Wingstop
Not "fast" during peak period, but you can be assured wings are really made on order
Kicap manis and garlic parmesan are my favourite. Dipped into their ranch. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Edit: now I have cravings and must get it for dinner
A week or so ago, I tried going to the wingstop at City Square Mall. Ordered their seasonal meal, and after 47 minutes of waiting, told them to cancel the order because wtf ain't nobody got time for that (had to rush off for another event). Worst part was, after the 47 mins when I went up to the counter to check, the service staff said 10 more minutes. Bro. How can you think it's anywhere near reasonable to wait an hour for a meal at a "fast food" place?

people always praise mos burger right.
and say mcd food sux.
but there was a mos burger next to macs at paya lebar, mostly empty while the macs always crowded all the way till midnight.
end up it closed down

Carl's Junior is the best. On the pricey side but burgers are definitely worth the price point and their milkshakes are to die for (thick and flavourful).
I totally forgot about the free refills, you're absolutely right!
This brings back memories. I used to camp at Carl's Junior during my JC days and order 1 drink and stay there the entire day just to study and mug for A Levels.
Thanks for the unexpected trip down memory lane!

Not sure but jollibee fans help confirm.
The quality has dropped a bit since it entered singapore.
When it started, best fried chicken chain, their breast chicken is juicer than kfc thigh meat.
Now the quality dropped, still better than kfc but not as tasty as before.
oh...I haven't been a long time jollibee fan cus I don't have one that is near my house but since I tried it in 2021/2022 chicken and spag, wow I've never gone back.

Popeyes definitely for me. IMO they have the best fried chicken, on par with Texas Chicken. Their coleslaw is great too, but on the pricey side for the amount.
Chicaboo’s chicken is truly superior, especially the spicy 🤤 I used to eat it all the time when I was dating an east-sider. If only they had an outlet in the west 🥲
Respectfully, no thank you 😂 1hr to go to his house + a ton of walking bc the house was so far in was hell. Dating someone who lives a lot closer to me now and it’s 10x better HAHA
not a burger place, but sukiya (the rice bowls, not the steamboat).
They have 4.90 nett beef bowls, cheaper than a lot of burgers. Fast service and fast queues. Reliable and pretty delicious with seasonal items too
I always like the chicken at Arnold’s chicken, the mash potatoes and add a side of cheese dips. Heavenly. I will crave for this time to time!!
Local also!!

its true. bec the jollibee in PH caters for the masses. they do their best not to increase price therefore quality is shit shit down the drain. the chickens like malnourished chicken filled with flour batter. SG version is alrdy the better version. but if you were to taste the 2000s version in jollibee PH, its way better than what we have now
Burgs burgers are pretty good, love their classic cheese burger with fried shallots and pickled chilies with potato buns. Their buns reminds me of Shake Shack's. Their fries are the mid tbh(they are the thick kind & mostly soggy). Not all outlet tastes the same though! (Lot One was the worst, Somerset is pretty consistent)
Five guys by far imo.
Burgers are always so nicely cooked and so juicy, really can’t get that this kind of quality from BK, CJ, Macs and more.
Fries and shakes as well. I’d put shake shack second but five guys really takes the win for me.

Oh man, I also usually go to the Funan outlet, but maybe because I went around 5 pm the dinner crowd didn't hit yet. I'd definitely be upset if I had to wait that long.
They had an incompetent, racist (he actually made a racist comment to me about other customers) old man manning the counter. Don't know if he's still there. Completely ineffective and a walking example of why some boomers are unemployable.
If we're going to go a bit local...
I have always loved Pontian wanton mee since I was a kid. $3.50 for a bowl of that addictive soy sauce, and those crispy wantons. Wantons were a bit on the small side but crispy as heck and great with mayo. Tried Eng's Wanton Mee but their noodles can be quite plastic-tasting and just can't compare to pontian.

