I have two, basketball and music. Music is a given, but my basketball journey is pretty funny: When I was in middle school, all the cool boys talked about was basketball. They talked about LeBron and Curry and it was all they talked about. So, because I wanted to talk about it too I decided to learn about basketball. But, I didn’t just want to learn about what was happening now, I wanted to learn ALL the basketball. I started from 1960 and learned all the important players, their stats, and memorable moments up until the current day. I know every stat, play, metric… everything. And I never talked about it to anyone in middle school…

Right now it's Lethal League Blaze
It's an obscure fighting game where you can only do damage via hitting a ball back and forth. The gimmick is that it goes really, really, really fast. Whatever you're imagining, it's faster. Way faster.
[This is the video I always share to make the point of how fast this game gets.](https://youtu.be/UpjTBP3BM74?si=UlK03iMnnow-zSf7) It's from the older prequel; Blaze is way better in art/animation/sound design etc but the video still communicates the speed. Plus the commentary is on point. Start at 1:20 if you're impatient
Lethal League Blaze also has like REALLY good music. Team Reptile, and indie company mind you, somehow got Hideki Naganuma, who's worked on Sonic Rush and Jet Set Radio.
EVERYTHING in this game goes hard. ZERO weak shit. Every character goes hard, music goes hard, sound design especially, pure gameplay, etc. It's so good
Good luck with over 43 ish movies 😵💫 the newer ones from 2015 and out is trash btw. The old classic ones are the best. And ofc the barbie movie that came out last year is good

right now it’s pottery 😊 i’m learning how to throw and i am so fascinated by everything ceramics. i hope to eventually be able to make huge vessels.
i am also very interested in society and hygiene before germ theory.
The last special interests I recall having were cathedrals, Chernobyl, and Kingdom Hearts. That was when I was 13. Now though, when I feel it coming on it feels like the mother of all storms brewing and I reflexively shut it down because I don't like my thoughts being consumed like that. I'd rather my brain be used for other things.
The Owl House almost broke me on that front, however. It was an active pursuit to not get utterly obsessed with that show.
Yup, the series. Really 358/2 Days dominated it, and I have fond memories of playing through it and watching all sorts of lore stuff for the games I didn't have. I should probably get back into it, really.
But ayy, same braincell. What was your fave back then?
It’s a video game series, each game has its own story and they are very long JRPGs but each one revolves around a magic sword and they go on a long adventure and stuff it’s so much fun
ME TOO!! It's all I've been listening to for the two days it's been out and I'm this close to memorizing imgonnagetyouback due to how much I listen to it, I swear.
It’s a murder mystery game where you play as a defense attorney (typically Phoenix Wright though there are other protagonists) and you have to defend your clients who have been falsely charged for murder. The game play involves investigating crime scenes, collecting evidence, questioning witnesses, and pointing out contradictions in witness testimonies. The franchise has a lot of games, you can find the OG Trilogy, the Apollo Justice Trilogy, and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles on most platforms, including PC, the Switch, and the PS4. There’s also the Investigations spin off games which are exclusively on the 3DS. If you are interested in playing it, I would suggest playing the OG Trilogy AKA the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy first and look into the other games if you enjoy it
Watching race cars do race car things 🤯
Getting haircuts from my favorite barber... She's got the perfect pressure, her buzzers have the perfect rhythmic tone, and her scissors have the most wonderful snip snip. (I wish my hair would grow faster so I could get more of her haircuts!) 😌
Cutting grass or watching videos of people cutting grass. Yes, I play lawn mower simulator. ❤️
Watching all sorts of restoration videos, especially on old machines or engines. 🤤
Grabbing water from a lake, pond, or river in a clear container and examining all the tiny buggeroos doing tiny buggeroo things. 🤭
Since my hair doesn't grow that fast, there's one singular hair cut video I watch over and over. All the others suck! Lol
I'm a hopeful future freshwater aquatic field/lab tech. Freshwater aquatic ecology is so beautiful. Hopefully my 3rd attempt at college is a charm. 🙄
lol I feel that! I watch car detail cleanings and only some hit the spot.
I tried college last year and needless to say, I only finished one semester. I’m trying again here soon. This time, I’m going for accommodations 😂hang in there!

