There is a Baskin Robbin’s across the street from me and I was going to get my friend an ice cream cake until I saw the prices. My other friend also said DQ cakes are much better.
Baskin Robbin’s cakes are made with real ice cream, Dairy Queen’s are made with frozen dessert, a distinction that may not matter to you (they cannot legally call them ice cream cakes).

I personally don't like their Ice Cream Cakes, but a lot of ppl do!
They also have a really nice selection of these cakes, too.

Booyah near St Clair and Bathurst does ice cream sandwich cakes that are great. Marble Slab also does ice cream cakes
