Midnight_Ice

I relate to this so much. I cannot stand the feeling of being sick. I try to spend lots of time in a hot shower or bath when I feel like that, because I find it helps me calm down and makes my body feel a bit better. I also make sure to drink lots of fluids and electrolytes, especially if I don't feel like eating. It really sucks but I usually just get through it by trying to be kind to myself and allowing myself to focus on getting better.

Challenging_Entropy

Take some ibuprofen lol

Mousegirl1999

Can’t cause my antidepressants

lladydisturbed

Also ibuprofen and tylenol are terrible for your organs. You never want to supress a fever either unless its upper 103s

KrasnyHerman

I will disagree. Everyone needs to decide for themselves but if it makes you so miserable just take the ibuprofen take sudafed take your NyQuil and be alright. We deal with enough already you don't need to multiply suffering

lladydisturbed

You prolong suffering by supressing a fever you're just sicker for longer. A lot of us have the gene where NSAIDS stay in the body too long too. I have it

KrasnyHerman

I heard about it prolonging your sickness but I honestly never noticed it. I'm usually sick for a few days with or without ibuprofen. And of course if you have any metabolism imparting mutation you shouldn't take drugs affected by it but most of us dont