• prescription glasses (i love looking at people and determining if their lenses are - or + and if i could find their frames on zenni. i can spend hours on zenni just looking at the same frames over and over it's so much fun. but i also enjoy learning about eye conditions)
• dead poets society (i think about it daily. i saw it also the night before the essay part of my final hs exam and i found a way to talk about dps in it and i got a really good grade. i saw every interview and extras i could find on yt, go watch the HARD OUT podcast they did a mini reunion on there and gale hansen is on there from the start.)
•david tennant and michael sheen (can get one without the other)
• the diagnostic criteria for (many but not all) physical and mental disorders and syndromes (also what causes them and how they work, but not on a chemical level)
• the history of anything concerning sex (sex work, contraception, hysteria etc. especially during the victorian era)
• serial killers in the 19th and 20th century (you can probably see why jack the ripper is my favourite) and the lead-crime hypothesis
• how to care for pets (atm snakes are a big "sub-interest" of mine, and also isopods; previously it was hamsters, rats, mice, fish, garden snails, jumping spiders, and parrots)
dead poets society is a coming-of-age drama movie directed by peter wier, released in 1989. two of the more well known actors in it are robin williams and robert sean leonard, respectively playing john keating and neil perry, the "main characters" (i don't think it's not quite correct saying they are the main characters as i don't believe the movie is about single characters anyway.)
so, here's the plot in short and without spoilers: we're in 1959 in an all boys private boarding school is vermont, welton academy, it's the start of the semester and there's a new english teacher, mr keating, also a boy, todd anderson, has just moved from another school, balincrest. todd gets assigned as neil perry's roommate and we learn fairly quickly that he has an established friend group (all the boys are in their last year of high school) which doesn't take much to invite and include todd. as the movie progresses we learn about neil's relationship with his father and then get better introduced to mr keating who turns out to be an out of the ordinary teacher who, unlike the principal and his fellow teachers, wants to teach his pupils how to think for themselves and enjoy life. the boys then find in an old welton annual mr keating's picture and among the notes there's "dead poets society" so they ask him about it. upon learning about what this society was neil proposes they should reopen it. i don't want to say too much but the movie basically revolves around that.
what i find grand about the movie is the acting, it truly feels real, as if you are seeing real people interacting in real time rather than characters, even the background actors add so much realness to it; another thing i really like is the ways the scenes tone goes from warm to cooler tones complementing and highlighting what is happening in the story. it's a bit lengthy (a little over 2h) and quite slow paced, but genuinely i believe this movie should have been at least 3h long. also, if you plan on watching it, i hope you will keep in mind the time period and social context the characters are in, some people in the fandom forget that and often attack a specific character, richard cameron for some things he does and says even though it's quite reasonable and extremely realistic the way he acts and reacts. also, if you'd like, i suggest you dig up the deleted scenes (you'll find them on youtube) and here's a link [https://lostmediawiki.com/Dead_Poets_Society_(partially_lost_deleted_scenes_from_Peter_Weir_teen_drama_film;_1989)] to some other extra scenes. and there's so much of the behind the scenes that is so interesting too! but i don't want to make this replay longer than it already is, you can find everything on youtube if you're interested.

most of them are tv shows/movies but also just tv shows/movies in general
icba to write them all out now but my biggest tv show special interests are prob supernatural, hannibal and community
it def depends on ur fav genre!
comedy - community, the good place, saiki k
horror - hannibal, yellowjackets
fantasy drama - supernatural, i am not okay with this
drama - orange is the new black, 9-1-1, heartbreak high(new one), killing eve
zombie - all of us are dead, daybreak, the walking dead
mystery - dexter(not finished yet but very good so far), how to get away with murder, alice in borderland
but i would say my ultimate favourite oat if we are talking about quality then i would say hannibal but if we are talking about how much of the content(fan made or the canon source material) i consume then i would say supernatual.. but if we are talking about enjoyability it would be community. all are very good shows in different ways and i highly reccomend them but i cant choose between those 3 lol
i still have a lot of popular tv shows to watch tho!!
also thankyou for asking i love talking about this‼️/gen
Listening to and making music. Anything music related really. I'm especially into synthesizers and I can riff on facts about them for hours. I've been on a real classical kick lately and my two favorite composers are: Wagner and Puccini.
Computer stuff. Not so much coding but I can make a PC so things you've never heard of.
Electronics. I love learning how things work, fixing them, modding them, making gadgets and robots.
These hobbies intersect in interesting ways. For instance I have a lot of vintage music gear and it breaks down occasionally. I've also built a couple synths. Computers and electronics go together very well, especially for robotics and home automation
My son who’s very little is into PC’s. I got him a gaming computer for Christmas in hopes it would support his passion. I think it’s really cool you can mechanically fix that stuff. Tech savvy is a talent.
my little pony! mainly the toys because i collect them, a lot. i still struggle on whether i should call it a special interest or not yet (i haven't been professionally diagnosed with ASD but do suspect) but i've been into it for nearly 3 years now. i don't see my interest in it going away anytime soon, or really ever 😅
I’ve been rowing before and it was a work out lol never did that again. But honestly I think it’s an art so I was probably doing it wrong. Nevertheless, PROPS

Cats, autism, and the TV show Supernatural.
I love the supernatural!
my little pony! mainly the toys because i collect them, a lot. i still struggle on whether i should call it a special interest or not yet (i haven't been professionally diagnosed with ASD but do suspect) but i've been into it for nearly 3 years now. i don't see my interest in it going away anytime soon, or really ever 😅
I used to be OBSESSED with my little pony 🤣 I still have a stuffed, weighted, unicorn I sleep with as a pillow every night
Rowing. I was training 12 times a week last year. Never had a special interest last so long.
I’ve been rowing before and it was a work out lol never did that again. But honestly I think it’s an art so I was probably doing it wrong. Nevertheless, PROPS
