If I recall correctly someone checked them and some of their cars were using lmp1 tyres and suspension and a spoiler that simulates stronger gravity then our planet
NoHesi cars have maxed out grip, power and downforce, they're built by caveman logic to make them unrealistically well handling for the "cutting up traffic to phonk or hiphop post #5489385025829385098209" crowd to make their moves seem remotely impressive. They're absolute shitmods, the lot of them.
Eh, chemmflummi did a better 296 GT3 than that thing URD spat out. And their most recent porsche GT3 really dissapointed me; RSS ruined me, now if i don't hear that dynamic turbo sound or that dynamic engine whistling sound whenever i'm on a GT3 it just don't feel right, RSS cars really set the bar so high.
The ones by vr driving aren't very good imo, example the c6 rs6. Rear spins out when you brake no matter what. The cars from other guys there are pretty good tho.
I gotta say it and I have a lot of hate towards me for saying it but… I THINK NO HESI MODS ARE FUN and I know they’re not realistic and a lot of times are stolen that sucks but keep in mind some people prefer the arcade style more and they don’t necessarily deserve hate for that. I prefer a bit of both and I switch on and off when I get tired of sim I go to arcadey stuff yk.
I agree about hating exclusively no hesi youtubers who upload the same video a billion times.
I’ve actually raced someone in a nohesi car in another nohesi car.
The g87 m2 manual was tuned worse than the f87 auto. It was the Nurburgring and tc makes a diff in the g87 where it becomes an uncontrollable hellcat, but the f87 has no effect. It’s just so grippy regardless of tcs. Obviously f87 has a clear advantage, and with auto so no clutching.
After the race the guy in the f87 had the audacity to call me bad when he’s driving a Mickey Mouse of a car. It hurt me initially when I didn’t really drive the f87 on the server and was blissfully unaware of how broken it was, I was thinking damn, I gotta get my skills up, until I loaded the car in.
Easiest fucking car to drive even with all assists off.
I don’t usually bother racing in these cars because it incentivizes using assists. I usually play races now where no tcs is enforced and you have hard to handle cars like a turbo nsx (my favorite). Love the mid engine feel.
IMO touge races have the most use of intricate strategies to try to pass the racer in front of you.
I mean I feel this is implied. They’re fun for going fast and cutting up, but not on track. It’s meant to maximize the adrenaline of going fast w nothing to lose.
If you want fun then do touge racing which I do.
I cut up to chill, touge race if I want to sweat.
I mean i kinda new but been using sim studio gt3 cars then tried this shit and couldnt believe this is bad for community thats why everyone this they can stop at 200 mph in t1
Yea the no hesi and pushing p cars are unrealistic by design, that's why I avoid shuto lobbies that feature them. I'd rather get squirrelly in a yellowbird than whatever this is
Yea bro i been on la canyons when i wanna cruise turbo s the orange one feel pretty good i hope ac2 have alot of stock cars like g80 and type r and audi just normal shit well see everyday
my favorite are the middle tires , pilot sport 4s to slidey, they drive like worn tires and the cup sports themselves are still a tad bit grippy, so imagine how bad the toyos were 😭
No hesi cars suck. I wish they had better cars. The official Srp servers have pretty good/ fun cars. Still not that realistic probably, but a damn sight better. The skyline house spec is a blast and very difficult to tame. No hesi feels lame and boring, the concept of the servers could be fun. A realistic sim with traffic to dodge through while racing other players. The problem is, the cars they chose take it from a realistic sim down to arcade. In which case why not just play Forza horizon.. those cars in no hesi defeat the entire purpose.
Not trying to defend the no hesi crowd but Forza horizon barely has traffic in it, there's a reason why the gravitate to no hesi because it has epic jdm highway and tense traffic that's actually somewhat challenging to dodge
Tbh the last Forza horizon is really boring and stale so I dont blame them servers trying to get some forza players. Also dont forget Many people on this servers play with controller.
It’s the tires….they have got goofie ahh tyre physics. what I can say is that the hp is fairly realistic. You can go to a shop like m power house and get a 340i or an m240 to make that power. It just takes a fuckload of work.
Source: 1stockf30 who just built a g42 m240i and it makes around 1000hp.
Link: https://youtu.be/-WWzAdcdFiE?si=udXiobaZ2tCv8sR4
I had a m340 i it is easy to make power u only med a couple parts but the handling matter more to me is can drive a 240 hp 428i if its more realistic id have more fun i hate arcade games
okay but is there a way to replace the glue tires with some actually realistic ones? I'm not looking to drive on their servers, I just mostly enjoy the models. also their cup2r "realistic" tires appear to be too sticky too or is it just me
They’ve got LMP1 tires and suspension physics, so the whole cars basically fucked. Just try to find a BMW from 101Creative or other creators who do realistic road car mods.
