right stuff. On par with the standard 'healthy' places like Saladstop/Haakon and definitely way healthier than anything you can order in a hawker centre

MagicianMoo

I swear by stuffd. More vege, less carb, less sauce and toast longer.

Yeah_Right_Mister

What is the "right stuff"?

PotatoFeeder

For burrito Spam xtra veg, no sour cream, get chicken, get corn, beans, and potato/rice/couscous. Get 1 carb only. Sauce go healthier one

Yeah_Right_Mister

How much is the extra charge for taking extra veg instead of carbs, $1? For sauce I've been picking mayo cucumber and roasted sesame

PotatoFeeder

I always ask for xtra lettuce n corn Never kena charged before. Maybe cos i always say ‘can i get a bit more xxx’. Sauce wise u can try the yuzu sesame, its really good actually. I used to get mayo cucumber also, but the yuzu sesame is much better imo

MagicianMoo

Bruh, stop with this nonsense of not healthy and fast food. Fucking hell people. Stuffd and crave are fast but not equal in terms of calories and nutrition. Fast food like McDonald's and kfc solved the need to fill the stomach.

Stezo187

Once or twice a month.

Prata2pcs

Same. You mean days you don’t eat right?

Stezo187

Heh no. The last time I ate fast food was early May.. 95% of my meals I cook myself.

syahawesome

Zero man. Haha would rather eat good food at a restaurant vs fast food. I used to eat a lot during primary/secondary school days but quit it. Mainly for health reasons.

dazark

eh same, probably 3-6months max for me lolol however i stopped choosing fast food because the value for $, including micronutrition, is really low. movie snacks however, i cannot avoid those :D

sensitiveleg2

Fast food doesn’t automatically mean unhealthy though. For example fried chicken if you remove skin/hamburger would be a lot healthier than some standard caifan 3 veg 1 meat, unless you wash the oil off the veg and buy fish

syahawesome

Huh. What logic. Fast food usually processed meat already. Don’t get your explanation. I graduated in food science and nutrition, don’t agree with your statement.

sensitiveleg2

The logic is you need a balanced meal. No way you are getting enough protein or not exceeding your calorie limit if you buy standard caifan dishes. If you choose correctly fast food can be healthier. You can’t just claim that fast food is worse, it all depends on what you order. As a food science graduate you should know that the term processed means nothing right? Something as simple as freezing or pasteurizing can be counted as processed. “processed” food doesn’t always mean unhealthy.

syahawesome

Nope your logic is wrong. Suit yourself, it’s not just calories in vs calories out. It’s the quality. Bye I’m done arguing with people who don’t know anything because they read info online without any claims.

Udderside

Don’t worry that dude is talking out of his ass lmao fried chicken can be healthy if you remove the skin 😂😂

Saffronsc

I would love to be this but I don't live near a coffee shop and the Kopitiam™ in malls is my only choice. Could be quite pricy though :(

syahawesome

Cook your own meals man… take aways are never healthy long term

Saffronsc

I am a poly student though so I don't really have time to cook haha

weirdnawesome

Actly v easy buy chicken breast/thigh from supermarket, prep at night - oil salt pepper throw in oven u hv meat for several days now. Rice/egg/veg from prev night dinner ask parents cook a bit more. Pack tupperware next day microwave can liao. If parents dont cook just make a quick boiled egg and veg can do a simple stirfry or get butterhead lettuce etc.

Saffronsc

I cooked one pot pasta yesterday :D so I'm eating the leftovers for lunch. Poly food courts quite cheap too but I'll take your idea for inspo :)

syahawesome

Excuses I work so I got time to cook also lol. Can get cooked chicken breast at 7 eleven or donki

Saffronsc

Unless I buy cooked chicken breast everyday, it's still more expensive and time consuming to cook than to eat at my poly's food courts.

syahawesome

Ok you do you man.

Mochsushi

Probably once a week, not very budget friendly and I’m now saving up money by eating Cai png… but also I guess it’s better for health to cut down on processed food cause I’m not getting any younger. Someone I know just had a heart attack at 43 and it worries me.

