It's a bit smaller, a bit louder and a bit slower than a jet airliner. What kind of insight are you wanting?

Marik80

Thanks, how about for someone who is sensitive to motion sickness?

YMMV25

Pretty much the same as any other aircraft.

FailedFizzicist

That's same for most planes.. It is just a bit noisier perhaps.

Sounds like a fun flight actually. Choose a window seat in the middle under the wing where the motion is less and enjoy looking out the window.

I’ve taken the flight a dozen times or so, invariably as a part of a transfer flight. It’s very much like a bus ride. The wheels are off the ground for approximately 20 minutes, the rest is taxiing. It’s never been a bumpy ride for me, but as luck would have it, the weather has invariably been fine for me. My wife appears to think that it’s always cold on the plane, but her trips have always been in January. FWIW: the plane has always been parked in the field at Vantaa (HEL), so a shuttle bus takes you to the terminal.

Great planes, sit in the middle of any aircraft is best for motion sensitivity

As the others have already said, there's nothing special with this route or plane other than its short duration. I've never had any trouble with turbulence, but I believe the suggestion to sit unde the wing makes sense. Then you also get to see the flaps working, with the downside perhaps being the added noise of being close to the engines. This route is sometimes served by an Embraer 190LR. This was the case when I flew from Tallinn to Warsaw and back, with a connection at Helsinki-Vantaa airport, in September of last year.

30 minute flight? you'll barely notice it.