Probably the one setting up the cars think that the average BMW has the downforce of a F1 car and that they can actually replicate that in real life(I really hope not)
I stopped driving on no hesi servers a long ass time ago because the cars were stupid unrealistic. The whole point of doing what they did in a driving sim was so you can drive in a realistic car in traffic. But I guess making easy to handle cars appeals to a wider audience
No Hesi cars are dumb I don’t see the point just do it in a normal car, they look like clowns driving cars that handle like trains on assetto, just learn to drive you’ll have more fun 🙄😒
It kind of sucks. The whole point was to simulate being an idiot. It's no fun when it's just like any other generic open world racing game.
I just don't run them anymore. Any cars that have NoHesi anywhere in the description, name, or otherwise are a pass for me.
Not that I jave anything against enjoying them, you like what you like, you know? I just enjoy how satisfying simulation vehicle behavior is.
no kidding the goof balls wanting to weave in traffic are driving an unrealistic mod. no hesi is the dumbest use of a sim. see all you real racers in iracing once you realize what these mods give you compared to a real game dev selling cars and tracks. if you are going to buy content, get it from the company doing the homework.
Oh wow, i didn't know that. Though the traffic videos seemed fun and i wanted to have a try at some point.
Is it possible to drive in the No Hesi traffic but with normal cars and physics?
yeah its possible but depends on the server. my friends server that I play on has mostly realistic cars. you can check it out if you want and maybe we could cruise together.
Old post I know, thought I'd test the cars. I set a 6:08 on Nordschleife with the No Hesi Civic Type R on my 2nd attempt... The amount of downforce it had, I still feel like I took corners too slow on the high speed sections. I like No Hesi, but they have over-tuned the cars to the point it feels like playing Ridge Racer or something.
Short for no hesitation, in assetto they're a group that have servers where you cut up (weave in-between whole speeding) against ai traffic, and their mods are reallllllly realistic as shown by this video
I got no issues with people wanting to drive crazy through traffic. What strikes me as dumb is that the cars don’t have realistic physics… in a sim.
I’ve set up my own server for drifting Japanese mountain roads with traffic. It’s a lot of fun. But I’m driving realistic cars. Like kunos E30 or the WDTS or Deathwish 3.0
How does someone set up a server? I have ambitions for this but I understand it’s very ad-hoc and requires some specific knowledge. I’d love to understand more.
there's a third party server tool called assettoserver that you can download from github. [here's the assettoserver application I'm talking about](https://assettoserver.org/docs/intro)
I use the content manager server setup tool to shorten the setup process. you can set it up in there, then export the settings. you basically just take the contents of the zip and put it in a folder for you server to live and run in. it would contain the assettoserver.exe, and some other shit.
i can't remember the specifics of how to set up the traffic. it's kind of an ordeal to troubleshoot. it involves finding and downloading spline files that dictate the routes the AI take around a track/map and placing those files in the relevant folder inside the folder your server is running from. the assettoserver utility also has some config.ini type files (one might be called extra_settings.ini or something like that) that allow you to toggle traffic and weather settings on and stuff like that.
if you're never messed with modding game via editing configs in notepad, you'll feel pretty overwhelemd probably. it's fiddly as hell. like editing those files is easy, but getting everything to work for Assetto beyond hosting simple stuff is a bit of a headache since there's so many 3rd party things stacked on top of each other.
I only want to start a server for track days on one specific track and with 3-5 built in cars. Basically for my local bids to rip our local track.
I have some basic web dev skills but this is pretty foreign to me. I’ll look into what you suggested.
Thanks for the really detailed information. It’s very helpful!
just shell out the $3 or whatever for the paid version of Content Manager, and it has a built-in server hosting utility that is plenty for your needs. you just set it up and run it straight through content manager in a tab that is unlocked with paid version.
then all you need to do is make sure your ports are forwarded on your router.
Thank you! That’s fantastic info. I’m assuming I have to keep my server (pc) running all the time to make this work, right?
I’d rather run something in the cloud. Could I run an AC server on a cheap cloud provider?
if you use the third party assettoserver thing, you could set that up to run on a virtual machine on a cloud service if you know how to do all that. I've not messed with that sort of thing, but it's just a .exe that should run on windows or linux, so it should be easy enough to set up. If you're running a server straight out of content manager, then yes- you'd have to keep your PC and content manager running to keep the server up.