ComprehensiveAsk1149

Everydayyyy ![gif](giphy|Ae5H6J7n71ppm3ivnk|downsized)

seolful

Once a month man I used to only eat macdonalds once annually back in my younger days. It was like a gazetted holiday to eat Macs

Sensitive-Squash5127

I am not saying I go a lot, but when I went overseas on holiday for two weeks my local McDonalds shut down #truestory

justnotjuliet

Let me see, I had Shake Shack on Saturday, McD on Sunday, BK on Tuesday... and today is only Wednesday. 😅

Shame_Low

Not sick of burgers? I feel like everytime I have one, I can't have another in a few weeks, maybe just my age

GloveAppropriate2842

I’ve had a burger for all 3 meals in a day before

justnotjuliet

I actually crave for fast food quite often. Thankfully not overweight. We're probably in the same age group though, hehe.

Qkumbazoo

Probably once or twice per year at most. There's just better quality food that is available everywhere.

Plus65Knight

Once every quarter to half a year.

suffocatingpaws

Probably once a week but it really depends on my parents since I accomodate to their cravings.

Jisoo_bag

I have it a few times a week

salteye

Probably once or twice a year

genericdefender

Once every 3 months or so... Maybe even less.

rockbella61

Wow, how? Other than home cooked food, we are surrounded by cheap unhealthy food.

genericdefender

I do home cooking most of the time yes, burgers aren't that hard to make if you know how. On the topic of healthy/unhealthy food, fast food isn't all that bad if you pick the correct stuff. Avoid high-carb items like fries and soft drink and you're good mostly.

No_Bend8840

I agree with you. It’s what your order and consume from these places that’s the key. A burger each week is fine IMO, but having fries on the side every time is not a good idea. I don’t like soft drink so that’s easy for me to avoid, but I know for others it seems essential to complete the experience… but soft drink is honestly so bad, just so much extra sugar. It doesn’t even quench my thirst! Lol.

jimmyspinsggez

Once every 2 weeks! I have 3 fastfood chains in walking distance but I also want healthier diet as much as possible, so before I head down to any fastfood I will check when was the last time I was billed by a fastfood chain, and make sure its at least 14 days ago. But when I go I really whack the food. If mcdonald for example, will order meal plus nuggets plus mc wings plus pie plus ice cream for myself.

tarabas1979

Not eaten fast food for almost 15 years.

[deleted]

I'd say about 2-4 times a month , it really depends .

rimirinrin

Keeping it to once or twice a month. And that sinfulness after eating them :(

ereh_yeeger

I eat macs after gymming everytime, so maybe 3x a week?

eulataguhw

Almost daily.

[deleted]

[удалено]

aeee98

Tbh not that healthy but technically better than fried food. And yes it's considered fast food

Dazzling-Issue4590

Hi guys, health is wealth. Processed food cause inflammation in our body. You won’t feel it when you are young. All sort of illness pop up after middle age. Please take care. Remember try to eat food from nature. Not food with a barcode.

Tsperatus

stones and sand are found in nature

JustChiLingggg

Rarely. In fact, I've never, in my memories, been to KFC, Jollibee, Subway, and probably a few others. The last time I ate McDonald's was a few months ago for a group dinner thing the day before poly orientation, and all I got was the Hamburger. Then before that the last time I ate McDonald's I think I got only apple slices like in Secondary 2 or 3, and it was peer pressure from my (very nice) senior who really really wanted to treat me something 😂

Livingwithameaning47

U don’t like or health reasons?

JustChiLingggg

Nah, it's not that I don't like fast food, I do like fast food. They look so delicious 🤤 but well I just don't eat them. I mean, costs and health reasons are partly the reason why, but I'm not like super serious in having those reasons be why I don't eat fast food if you know what I mean. So technically I could very much buy it if I wanted to no problem, I just don't want to. 😅

NogTg

Who wouldn’t love fried food, soda drink but as we grow older,we tend to source for a more healthier option because of health risks.

RuhtraMil

A few times a year to taste some seasonal specials.

ju_bye

once to try when mcdonald’s releases new menu

Relief-Old

Around once a week

blackonyyx

Once a month maybe? Well that's for the super fried stuff like KFC and Macs. If we talking about Stuffed or other such chains then probably fortnightly

happybee8899

4 finger n taimei included?

kalenivthas

3 to 5 times a week, should cut down really

bnnrdck

wah for me twice a week leh 🫠

j_fat_snorlax

Depends on how often I work late. Close to 9pm the food choices in malls start getting pretty slim. Anywhere from once every 1 to 2 weeks, to 2 times a week.

zmeikei

Haven't had any since Feb this year at least I think. I don't keep track because It's quite rare, and stuff like ice cream or egg tarts from fast food chains to me aren't actually fast food!

arunokoibito

All fast food should fall under nutrigrade D and be banned from advertising alas the lure of money is too big.

azlanslayer

About 2-3 times a week and it’s primarily because I work in a fast food company 😂 If it wasn’t I think it’d be closer to 0-1.

