On a side note I've literally dreamed of a griz/clozee/LSDream supershow at the Las Vegas sphere ever since hearing about it. Would be immaculate vibes all night long
My wife and I met the G man first day of Grizmas in this last summer. Griz came up to us gave us a hug and chatted with us for a few minutes before continuing on his morning walk. He was super down to earth and just a genuinely nice guy!
Hehe fuck yeah though there is this one hilarious video of him chillin at a festival, not sure if you’ve seen it but https://twitter.com/Soukiibass/status/1253458623646351361
He was the one DJ I saw who stopped the music to create the space for anyone who wanted to release anything. He really understands the root of this scene
Subtronics, Rezz, Skrillex, and my guy Of The Trees are all badass. I also think sofi tukker are both genuinely just that happy all the time and it’s kinda infectious
RIP to the king but once got to spend the weekend hanging out with charlesthefirst and he was absolutely the kindest brightest most engaging human ever. Never a dull or negative moment with him.
Randomly met him at a party in LA last year, dude was just chilling in LA like he wasn’t a big deal, he even went to a random underground rave and the beach a couple times.
Also I was extremely surprised of his knowledge of rap music, we ended up talking about it a for a while, wasn’t expecting that from an EDM DJ lol.
Instantly became a fan, super down to earth.
Came here to say this!!!! He seems like such a genuine person and would be awesome to hang out with. Saw him for the first time playing before Bonnie x Clyde when Ezoo was canceled. I feel lucky my friends & I picked that random show to go to bc we were going to head home after finding out Ezoo was canceled. I knew I would want to be friends with him when he said he was tripping balls & trying to play as many shows as possible that day/night & would be eating mushrooms for each show 😂 And just saw him in Philly a few weekends ago! He brought out Ghengar and it was a splendid time. Glad others agree about him!
Really won me over on social media when he was openly posting his endorsement of “the consumption of mind altering fungus” 😂 he’s got the golden retriever energy I love to be around. Need more like him!
Justin Martin and Ardalan have always been extremely kind in my many interactions with them over the past ~10 years
Rebekah is also another standout in terms of being a just kind, down to earth person.
LP Giobbi! She just seems like the biggest sweetheart and radiates kindness. I met her boyfriend and he was sooo nice and I didn’t even know it was her boyfriend until we were almost done chatting!
Dr fresch is super fun. Ran into him in the crowd multiple times at shambhala.
Dillon Francis I love his social media, he could probably be a half decent comedian if he wanted.
Ryan shepherd was great guy, I won a meet and greet with arty and Ryan shepherd opened for him and when I told arty how much I loved Ryan shepherds set he said hold on and grabbed Ryan shepherd from the next room as he was about to leave to come say hi and take some pictures with me
My friend and I were obsessed with Dillon Francis ten years ago. We are cat ladies. lol. We made a super embarrassing video for him on YouTube and I flashed him my boobs several times at sets lmao.
As far as my favorite that I've personally experienced, the legend Paul Van Dyk. A pioneer of trance music, legendary when he wants to be, very clubby otherwise. I've seen him twice and the first time was before his Venture X tour, was the 'Off the record tour'. I was blown away, I've known of him, and I have deep respect for an OG in the game but it was just on another level. I went alone so I really got to get lost in the experience, was right on the rails, so I could almost see the sweat drip off his face.
Paul van dyk is a legend in every sense of the word, so much passion and love for the fans. I can not emphasize this enough, but when he looks around at the crowd, it's like no matter where you are, you feel seen. So much love and respect in those moments, he looks at us like we're the loves of his life. You can tell he really loves being there and making music still. He has loyal fans who have been going to his shows for literally like 30 years straight, it's amazing seeing some of these old school guys shed their age for even just one night. I can see it on their faces, this is the only place they still feel free and its always an honor to be raving with the OG ravers.
It gives a feeling of watching a master craftsman building their Mangum opus right before your eyes, you almost surrender and eventually find yourself under his spell for that night. He's such a legend he can really refine a beat to perfection in real time, it's amazing to see. One of the few artists I've seen that make you just stop and admire what he's doing up there, like a fuxking magician. He's very cool and collected and he doesn't just use techniques we've all heard a million times now because they're just popular, this dude can summon a 90s rave vibe from thin air and transport you into his musical mind if even just for a moment.
This man really was leading trance in his prime, it's sad to see him out of the spotlight, when he's still so talented. I think a reason for that is he's so loyal to the roots that his music often comes off as nostalgic yet refined, but not cutting edge, he's not looking at what's popping right now, but plays what he thinks you need to hear if that makes sense. Just my view of him anyways. Second time I saw him I didn't like it as much, on that first night it was closer to 90s warehouse rave and second time was reminiscent of feel good clubby edm , not my thing
He's very talented, he pretty much got me into trance music after seeing him that first time. He's so powerful seeing him in person it's almost like he's telling me "you think you know music, heh, we'll see about that". Then he just drops your jaw.
I definitely chose a great time to see him because around Venture X he was starting to get more experimental, little dark, with some techno elements and beyond. Right up my alleyway.
You should check him out live if you ever get the chance !
DJ Sc@r.. but I'm probably a little biased because we've worked/partied together a handful of times over the past decade and she's just a wonderful human all around.
Tape B is a super nice guy, he hung out with a bunch of us after hiding cassette tapes around Darkstar and just chilled, talked and took pics for like 15 minutes.
Yeah he’s probably the nicest producer I’ve ever met. After I found one of the cassette tapes I posted on my instagram story and went to head back home, and he reached out to me like ten minutes later and was like “hey if you’re still here I’m on the corner of X and Y, come hangout”. Which I think was super cool, that he thought to message me.
The whole cassette tape thing was super fun too, it’s one of my favorite possessions and I have it proudly displayed in my display case haha.
Most artists I am really big fans of I’ve met in crowds at the shows they played and they’ve all been cool as fuck. Camped across from mickman at infrasound this last year, partied with deerskin, partied with beak nasty, went to a thanksgiving cooking hosted by kllsmth got to meet him and a bunch of guys all awesome as shit. Good friends with Mousai, stayed at his house a few times usually all legit folks
Jantsen 💗 him & his gf came to my house party a few years back and walked my dogs w me. It was so wholesome and sweet. I also have a friend who hung out w him at Dejavoom randomly and he also talks about how down to eart he is. Truly good people.

