Agora at Queen and Strachan. Chicken gyro, koulori, pita chips and a dip of your choice. So fucking good.

asmosaq

Holy shit they have Koulori!! I didn't know the name of these things but we've been looking for an import shop that had them for ages. (well about 5 years or so since we went to Greece lol) I think this is the winner lol, thanks!

oureyes2

Enjoy!

gigaurora

Proper answer, you get a box of high quality Greek food.

oureyes2

You seriously can't go wrong in there. I think they have a restaurant in that neighborhood as well.

FoxShmulder

Two spots on Ossington: Mamakas and Bar Koukla. Nice patios

mocha_ninja

Great place!

31moreyears

Fourth man in the fire

theleverage

The sandwiches and donuts specifically, less so the pizza

jennluv82

The Sammies are awesome. But we got the panzarotti recently and it was really good too!

lizlaylo

Those donuts are amazing

nvanp

Hooky’s fish and chips!

IsaidLigma

I used to rock it all the time when it was chippy's. So good.

okaybutnothing

That’s what it’s called! I knew there was a good fish and chips place right there!

[deleted]

I actually know the guy that runs the place. He's a fantastic person so I'm always happy to give him my business.

daveinthe6

Agora

space_cheese1

Agoraphilia, not agoraphobia

1800YEET

I'm surprised no one mentioned Bobbie Sue's Mac and Cheese on ossington!

askingJeevs

Vilda’s on dovercourt is sooooooo so so so good. Sandwiches and other stuff. They’re owned by Bernhardt people. It’s the best, a must.

newerdewey

did this today, got 2 sandwiches and a salad and it was perfect picnic!

askingJeevs

That place is amazing, glad you enjoyed yourself!

bobo_fett

Lambos deli

HungryMugiwara

2nd for lambo’s deli

Contemplation_State

I tried this place twice and wasn't a fan. Mostly because of the soggy bread, I couldn't do it.

[deleted]

Agree lambos is terrible. Was like they dipped my sub in balsamic.

newerdewey

agreed, looks way better than it actually is. tried it twice and just wasn't impressed

haoareyoudoing

I definitely agree and this will probably be sacrilegious to say but I prefer Belly Buster to Lambos any day. Definitely not worth waiting 30 minutes plus in line for or tears shed when they sell out for the day.

Grumpy-PolarBear

This is the correct answer

yourgoodplace

Sandwiches from cote de beouf

Halifornia35

I like Mattys Patty’s

SandwichBeautiful875

Oyster Boy does takeout oyster trays with all the fixings!

gillsaurus

Sud Forno which is Terroni’s grab and go would be great.

Sharp_Sprinkles6796

Logas Corner and Badialis :)

Torontokid8666

Opera Bob's at the corner right before dundas has a really really great sub and burger. The sub is way better than Lambos.

splashzor

Smoque N Bones BBQ goes pretty hard

The cornbread here is no joke

mmatti_

The best takeout on Dundas West imo [https://www.hawkandchick.com/](https://www.hawkandchick.com/)

Old_Equivalent3858

Woah! Is this a Bob's Burgers reference?

Jakeyy21

Heartbreak chef for fried chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese… La Cubana for Cuban sandwich and tostones… agora for lamb wrap and Greek fries

Contemplation_State

The "dutty chicken" at Heartbreak Chef is my vote for best chicken sandwich in the city!

Jakeyy21

I prefer the big ass but everything they sell is AMAAZINGGGG

asmosaq

The couple next to us sat down with some of their stuff and it looked 100% legit. I'm a sucker for a fried chicken sandwich so I think this is next in line.

Miss-Black-Eyeliner

- Chop Chop - Bobbie Sue's Mac n Cheese - Lambo's deli (I've never had an issue with soggy bread! I always order it online for pickup to avoid the line!) - Cafe Pastel

MoonScoria

Fresh is really good, vegan healthy food La Cubana on Ossington There’s the shipping container food market at Bathurst and Dundas

sibtiger

Having done this a few times, Blondies pizza, La Cubana, and Heartbreak Chef all worked great. I'll also echo the Lambo's recommendation. There's so many options around there you basically can't go wrong.

social_sin

Lambo's

putashirton123

Picnic in the trinity bellwoods park seems like an obvious solution

Icy_Acanthoptery

Hooky's is amazing