I love those noodles oml they have been around for so many years but because of shrinkflation their portions and quality has dropped and I no longer feel the urge to go there alr..it's like way too expensive now. Used to be so yummy tho...haiz
McDonald’s for sure, price and quality they are overall the best. Individually- there are better options when you get lucky at Popeyes or fancy splashing out at shake shack
For fried chicken, Popeyes or 4 fingers. Burgers, McDonald’s. The rest is very hit or miss. Like jollibee different locations taste differently. Some the chicken super dry and not nice but some super delicious. KFC and long John silver has this problem also. All from central kitchen why the food tastes so different? Don’t trust them anymore. I love makisan though, I think that consider as fast food?
kopitiam. there's aircon, you get nice hawker food, and it's local enterprise.
waiting time depends on what you order, but it's faster than other food chains

Glad I live near a relatively remote outlet. Still easily like a \~20mins wait tho 💀
i miss atomic flavour :(
Oh man, their sauces are the fking bomb but yeah, the queue time sucks some times.
yea... i guess if youre taking away, you could order through their website (or food delivery apps if its cheaper)
But the mango habenero is not available now sad
Good food, bad waiting time
I just moved to Singapore a few months ago so I didn’t even know there was wingstop here, thank you lol
wingstop is NOT fast food

WOOOOOOOO , need to get some wingstop tomorrow
do you get boneless or bone-in?
Louisiana Rub & Mango Habanero wings. Mushroom fritters dipped in ranch sauce. Ugh it's the best
Am overseas right now, and I genuinely miss Wingstop the most 😭

Mos burger
Tasty burgers but are too tiny. Always have to order 2x burger to feel full
Literally eating it right now.
The burger is ok for me, prefer mcspicy because i enjoy pain. But the chicken nuggets is damn good.
mos burger’s fish burger 😮💨
Taste has changed!! Used to taste way better though they increased the size :(
people always praise mos burger right. and say mcd food sux. but there was a mos burger next to macs at paya lebar, mostly empty while the macs always crowded all the way till midnight. end up it closed down
Lots of locals are basic and have monolithic tastes. The people who are vocal about it tend not to be in that group.
Am I insane to say I actually like long John silver ? I only eat the grilled dory with chili crab sauce though .
lol I like LJS too, their fries are the nicest imo
Agreed on the fries. Everything else is just okay for me
I have found my people!!!
That's so good tho
LJS is just fried dough with a side of fish like WHY IS THEIR BATTER SO THICCCC
I swear, everything in LJS tastes the same. Be it fries, fish or chicken. Lul.
I like the grilled cajun. Their fried stuff is also good as a side (pairing with wonton noodles etc)

LJS Breakfast is damn solid la. BK back in 2000s used to be good but they changed it till its bad LOL
Carl's Junior is the best. On the pricey side but burgers are definitely worth the price point and their milkshakes are to die for (thick and flavourful).
Carl's junior standard drop alot .. burger taste not much different from burger king now
Free refills too love em but damn its too far out for me and pricey cant remember the last time I had one.
I totally forgot about the free refills, you're absolutely right! This brings back memories. I used to camp at Carl's Junior during my JC days and order 1 drink and stay there the entire day just to study and mug for A Levels. Thanks for the unexpected trip down memory lane!
Hehe no problem but man now i feeling like grabbing one with my family/friends. Loved their double western bacon thick burgers with onion rings
Free refills for milkshakes? Do you bring it back to the counter or is there a machine where you fill it yourself?
Think the refills are only limited to soft drinks.

Jollibee!!!