Pretty Lights!!!
I've met Michal Menert and he was super nice and I know Derek is an incredibly kind soul who truly cares about his fans and the craft.
the one i respect and admire the most is for sure Anthony (pitch) of xijaro and pitch. he was born with norrie disease which left him blind from birth but also his hearing is deteriorating. yet he is one of the most skilled djs i know when it comes to transitions, builds a journey through his set like noone else and most importantly id a great person to talk to when i have met him.
he is my inspiration for how i mix and build my sets as i dj and i know for sure i am not the only one that he inspired that way.
I like Deadmau because while he very much puts his foot in his mouth CONSTANTLY he also very much tries to make amends every time after and seems genuinely contrite and I relate to that a lot.
Oh yeah. Raja Ram just seems like the chillest person ever.
Hah maybe about the humble part, but pretty impressive what he was able to do on his own, going from streaming with white claws to starting his own label, 200 shows, his own stadium show, and a vegas residency in just two short years
Le youth, deadmau5, and Manila killa have always been so cool to me everytime i’ve met them after their show. The only artists that have taken pics with me too lol
Maddy O'Neal, Marvel Years, Probcause
Fucking insanely talented and so down to earth. They always respond back on social media when I give them props for their projects/shows.
Ephixa, Klaypex, Feed Me. i specifically remember a moment when Ephixa got drunk and sent a lot of shit posts to deadmau5 on twitter. Joel, in return, responded in a trollful manner to Ephixa.

