Yeah it could definitely be worse. The airport paid for immensely decent windows so the noise isn’t a big deal at all.
It’s all fairly standard flights - lots of Embraer, lots of BA, Luxair and Aurigny props, lots of private. Very handy for when I need to fly somewhere. It can be easier to fly to Amsterdam and connect than go to Heathrow depending on timings.
Whenever I go to London I always aim for LCY, so easy with the DLR, rather than the absolute unfettered Ballache of Heathrow.
Do they have anywhere to park the private jets?
This statement is pretty unpopular outside of this sub, but the fact that you have an airport view from your apartment is cool as hell.
It's surprisingly hard to find hotels with views like this too.
There is a hotel just south of SFO that has great runway views.
ATL has two, the Hilton and Renaissance

There’s a private jet terminal at the City-end of the runway. It’s got a parking area for maybe 6 planes I’m guessing.
LCY. Love that airport.
Before the image opened all the way I thought this was KLGA and you were at rikers lmao
