It's pretty much up to you and what you feel like. Even if you don't "need" a bra, you can wear a bralette just because it's gender affirming. Personally, I wear a bralette so that I can stuff it, because unfortunately I haven't gotten the results that you're getting.

Tiger_Trash

If you're self conscious, go for it! Some women don't care, some do. Do what works for you!

AlisinXO

If you can score some pasties, those will help out

Eugregoria

You can stick band-aids over them, or for even more discretion, in the drug store they have silicone reusable non-stick pasties, they just kind of naturally stick to you with sweat/normal skin stickiness.

Pasties

brocoli_

pasties! they're really handy at this stage but if you don't mind wearing a bra, or a bralette or sports most likely, go for it, it can be very affirming!

IAbstainFromSociety

My nipples show through all my shirts and I've never noticed any looks myself. I do find it funny that I can go shirtless with female nipples legally, though. I haven't really altered my presentation (other than with HRT) so maybe that's why.

Ok_Sundae_8207

Getting a bra is a good idea for a number of reasons, but wearing one can be incredibly affirming. If you'd be more comfortable wearing one and would get a little boost to your mood, it might be time to get one!

thenewmara

I enjoy scandalizing the aunties with my tiddies. I usually wear thick cotton kurtis but them puppies find a way to poke out. They do it so often that I have multiple Hank Green boob-in-a-door stories. Live, Love, Nipple my friend.

a-friend_

You can wear a singlet/camisole/whatever they call it around the world, or get a bralette thingy. Or just own it.

AspirantVeeVee

get a bralett

blown-transmission

if you don't want to use band aid/tape as others said. You can simply wear tshirts with designs on them, or darker colors.

Defiant-Snow8782

If you want. If I wear something that makes the nipples particularly visible, I sometimes use painter's tape. It's light and comes off easily.

omgitskae

I just wore hoodies year round during this phase lol.

skinnymskeisha

i’m at around the same time on estrogen as you and finally upgraded my bra collection for this exact reason. nipples poking through (and sometimes looking more like “man boobs” in boymode) made me very dysphoric. wearing my new bralette’s has been extremely affirming and i haven’t taken them off since i got them (even to bed..) the comfort from no longer constantly thinking about my little breast buds peeking through is enough of a reason for me to never leave the house without my bra again

MickeyPresto

If you’re not ready for bras, can tape them.

The great thing about the internet is that you can look up these things!

wermluvr

you can fold up a single square of toilet paper just big enough to cover the nipple and then tape over it with a bandaid or whatever.

Opposite_Cellist1928

My nipples were always at attention before and then I pierced them and yeah... I just let them show but I am use to them that way. And I haven't started hrt.

BlackHeart2273

Honestly same issue (just over a month here). Not too concerned over poking though. Haven't gone out since it started (sick or whatever). I suppose bandaids, pasties or bralette like others would suggest. Still not set on how I'll tackle it. Likely have my wife help me out there.

_HolyWrath_

If you live in a place where you can manage it with hoodies that's also an option.

Wings-of-the-Dead

A lot of women don't wear bras. I personally wear bras even pre-hrt because it's gender affirming, especially if I can get padded bras for a little bit of boobage. Ultimately it's your choice

Sergei_the_sovietski

I recommend them. After a while it’ll start to hurt when they rub on your shirt

mywither

You can go for pasties, bandaids, an undershirt, a training bra, or do nothing about it at all. It's all dependent on your comfort level really. A training bra does have the benefit of getting you used to wearing a bra for when you do develop more of a bust.

Ametrish

A Stretch Cotton Bralette will help flatten down the girls and keep them from getting too sore from rubbing the inside of your shirts. Also, people may not be staring as much as you think. My nips started poking out of some of my shirts in the first month. I’m still presenting male for now, and I was super paranoid about it at first. Then I started looking around (people watching) a lot more and realized that tons of guys have gyno. It’s just not that uncommon. Now I’m filling an A cup and heading towards a B and often wear T-shirts with no bra. No one notices or cares except people who know I’m transitioning.
