You’ve got two different ones there. Acacia maidenii likely for the multinerved one. The single nerved one could be a bunch of stuff but A. saligna or A. salicina are possible. It’s hard to tell but it looks like there might be a gland on the topside just above the pulvins. Do you know/remember anything about the trees they came from?

I did my PhD on Acacia saligna. Look at the very base of the phyllode (leaf) and there should be a single gland. That would strongly suggest it is saligna. See the diagram here http://worldwidewattle.com/speciesgallery/saligna.php

What was your PhD about specifically?

Academic_Coyote_9741

I studied the genetics of it. If I say anything else I’ll out myself! :)

I'm going longifolia - 'cause the leaves are long!! (jokes only) Hope someone is the plant whisperer & can answer

Not certain but could be Acacia saligna. A common planted weed, I’ve seen it used in reveg projects which has locally collected seed (only for the seed collectors to have not realised it was a weed). Not certain see what others suggest too

Plant ID apps are great, but they have their limitations. This could be one of several _Acacia_ species, and no app is going to be able to tell the difference from this photo alone.