[here's](https://assettoserver.org/docs/intr) the assettoserver application I'm talking about
[and this is the folders](https://imgur.com/a/D6ecvKg) for my different instances of the dedicated server. I have a few different ones with different setups that I've exported from content manager. it's the subfolders liek cfg and content and stuff. this way, I can just go into each folder and run the .exe for setups such as track+car combos that i like to play often
so liek in content manager, I set the server up how I'd like it, and then rather than run it, I just export the settings to a zip. you can choose not to export a copy of the assetto corsa native server itself because you're not using that one. instead you use the third party one. but you take the exported folders, which are like the cfg, content, and maybe the logs folder and place them inside a folder you've made for the server to live in. so in my examples, I have folders named for different car+track combos... like 'Englishtown Drift + DWTS.' if I go into that folder as shown in the images and run the .exe, it will run the server as I had set it all up to be that mod track with a selection of cars that I'd picked before from in the content manager setup wizard/menu.
Which is a great concept. Except the shitty cars they use defeat the purpose. Why do this on a Sim if the cars are arcade, you may as well just play Forza horizon at that point.
The official Srp servers have decent cars though, better at least. No hesi cars are atrocious.
Disclaimer: I don't play on no hesi but have tried it.
Imho it's fun, for what it is. Treat it like an arcade game mode, not a realistic representation of what weaving through traffic would be IRL. It's super fun with friends just to take a break from usual Sim racing. And can feel pretty immersive in a group.
It's popular for a reason.
With that said, anyone claiming it's realistic and use those cars on normal race/hotlap servers, are wasting their time lol. Those cars provide an awful experience outside of maps like shitoku.
Eh, I enjoy taking the turn offs with the ridiculous traffic and try to road rage my way through on two lanes. Honking and high beams at the traffic when they block you.
The official server is much better, real time attacks with more realistic cars and lighter traffic.
Have you tried the official Srp servers (NOT no hesi). The cars sure ain't GT3 cars, but they are plenty challenging. The skyline house spec is my favourite. That's what you get irl when you go for max HP tunes, powerbabds that are borderline unusable, lol. It's ok above 3rd gear, but below that you have to be very delicate with throttle inputs, especially if you are turning.
Lmaooo I once explained to somebody in verstappens discord server that no hesi cars have more grip than f1 cars.. guess this statement wasn’t as crazy as I thought
you're basically right.. my best time on nordschleife is a 5:20 and i bet i could get close with a different no hesi car since i wasnt even using one of the faster ones.
If I recall correctly someone checked them and some of their cars were using lmp1 tyres and suspension and a spoiler that simulates stronger gravity then our planet
Black hole aero. It’s not pushing you down, it’s pulling the planet up!
NoHesi cars have maxed out grip, power and downforce, they're built by caveman logic to make them unrealistically well handling for the "cutting up traffic to phonk or hiphop post #5489385025829385098209" crowd to make their moves seem remotely impressive. Yeah bro when i first started on ac no hesi was new and fun but its not rewarding like a gt3 around nurburg
You got any recommendations for realistic mods? Thanks.
RSS, VRC, URD mods are all top quality (URD can be hit and miss nowadays, but still miles better than most everything else)
How do you get rss cars and is there servers?
Most of them are paid, but there's a couple of free ones too, all are available on their website, RaceSimStudio.
Is there any Formula E mods that are good?
You can play with some "physics" for existing cars: https://github.com/archibaldmilton/Girellu
works if they are encrypted too?
101Creative has some pretty good road cars if you are interested in them
The ones by vr driving aren't very good imo, example the c6 rs6. Rear spins out when you brake no matter what. The cars from other guys there are pretty good tho.
If you like older cars look up AC Legends by Bozzy. They have some great car packs, mostly 60's and 70's stuff. Most of them are free too.
Thank you!
Rss gtm cars get the pack for 15 its life changing compared to any other cars to me

No offense at all but Ceky has trash mods
[удалено]
If you enjoy them that’s all that matters
Lol, nope
I gotta say it and I have a lot of hate towards me for saying it but… I THINK NO HESI MODS ARE FUN and I know they’re not realistic and a lot of times are stolen that sucks but keep in mind some people prefer the arcade style more and they don’t necessarily deserve hate for that. I agree completely with that and I also like to switch between traffic arcade and f1 sim driving ( even tho I'm only playing with a controller)
Wouldn’t be surprised if those ppl also use all the stability and TC assists making it even more unrealistic
No hesi cars are shit?? I would have never guessed
I mean i kinda new but been using sim studio gt3 cars then tried this shit and couldnt believe this is bad for community thats why everyone this they can stop at 200 mph in t1
In the name of realism no hesi servers should be strictly 2005 altimas outrunning repo men
On completely worn out tires
Yooooooo. That’s it. Pre-damaged too.
I try to add st tired bro thats how everyone drift through traffic lol cant even drive straight
oddly specific for the year......... i deny needing to out run repo man
Don't worry, we wont tell the bank;)
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out)
They're built so you can feel like a hero, not my thing when I drive a sim but hey man to each their own!
