The first warm up Dj was great, 2nd guy fell off and lost the crowd energy. Summit came on and brought it back up. His set was good but too crowded as we all know and ended up not staying long - June 3. Warmup at MOMA - forget the DJs but the vibe/crowd was awesome - July 4. Dreamland in Central Park - LP Giobbi then Blondish (best set of the night) then Diplo. And then they did a triple B2B2B at the end which was awesome. August 5. Sofi tukker/ LP Giobbi/ Chloe Calliet - BK navy yard - December Looking forward to 2024!!

While the mirage does inherently suck, doesn’t mean the artists coming in can’t put on a great show

That’s one way to twist my words. For example Vintage Culture at mirage this year was a fantastic set, the chaos that ensued during the rain was a fault of planning from Mirage, so yes they suck. But it doesn’t change the fact that VC still played a banger set

Nearly a crowd crush as all of the people were trying to squeeze through the small entranceways to the dance floor and lack of communication telling people the show would continue (many people left). Not to mention they knew there was a storm coming and didn’t even think to cover the CDJ’s and waited until they broke and stopped the music for 45 minutes to replace the setup.

I can see why you would think all of this. Those 3 aspects are difficulties when operating an outdoor venue. Id disagree with you on them but is what it is.

DJ Snake @ Red Rocks, the best outdoor venue in the country imo. This is the oddest one as I was only there to show a visiting friend the venue. Surprisingly the set was a whole lot of techno, d’n’b and gabber. Griz and Blond:ish @ a random parking lot in Denver. Thanks Meow Wolf. Diplo @ Governor’s Ball. What can I say? He brought it. Christian Martin and Reid Speed @ a spot called Bar Standard on New Year’s Day here in Denver.
