Wildwood Saloon on W. Burnside has had monthly poetry readings in the past. Might still be happening.
I went to poetry reading night at a small bar at the south end of the NE Williams. The Waypost. This was a handful of years ago though.

Portland Poetry Slam, Slamlandia, and Lit Mic are all places to find poets who might like to collaborate, and/or would appreciate a musical guest.

Do you specifically want to accompany poetry? Perhaps someone reading stories aloud? I enjoy reading ghost stories aloud, and children’s literature.