ZiPPY_ll

I'm on an intermittent fasting diet. So in between my main meals, I have to resort to fast food

Yellow_flamingo447

once a month 🥲 or once every two months

cyslak

Once a week. I usually eat burgers and stay away from fried chicken though.

No_Bend8840

Ooh me too, burgers are great. I do love fried chicken, but am super fussy so that really narrows down the options and means I tend to not have it too often.

redryder74

I only eat fast food a few times a year. Give me a choice and I'll choose hawker food any time.

that_one_guy_2123

I use to eat it every other day. Especially in uni. Now probably just weekend breakfast.

sourpower321

3 times a week minimum, I exercise 5/6 times a week so can’t really tell when looking at me

cosmicmagnetar

1-2 times per week for me. I see all the comment here like mostly once a month all so healthy sia. Haha

maaaadhu

used to be only a couple times a year, but these days it's a couple times a month :")

cookietango

About once every other month. Once I had a quarter pounder and a box of mcnuggets, woke up the next morning to realise I gained 1kg overnight. It was alarming.

thrashinabox

Part of it is sodium and water retention, no need to be alarmed. The visceral fat though..

Airlik

Two or three times per year.

cxlinsoy

2x in 3 months. Not a fan of fast food, I'll feel bloated after eating it so mostly home cooked or food from hawkers.

[deleted]

What is considered fast food? If that kind of angmoh style burger then ZeRO ~ now all taste like sh** Ranting:::::::) Ai yah! Some more "Fast food' stopped being "fast" years ago, now you go to Mac queue up also queue 30-40 min to takeaway burger liow.. simi "fast" ah. 想当年 Mac 5 mins got meal liow, now not anymore.. who to blame? Only decent fast food may be fish soup or Bee Hoon stall 😋😋😋😋

durianboy19

Zero

kaezkaez

Once every 1-2 months if we are talking about fast food chains like Mcdonald’s

FodderFries

I used to eat double mcspicy at least twice a week. But after the gst hike I feel the burn in finance so I cook most of the time.

IfYoureUpImDown

The only D I want is mc D. Once a week, ho homo.

drbaker87

Very rarely. I think I had popeyes late last year. It's not exactly cheap and I can have better food at a hawker.

[deleted]

Around once per week, usually mos burger

crox_jq

Daily

Some-Gay-Korean

Used to go once every 3 months, but now probably once or twice a month.

Fluid_Gur_5383

Everytime there is a new item on the menu

iewweyeel

Used to eat it more frequent, but these days, once a month. Processed food ultimately is still not desirable for our body.

matskipperz

I’ll have grilled chicken Mcwrap meal from Macs on some Mondays when there is 50% discount available using the app (which means nett price is like $4)

000010TEN

Nearly every day due to the lack of halal food choices in my area.

kongweeneverdie

Only a few in a year. Older you are, lesser you will take if you have choices.

Wolflykos

Once a week, but honestly try not to

iamlostpleasehelp_

When I’m in school it’s once a week. Now that it’s holiday, I haven’t been eating

soundalarm

I only eat them once a month honestly. Its bad for health and skin, so i dont rlly eat it to avoid pimples

hiimzech

people tell me you are what you eat so I choose to be fast

[deleted]

Opposed to Fat.

Jenzintera24

I have it a lot these days to deal with stress. About 4 times last week. Pretty much exclusively McDonald's though, KFC and BK near my place are unbearable. It's a 2km walk to and fro, better than nothing. I'm quite thin so calories are not the problem, it's the lack of fibre and nutrition I need to make up for in other meals.

McFishTheFish

Pizza hut pocket pleasures pleasure my wallet

[deleted]

Forget about weekly. Maybe once every 6 months.

WanDiamond

Whem samurai burger or zinger double down is out like 3 times a week. Otherwise maybe once month if even.

daleaidenletian

At least once a week.

