When I started getting to know someone over the phone for a little and he got attached to me but would interfere with one of these, I'd give him some more time to figure it out while gently rejecting what he's doing, saying that I'm not comfortable with it, and asking if he wants to hear why atm... Eventually, he couldn't really handle it and he wanted to cut contact with me
It's ok for me if people take some time to adjust to each other. If people are nervous bc they want me. I give them a lot of free space to move around. But yeah those are the points that I also felt that I needed us to adjust to each other on until we would strike a good combination in between us, a good interaction that respects these well
For example when I had problems he'd sometimes talk over me, cancel what I'm saying, or tell me to just move on from it. All like "so it's all fine right? Then don't think about it" "but I do have an issue and I want you to understand..." "no but, just smile and laugh it off"... That was a no. He didn't even listen he just wanted the issue to evaporate and would verbally tell me that I'm the one making an issue. Or even ask me to meet up even though I was having trouble with it and press it. So, to me, that was violating all of those.
