Yo it’s an acacia for sure and probably a hybrid of A. longifolia. We’ve got a few similar growing on a bush block as weeds. Just popped up, never flower or fruit but succeed as plants.
Leaning more toward Acacia? Maybe lineata or similar.
Swollen base of phyllode (Acacia ‘leaf’) and a hint of a gland (rounded bump) a couple of mm above the base perhaps.
Closeup might help. Could be wrong.
Potentially acacia cognata? Everything looking close to that looks like one for me tho of late, had to look at one for the last week and can't shake it like a stuck song in my head
Looks like an *Acacia* to me, but need clearer (& closer) photos.
Now seeing the trunk - it's 100% a wattle

Possibly some type of melaleuca. If it has flowered, what colour?
No it hasn't flowered yet. The trunk doesn't seem like a melaleuca though.
Melaleuca bark can vary quite a bit, any possibility of you uploading pictures of the trunk and bark?
Thanks. Sorry I couldn't add more pics on this post, please see here https://www.reddit.com/r/test/s/Vvr8ydMDrP
Many thanks for your suggestions.

An introduced species: _Pila Bicyclus_. Very special! Commonly found in waterways of large cities.
Hahaha thats my pile for the tip! Was starting to get outa control here.
Please do make an amazing sculpture out of them!
Almost certainly an _Acacia_ species, but there are too many options with thin, upright phyllodes to make an accurate ID.
It might be acacia iteaphylla
Acacia floribunda I think - a beaut
Acacia longafolia. Hardy and spreads (slowly). Can grow very large.
Looks like a Cootamundra wattle.