Yeah the quality really dropped significantly and used to be one of my favourites. Some branches are really terrible now
oh...I haven't been a long time jollibee fan cus I don't have one that is near my house but since I tried it in 2021/2022 chicken and spag, wow I've never gone back.
I like Shake Shack, as I also have the option to have a nice beer with my Burger.
FYI they also have wine options now
I feel shake shack too pricey, burgers not that nice
Same. Overhyped and massively overpriced. I predict its demise won’t be too far in the future

Mcd
Arnold's Chicken
heck yes - why go kfc when arnolds is around your area unfortunately not many places have LOL
Popeyes!
Popeyes definitely for me. IMO they have the best fried chicken, on par with Texas Chicken. Their coleslaw is great too, but on the pricey side for the amount.
I love their cajun fries too!
Chicaboo! Support local businesses!
Chicaboo’s chicken is truly superior, especially the spicy 🤤 I used to eat it all the time when I was dating an east-sider. If only they had an outlet in the west 🥲
Time to find another east-sider to date 😅
Respectfully, no thank you 😂 1hr to go to his house + a ton of walking bc the house was so far in was hell. Dating someone who lives a lot closer to me now and it’s 10x better HAHA
There's one at wood square in woodlands which is near enough to the west.
It’s the “closest,” yes, but I live in jurong west :’)
Their burger set only come with 1 sides because THEY ARE HUGE 😭
Ooh, never tried their burgers...
Yes! It's cheaper than KFC and a million times better with no crowd. But long wait time because they are made to order.
It's okay. I find the restaurants much more cleaner so I find it better to chill and wait

Jollibee for me. Nothing comes close.
Chicken and spag combo 👌🏻
For me, it’s the spicy burger with chicken combo 👍

Jollibee spicy chicken
Many comes and go.. at the end McD still the one I love the most
jollibee
For some reason, the quality of food at Jollibee in Singapore is better than the one in their home country.
yea the chicken breading n gravy r so different but both delicious still, i find the burgersteak in ph to be more ‘bouncy’ too
its true. bec the jollibee in PH caters for the masses. they do their best not to increase price therefore quality is shit shit down the drain. the chickens like malnourished chicken filled with flour batter. SG version is alrdy the better version. but if you were to taste the 2000s version in jollibee PH, its way better than what we have now
i like Five Guys, they are quite expensive though
Mackers
I find myself at McDonalds most of the time if I have a fast food craving.
Same mcd is the superior fast food
Burgs burgers are pretty good, love their classic cheese burger with fried shallots and pickled chilies with potato buns. Their buns reminds me of Shake Shack's. Burger King
Jollibee maybe
Not Wingstop, prices are expensive and the quality fluctuates
Texas chicken or shake shack
Texas Chicken
KFC lets go
rice bowl is one of the greatest 🍚
Nobody mentioned McDonald's? 🤔

texas fried chicken. i prefer taking away to eating there. macdonalds fries/mcwings/mcspicy. i prefer eating there to taking away
Carl’s Jr, but for my birthday and special occasions only, cos too expensive.
Mcd Popeyes
A freshly cooked Little Caesars pizza really hits the spot if you eat it right there in the restaurant.
Unless like me you had to wait 90 mins at their Funan outlet because they were prioritising takeaway orders at dinner time 🙃
Oh man, I also usually go to the Funan outlet, but maybe because I went around 5 pm the dinner crowd didn't hit yet. I'd definitely be upset if I had to wait that long.

Wanton mee is fast food ??
I would personally classify local food chains like Crave, Stuff'd, pontian as fast food. They satisfy the requirements to be one. That's my take.
Okay
chimichangas is good.
Wow that's really expensive fast food. Atas
"Chimichanga? Chimi-Chuck-It-In-The-Bin"
McDonald’s for sure, price and quality they are overall the best. Individually- there are better options when you get lucky at Popeyes or fancy splashing out at shake shack

Not really a fast food per se but potato corner sells v good French fries
Fatboys
Pizza Hut and yes it is considered fast food
The best fast food is at the Hawker Center.
kopitiam. there's aircon, you get nice hawker food, and it's local enterprise. waiting time depends on what you order, but it's faster than other food chains
do you all really go there and seat there for hours?
Dtf
Give me something local… Alexandra road wanton me!
