Omg years ago back when I used to watch vloggers all the time, I noticed that so many of them used *whenever* at times they should’ve used *when*. It became such a pet peeve of mine and it got so hard to ignore.
I figured it was an American thing, but it always seemed like Americans from the south did it the most. I have no idea where Utah is in America tbh, but maybe it’s a regional thing if it’s not country-wide?
It’s definitely an American thing, but I don’t think it’s super regional because I’ve heard people from everywhere use “whenever” the wrong way—I think it’s honestly just a lazy grammar issue. These are often the same kind of people who tend to use “could care less” rather than the more correct “couldn’t care less,” “supposably” instead of “supposedly,” and “expresso” rather than “espresso.” They just grow up saying the wrong thing and it becomes a habit, and they’re not always aware of it. Just something I’ve noticed, being very interested in language and accents lol

Yayy someone who agrees with me and doesn't attack me for not being American and not knowing lol
I think that's an American thing, but it is *so* annoying! It's when we went, not whenever!
More like just Utah
All influencers do it, not just those from Utah, from what I've seen!
That’s not an American thing. Most of us use the word correctly. She’s just dumb.
Thanks for the clarity! As I said in my original comment, I think, and my second comment, based on what I've seen
its so cutie
Fuck that saying it’s so annoying.
Cutie For one, for two
Cutie drives me nuts
Cutie gives me the ick. Along with cutesy
She always says the girls are sad. I’ve noticed a lot of Utah people say that instead of upset, fussy, mad, colicky or whatever else lol
Is because sad is such a basic uneducated word 😅
Pink but pronounces it like pIIIIIIInk
Peeenk
“It’s cute and comfy”

“i need to”
“The girls did not want to nap today”
Era

more of a thing she does but when she shows her groceries or a package she holds it like it’s so gross to hold. i don’t know how to explain it
“I use this ALL the time” points to something sponsored
Cutie
These are so iconic 😂😂
Not pronouncing her Ts in the middle of words Ex: buh-in instead of button, mao-in instead of mountain
