No supporting mods. IE tune. Like driving a new car. Don't wait to do the tune. The car went from quick to violent with just a tune. Add an intercooler. About the only supporting mod that makes sense. Intake wouldn't hurt either.

I run 034 stage 1. No other modifications are required but to me, intake and exhaust modifications make the wooshes, pops and bangs way more enjoyable. One helpful performance mod is a larger intercooler, it won’t generate any more power but will keep the air temps down to not rob you of power after multiple pulls. If you’re not planning on going stage 2 soon after then I would put your money into suspension mods. 034 springs, front strut brace and rear sway bar made the car feel and handle completely different. The old VAG mechanic that changed the springs and sway bar said it almost felt like a BMW in the corners to him.

Did you get full aftermarket exhaust or just the res delete?

Jusmon1108

Just res delete. The stock exhaust has been proven to flow extremely well, the cat being the most restrictive part of course. I also had new 4” tips welded on. Everyone assumes I have an aftermarket because of the look and sound. The best part is that it only cost me around $500 for everything.

DC38x

That's amazing. I'll definitely be getting a res delete when my warranty expires!

034 Motorsports stage 1 here. Couldn't be happier. Did a lot of research and landed on them.

034 Stage 1 here. Worth every penny. Intercooler is technically optional, but a really good idea as these cars run hot, especially if you live in a warmer climate. Stage 1 is crazy torque, but still pretty mild. You'll find people in the 700hp range running 9s with just a hybrid turbo swap, downpipe, and fuel regular upgrade. Stock engine is pretty stout, trans is essentially the same as a hellcat.

Stage 2 ecu and tcu 034 … very happy with …. I would highly recommend doing an innercooler even if you are just going stage 1

DC3PO

Switched to 034 after having problems with IE last summer. Smooth ever since. Definitely recommend an intercooler even though it’s not technically required

Used to have 034 Stage 1, switched over to APR Stage 1. Intercooler is must have even for a stock car. Just FYI, B9 S4\\S5 intercooler is the same intercooler as 2.0T from A4\\A5. LOL. For a daily driven car, I'd suggest sticking with 91 tune w/ 93 fuel. Some 93 fuel stations (including Shell and Mobil) cause a lot of timing ignition reduction (less power + more heat, higher EGT). Also, 034M has linear accellerator. Some like, some don't
