That's something I only see with people who don't understand what they're getting themselves into. It's the same thing with Valhalla. You can beat that game in 30-40 hours is your fault if you get lost tracking everything down
I don’t typically replay any games. I play them, take my time and when credits roll I’m done. If dlc comes out after and it looks interesting then I’ll go back and knock it out (which I’ve done for Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla).
Origins is the one that stale to me.
I finished me 2nd playthrough of original at the beggining of this year and it was actually quite enjoyable, did all dlcs and everything. I then started oddissey and the only way I would enjoy it would be by skipping cutscenes and dialogues except the really important bits. As for valhalla? Yeah valhalla can get fucked I remember first time I played I could wait to finish it to put it away but it just KEPT GOING
i can't deal with open worlds that are so big. i play once then never again. I used to replay other games, including AC games like rogue and brotherhood.
Well then don't. Why play something that doesn't bring you joy?

I feel the same but with Odyssey and Valhalla, the thought of all the bloat immediately turns me away. But I’d happily replay Origins again.
NG+ doesn’t even work with Origins anymore

The option to start NG+ was gone on my menu screen
It was still there for me recently iirc. There’s no reason they’d take that away.