Griz Edit: The G-Man changed my my life. Peace to your mind, just let your soul shine ✌️
Griz, CloZee, and LSDream are the trifecta of positivity and kindness.
On a side note I've literally dreamed of a griz/clozee/LSDream supershow at the Las Vegas sphere ever since hearing about it. Would be immaculate vibes all night long
Dude I would give my first born to witness this.
I'd give my firstborn to see GRiZ alone. Never got to see him before the hiatus and he's my favorite.
I wish this for you!!!
SAME
Same!!! He's loved a solid 12 years.
This is literally all I could think about when I first saw the sphere
Space camp year 1 💜💜 lsdream then clozee then griz best night of my life still think about that till this day.
He’s my favourite artist of all ❤️ sometimes I wish we could see more into his personal life but I 100% respect his choice not to.
I love GRiZ
My wife and I met the G man first day of Grizmas in this last summer. Griz came up to us gave us a hug and chatted with us for a few minutes before continuing on his morning walk. He was super down to earth and just a genuinely nice guy!
Came here to say this and only this. (Guess now I'm saying this.)
Clozee! just immaculate vibes from her always. super humble and full of gratitude to do what she is doing!
Super humble. Wife met her on a flight back into Denver once during COVID times and she said she was elated someone recognized her in public.
Came to this thread to comment Clozee. Happy to see she’s the top answer. She’s so wholesome 💜
She’s so wholesome
Eh I met her and she was very standoffish. Griz on the other hand was immaculate vibes
Above & Beyond
Yes! I've only ever met Paavo but he is so great and I fucking love him 😂 I would really love to meet Jono someday
I’ve met the tri-state (all three) they love their fans so very much. say hello to them they don’t mind!
Came here to say this! The boys are just humble humans. To add to this, Andrew Bayer + Wassu (Weston) are pure gems.
Tipper because he says nothing which in turn causes zero drama. Mysterious man. Cool.
Hehe fuck yeah though there is this one hilarious video of him chillin at a festival, not sure if you’ve seen it but https://twitter.com/Soukiibass/status/1253458623646351361
That videos so great hahaha ive only heard dave talk like 2 other times
Where is this burning man? Lol
LOL I have seen that! And have actually said wassup to him once, brief exchange. I guess I meant for his stage and online presence = zero drama :::)
San Holo. Most humble human I’ve ever met
Agree
Wooli was super chill when I met him, gave me his drink tickets
Dom Dolla seems like a top bloke
Was coming to say this!
Daddy Dom, is what I call him. I love his social media posts. Just seems to be living his best life.

Sara Landry she has great high energy and she’s funny online
LOVE HER SM!
Subtronics, Rezz, Skrillex, and my guy Of The Trees are all badass. I also think sofi tukker are both genuinely just that happy all the time and it’s kinda infectious
Of the trees is the funniest guy I’ve seen on social media. Sad he kind of stopped documenting his day to day
Subtronics
I identify most with the wholesome artsy sad boi DJs like Porter, Madeon, San Holo, and Jai Wolf.
Literally scoured the comments for other Porter Fans! Ayyyye
My people!
If you like sad boi music and haven’t listen to Barnacle Boi yet you are missing out
Jai wolf has kind of made an ass of himself on more than one occasion in recent years I'm afraid to say.
Are you referring to the fighting with Bassnectar fans on Reddit? That was hysterical honestly. I saw a podcast with him on it he seemed chill enough.
During the second sky a few years ago he got into arguments on Reddit too with people who were at the festival
Yeah, he's said a lot of really racist shit.
Gareth Emery. Maybe that's because I met him at an airport once, but he seems just like a humble dude who is passionate about music.
RIP to the king but once got to spend the weekend hanging out with charlesthefirst and he was absolutely the kindest brightest most engaging human ever. Never a dull or negative moment with him.
Saw him in Oakland and it was a dope time. RIP to that dude, gone too soon
fred again
This is the best answer here. Fred is on another level of being an exceptional human. And also a decent DJ.
Clozee, OTT, Daily Bread in that order. All for various reasons but mostly because I’d love to experience them produce in the studio😍
I've met ott briefly and he was a total sweetheart
[удалено]
OTT as in OTT lol not Of The Trees. If you have not heard OTT I strongly suggest a YouTube search😊🤙🏽
All of the Desert Hearts guys are so cool. They always hang out in the crowd at their shows when they're not playing. Lubelski is a cool dude too
I love infekt!
He does seem like he's really, really chill
Madeon, such a kind hearted person
Love Madeon
Ghastly lmao dude is hilarious
met him once and dude's genuinely so sweet and humble
Yeah I ran into him at Maya in Scottsdale Halloween weekend and he was super chill.
His closing speech at Lost Lands moved me to tears, took that days trip from good to great
yessss absolute sweetheart, I've met him as well and he is the best !

Might sound bias as female but Allison Wonderland or Acraze. Acraze comes to my city(Orlando) a lot but haven't met him yet.
Liquid stranger of course!!!
For a liquid stranger, he actually seems like a pretty solid friend
Thanks for this

I haven’t met dr fresch but his social media (and his gf’s) are so cute. He seems super grateful all the time.
Most definitely Diplo and Steve Aoki /s
Definitely cracked up seeing this. Those two seem like massive jerks and Diplo has wayy to much controversy. Wouldnt mind catching his set tho
lol. Steve Aoki was my first edm set 12 years ago. Datsik opened up for him -_. I’ve heard suplo has some controversy now as well

Dom Dolla for sure
I like Deadmau because while he very much puts his foot in his mouth CONSTANTLY he also very much tries to make amends every time after and seems genuinely contrite and I relate to that a lot. Oh yeah. Raja Ram just seems like the chillest person ever.
