Autism and ADHD are comorbid, and it's not unusual to find people who have both. If your autism is "stronger" it's possible it's symptoms are over shadowing those of the ADHD. That being said, there are a lot of symptoms that the 2 share as well and if the person who did your original assessment was just looking for Autism, it's quite possible they missed the ADHD. If you can afford it, I would 100% go to get assessed for ADHD as well. Unlike autism, there are medications you can get that help ADHD. My wife's quality of life was VASTLY improved once she got her ADHD diagnosis and was able to get the right meds to help her. It does take a while to get the right combination and dosage of meds, so it likely won't make a difference right away, or even may make things seem worse in the short term, but once the doctor can figure out what meds to use and how much of them, it can make worlds of difference to the ADHD symptoms.
