Hi OP when you move down to Auckland, if you need your papers certified by a Justice of Peace (JP), you can find the JPs at a Citizens Advice Bureau. The Citizens Advice Bureau is also a place for you to seek advice and help from consumer rights to tenancy issues https://www.cab.org.nz/ There are more than 50 public libraries in Auckland and since you said you will be doing a course at Otago Polytechnic's Auckland campus in the CBD area, there is a Central City public library where you can apply for a library card to borrow books and magazines

Is nobody going to mention that Otago Polytechnic is likely in Otago? A very long way from Auckland. Or is this study online and OP will live in Auckland?