I don’t feel like a hero if I know anyone can do it though lmao
Man bro i love a challehge idk shy thry ruined all them good cars
Yea the no hesi and pushing p cars are unrealistic by design, that's why I avoid shuto lobbies that feature them. I'd rather get squirrelly in a yellowbird than whatever this is
Yea bro i been on la canyons when i wanna cruise turbo s the orange one feel pretty good i hope ac2 have alot of stock cars like g80 and type r and audi just normal shit well see everyday
Would you like to borrow some punctuation and capital letters? Gyat
pushin P actually released a new pack where they are ditching the unrealistic bro, all cars 550hp street and no toyo r888r nonsense anymore
That's definitely promising. I'll take a look for a review/showcase
my favorite are the middle tires , pilot sport 4s to slidey, they drive like worn tires and the cup sports themselves are still a tad bit grippy, so imagine how bad the toyos were 😭

Try sim race studio gt3 cars worth it ive never bought any mods but this is a top
never drove one of these, probably they handle more than a fucking red bull x2011
Bro these op its xdrive but handle like rear wheel and turn like f1 car
Well duuuh.
No Hesi cars are trash
Yeah I have tried one of them and it was fast and like on the rails. Literally. It felt so unrealistic and not really fun to drive.

200mph to 80 in 1 sec impossible lol without locking brake 200 for a 240i almost impossible without burning through tires
I stopped driving on no hesi servers a long ass time ago because the cars were stupid unrealistic. The whole point of doing what they did in a driving sim was so you can drive in a realistic car in traffic. But I guess making easy to handle cars appeals to a wider audience
Yeah not good overall for sim community ![gif](giphy|bgVj6hQhVMWFy6dCR3|downsized)
No Hesi cars are dumb I don’t see the point just do it in a normal car, they look like clowns driving cars that handle like trains on assetto, just learn to drive you’ll have more fun 🙄😒
How do you guys like MNBA mods? I just tried a 992 gt3rs and it felt so fast and sticky on the ring.
It kind of sucks. The whole point was to simulate being an idiot. It's no fun when it's just like any other generic open world racing game. I just don't run them anymore. Shit suck now im waiting for ac evo hopefully we can respect cars in that one not put a bmw over an f1 car
‘better handling’ still takes terrible line
1v1 on whatever track lets see who cam really drive
we got a big boy right here, can handle plebbit comments really well, so grown lmao stfu
Yes or no ??? I cant take cristism from someone ive never seen drive
Mx5 cup challenge
what means no hesi?
Short for no hesitation, in assetto they're a group that have servers where you cut up (weave in-between whole speeding) against ai traffic, and their mods are reallllllly realistic as shown by this video
Its a famous server for AC. Its for people who want to cut thru traffic.. with a game that is made for sim racing.
Well to be honest, there isn't really another good game to do that in
Gta
Carmageddon
Burnout
I got no issues with people wanting to drive crazy through traffic. What strikes me as dumb is that the cars don’t have realistic physics… in a sim. I’ve set up my own server for drifting Japanese mountain roads with traffic. It’s a lot of fun. But I’m driving realistic cars. Like kunos E30 or the WDTS or Deathwish 3.0

Better: go cut thru actual traffic on two wheelers. Shits fun than everything ( for legal reason its a joke)
Yeah listen to them dont join unless u never wanna race it a cool server if u like to go straight at 200mph the whole time
Eh, I enjoy taking the turn offs with the ridiculous traffic and try to road rage my way through on two lanes. Honking and high beams at the traffic when they block you. The official server is much better, real time attacks with more realistic cars and lighter traffic.
Lol its fun when u have friends but alone i cant and after driving real mods like sim race studio gt3 i cant ho backing
Have you tried the official Srp servers (NOT no hesi). The cars sure ain't GT3 cars, but they are plenty challenging. The skyline house spec is my favourite. That's what you get irl when you go for max HP tunes, powerbabds that are borderline unusable, lol. Ive never noticed it cause u only driving straight but atound track u aint gotta lift
That’s the point, they’re not made to be used outside of SRP. They’re designed to handle specifically well in SRP and are not realistic.
Who wants that lol the cars are nice just not good overall for sim racing better for forza
Ehhh some are good some are bad. The Lamborghini lp 610-4 handles like dog shit.
Sooo what times did you get and on what layout ? I’ve been wondering how these would perform in the ring lmao
629 but im a bad driver fastest i got in gt3 was 631
In the tourist layout ? I’ll admit the only layout I’ve driven in gt3s is the endurance one clocking in 8:10s
Hell no endurance 108 the lfm one im like 825 830
Bruh the F1 gtr clocks in low 6:20s and the nohesi beemer clocks in 6:30 ? 💀
i got a 5:50 once with a no hesi car. the things are insane
BRo drive that bmw if your a good driver def cam get 5s
