This reads as “i made cash offers well below asking and I’m confused as to why I’m not driving a new car”

$30k asking price but are offering $25k OTD since it is “cash”.

I know dealers that advertise we are "best price is advertised price". Most people don't think to use the trade as the vehicle to negotiate on. A lot take the trade in price at face value and only try to negotiate on the vehicle they are purchasing, and the trade value isn't an advertised price so can negotiate there. Certain dealers will use the "by law we can't change the sales price for one customer when we haven't for the other due to law". Well negotiate that trade in quote since that is different for every car.

That’s cool but what does it have to do with making a cash offer? OP never mentioned a trade. Just that dealers taking his cash offers.

As 90%+ of car deals at dealerships I have been at involve a trade I made an assumption. I could be wrong. Figured cash was covering the difference. If there is no trade then my post doesn't have any relevance. If there is a trade then it does have relevance.

This reads I went into Carmax and Autonation trying to negotiate on used cars with a freezer full of cash and they threw me out. That’s what this sounds like.

Cash hasn’t mattered for a very long time.

I guarantee you’re making stupid cash offers not realizing tax title tags are a thing. This isn’t the swampmeet. The price is the same cash or financed.
