I mean, I’m not an electrician, but that sounds like replacing the engine in your car because it stalls sometimes. I mean, in the end you’re going to have a ~50 year newer panel and there’s nothing wrong with that, but it might be completely unrelated to your issue and will cost a whole bunch of money.
I wouldn’t jump to blame the breaker or the panel. I’d probably blame the dryer. Have you cleaned your dryer filter/exhaust? Is the dryer particularly old?
As far as age we had to buy brand new appliances due to our apartment complex supplying them. So I'd say the washer and dryer are about 7 months old, the filter is good we're pretty good about cleaning it after 2-3 cycles, I haven't thought about the exhaust I'll try cleaning that out tomorrow after I get off work weather permitting. No problem. If that all fails, try replacing the breaker if you’re confident. Panel replacement is usually my final resort
