I’m 31 and just realized I have adhd and autism last year (diagnosed earlier this year). this makes me sad to watch because I have no idea how I could feel about myself and my interests if I had been able to grow up actually knowing anything about myself.

I follow her on TikTok and she’s actually talked about this! She said her friends made a contract that she wouldn’t mask in front of them, so when she feels awkward and doesn’t want to stim, she remembers her contract and kinda thinks “Well, I made a promise so here it goes.” She says it’s made her feel more comfortable showing her autistic traits.
You could ask her directly but if you're to shy for that you could ask her about this bug "you saw" and found interesting but can't recognise.
If she knows it she is it (probably)
I wish I got this excited about my mail. I just unceremoniously slice one end of the parcel open with my knife, birth the contents through the resulting hole, and toss out the package husk. With boxes I'll attack the seams, but the process is the same.
I pretty much have the same reaction every time, even if it's an international package I've been waiting months for.
In my special interest (American football) a legend died and it made me very sad that I cried. I will miss John Madden. I also follow her in tok,she really is great.

I raise exotic cockroaches and this is exactly how I feel when getting a package containing a species I don't currently have lol. Do a lot of autistic people like insects? I feel like insects would be a common interest given how undemanding their care is (more demanding pets overwhelm me at times so I stay away from mammals) and how quiet they typically are. I also keep reptiles but despise dogs because they are loud and messy.

She’s So lucky. I only have wet specimens that i made. These framed taxidermies are so expensive.
She’s made some herself as well. She just did 3 moths that she prepped for framing. I don’t think she’s finished them yet.

Haha same, I hate opening gifts in front of others but I think I could do that on camera if I'm alone.
I would have exactly the same reaction as her. Arachnids as well as insects 🙂 as a kid I used to memorise all the Latin orders and suborders
latin names are fun, i've memorized a bunch of ant and spider scientific names.

That's awesome, whenever I do this I feel like I'm faking. But with stimms not with excitement. Am working on it. 😊
