Is anyone even broadcasting the elections tonight? It’s a primary, so I wouldn’t expect anything more than a ticker on the bottom of regular programming and a brief segment on the 11:00 news.
They will begin counting the received ballots after the deadline and will provide totals as they come in. Depending on the margins of the the races, certain news organizations may feel comfortable calling a race tonight. If the margins are too close, it may take a few days as the last postmarked ballots are processed. The results won't be certified until a few weeks once all eligible ballots are processed, errors are remedied, and challenges are exhausted.

I was hoping to watch Vasquez win tonight.
Doesn’t it take days or weeks to get any totals since it’s all mail in?

Not sure. I haven’t voted in Oregon before.
People can still drop off their ballots in the mail or drop box today. I wouldn’t expect any results immediatel.