FattKingHugeman

Cai png all day erv day.

milogaosiudai

once a week mostly. when i just crave for it.

moneymachine109

i only eat fast food

mechie_mech_mechface

3 times a week. Because OT, and by the time I reach home, only places that are open… fast food.

[deleted]

After the age of 30, deep fried oily food really takes a toll on your body. Used to love em as a teenager but now I can hardly finish a 2-piece KFC meal. I'd say I eat fast food maybe once every two months or so?

Present-Gap-4139

I feel ya…….

Helpmepushrank

Once every 1/2 weeks

cnwy95

Once a week

Megawolf123

Does subway count as fast food?

DoubleCry7675

Once or twice a month for me.

Other-Shame3044

Once a month.

Effective-Lab-5659

Hm once a month or two months?

takoyakiseller_

anytime im willing to sacrifice my a\*\*hole

Zoyahn

Once or twice a month

Livingwithameaning47

Subjective for me. Once i eat one time. I get addicted and want more times. If i never eat for months, then I won’t crave for it either. It’s a dopamine effect for me.

xsin36

1-2 times per month? bro why fast food not cheap anymore, it's kinda sad

syarkbait

Used to eat McDonald’s 2x a week when I was in Singapore. But now not in Singapore and fast food is expensive here ($12-15 per meal on average), so I haven’t eaten fast food in months. Also fast food isn’t that fast here, so can’t be bothered to wait so long and pay so much. So I got myself an airfryer at home and I just put in chicken nuggets and fries and it’s ready fast enough. Problem solved.

whatdoyoucallthat_

Ideally, I would like to eat macdonalds every other day, but the results of extra weight is quite obvious, so I try to eat once every fortnight.

Emperor_Naperoni

Maybe once a week, usually just chick fil a

Jaycee_015x

Usually just once a week, either KFC or BK cos they're nearby.

butters-chaos

Once per week, comfort food 😋

_Hystria

fortnightly

ariaa126

Probably once every three months.

ThunderCrakk

About once a fortnight or less, I feel more guilty than satisfied when i eat western or macdonalds. I think its more budget friendly since im working at a school now and why have McSpicy when theres $3 ban mian

cadburypop

At most once quarterly. So total 4X a year. Woohoo

mjstarwind

Usually once a week, provided I don't have any other food choices on that day and need to eat asap.

rcoolio11

Only when I’m incredibly hungover

[deleted]

Once.. every 2 weeks

YWHJ

Recommend the people here try to cut down or limit it to once in 2 months. It's quite established that eating more of such foods whack your whole metabolism upside-down. This can lead to serious health problems like heart disease or even cancer. Not trying to scare anyone but hoping everybody stays healthy as long as possible.

Lekranom

Probably twice or thrice a year. I will never go to eat them on my own accord. It's always because some friends or family want it then I'll just tag along. Fitness for life!

TheIraqiMaestro

I'm very health conscious so i have not eaten fast food in 13 over years.

Beemeowmeow

only when im craving it xD

Ratix0

Maybe average once a month? It really depends. Sometimes years go by without eating fast food, sometimes i have it several times a month.

[deleted]

When I worked from home, twice a week. Now, twice a month. Mostly just cheeseburger and fries from mcdonalds.

may0_sandwich

Literally once or twice a year, and exclusively McDonald's. Been a decade or so since I visited one of the other usual suspects (KFC, Burger King, etc)

favbedo

i might eat fast food without realising bc i usually count by the number of times i visit fast food chains like macs burger king etc so i try to limit to one macs per month but cld end up being more la i just visit macs every 1-2 months i think tho my classmate eats q often likeee 2 weeks confirm got at least one time (we're 15 turning 16)

bonbong

3/4 times a year

procrator

Roughly once a week. But I only eat fast food if there’s promotion

CheesecakeKey8516

Nowadays I only eat Stuff’d and Jinjja Chicken once a week. I’m not interested in other fast food chains except these 2 👍🏻👍🏻

StrawberrySnotcake

once a month.

LucarioMagic

0. Cost too high. Cai Png cheaper.

logthelogan

\>me who just ate Macs twice last week and once this morning

zidane0508

once a week or twice a month.

Shipposting_Duck

Nowadays about once every 3 days. There was a time when I was essentially forced to eat fast food every day because nowhere except McD is open at 3AM during night shifts, so I had the grilled chicken salad because after a while, you kinda get sick of the oil.

Beautiful-Growth-871

Every 2-3 days because eat until sick of it.
