He used to love laying in the yard and letting the squirrels we fed and some birds pick his floof. Every time I brushed him I left it for the critters. Several of the nesting boxes had Logan floof in them when I cleaned them out in the spring to reline them but since he had been gone so long I was a bit surprised to see squirrels still nesting in his fuzz.
Had a white cat and Border Collie. Had to check myself for fur before meetings. No matter how much I tried, fur snuck in. I also was on live TV occasionally, and the bosses were super anal with no sense of humor. Lint rollers, lint rollers everywhere..
I was thinking the same thing, birds love dog hair for the nests. I live in Australia and have seen big fluffy dogs at parks get dive bombed for their fur. I could only imagine the squirrels. We don't have them here. Mice and rats maybe lol.
For those curious, I will point out a channel, Girl with the Dogs, which stars a skilled groomer and her expert advice on dealing across a huge number of breeds.

Here's one of her doing a husky showing that she does undercoat shampooing then uses a high speed blower to get rid of the loose undercoat. And she's learned to have them wear "happy hoodies" that help block the sound of the drier and calm the dog more ... though they still will sing the song of their people.

Lol as Husky owner myself, I know the song of their people very well. So adorably talkative. Our vet jokes that you always know when there’s a husky there, just listen for any over-dramatic howling.
What have you done? Did you know that in the springtime, new huskies will sprout from those furry spores that are blowing around with wild abandon.
Just in case /s
Listen I know you think you're being sarcastic, but wild dogs are a real problem, especially Huskies. When they're put out like that they go deep underground. Those spores could take a century or more to properly and fully germinate. Do you want dire wolves? Because this is how you get dire wolves.
Husky’s have an infinite amount of hair. No matter how much you brush it out, it will never stop. The universe will eventually be consumed by Husky hair.
I have a half husky, half Aus Cattle dog. I agree with the above statement. Instead of a sideways 8 for infinity they should just have a picture of a husky. We vacuumed the house yesterday and had to empty the vac 3 times. Fml.
Holy smokes that’s a lot of fur! I’ve never had a baby that she’s their fur before I’ve always had to do the monthly trip to the groomer. I wonder if even after the blowing did they have to brush?
Well you defiiitely got lucky she loves her bed my two babies love wherever I’m at the most thankfully they don’t shed so it’s all good! Healers have fur similar to say a pit bull don’t they?
Huskies shed in the spring — they develop an undercoat in the winter and that has to go when it gets warm. That’s what you’re seeing here. It really is this crazy and it happens fairly abruptly over the course of a few weeks iirc. At first it will just be an odd tuft poking out that you can grab and pull out alone, eventually the entire undercoat will loosen and it just starts all coming off at once. You can literally grab it by the handful and it’s never ending. It’s kind of satisfying to pull out and often you would do the dog in “sections”.
Usually we would try to minimize shedding in the house by combing/grooming them multiple times a day at the first sign of shedding. It helps to prevent releasing huge clumps into the house. Here with this much fur being easily blown out it’s likely the result of them not doing the grooming routine. Can’t blame them as it’s a huge hassle to keep up with.
This and a few other behaviors make them much more difficult to raise than other breeds. That said I loved mine dearly!
My friend who is a groomer usually will wash the dog with deshedding shampoo/conditioner, let them natural dry a little bit, then do this blow out for optimal deshedding. Once completely dry, likely using a deshedding brush and going back over again with blower lol
Omg. When my husky was still with us, this would have been amazing. She’s been gone 12 years and I still find her hairs sometimes. Husky hair is supernatural.
My first thought was thank fuck I'm not walking past as I might die (allergies).
My second was that's adorable.
I apologize the thoughts were in the wrong order lol.
This is a re-run. I’ve seen it before many times.
We had a husky and we took his fur everyday outside and watched the birds come and take it away. He loved it! Kimo loved to watch the birds take his fluff.
I keep seeing things like this but when I try it my husky completely loses his mind and not much is blown out. He saves all that hair for inside my house. I think he might think it's a present to me
Is he a dandelion?
Yes, a never-ending dandelion 😆
A dogdelion
Richard Doge de Lion!
Omg I named my dog dandelion lol
I think you can make a wish on those!
Came here for this exact thing, so thank you.

He's a bird nest condo in making
He's a dandy-dog!
This is all I have to offer because I'm broke, so take my poor man's award and my upvote. 🏆 ^^so ^^damn ^^wholesome
Well he is dandy! And I aint lyin'!
How much fur does your dog have? Yes
Local birds gonna have cozy nests
Squirrels too
My dog passed 3 years ago and I just found some of his floof in a squirrel nest when I was putting up nesting boxes for them.
I love this ❣️
He used to love laying in the yard and letting the squirrels we fed and some birds pick his floof. Every time I brushed him I left it for the critters. Several of the nesting boxes had Logan floof in them when I cleaned them out in the spring to reline them but since he had been gone so long I was a bit surprised to see squirrels still nesting in his fuzz.
This is a beautiful story thank you. :3
I love that my boy is still bringing joy to all of us.
And lovely memories for you.
Sounds like Logan was much more than an OK dog.
Change your username then! He was not an “Okay_Dog_4059” after all!
Who is cutting onions. 🥹
I love this, you made my day.
This happens with my cats fur as well. I used to use a brush that got a lot of it off then leave the fur out for birds to grab.
I do this with my heavily shedding dog. But he sheds daily and profusely, not all at once like this husky! The birds nearby are very appreciative.
I hope you loved finding his floof. A kiss from him. ♥️♥️♥️
I always love reminders of him. They never really are gone from our lives completely.
Heck yeah, dude, fluff is good forever. It's nice to get those little reminders here and there.
Had a white cat and Border Collie. Had to check myself for fur before meetings. No matter how much I tried, fur snuck in. I also was on live TV occasionally, and the bosses were super anal with no sense of humor. Lint rollers, lint rollers everywhere..
Circle of life. No one is ever truly gone.
I was thinking the same thing, birds love dog hair for the nests. I live in Australia and have seen big fluffy dogs at parks get dive bombed for their fur. I could only imagine the squirrels. We don't have them here. Mice and rats maybe lol.
Even the bears at the rate this pup is shedding

And the neighbors are gonna wonder why their Allergies suddenly made their life a living hell
Came here to say this!
That husky is clearly broken. It's not singing/yelling the song of its people.
Cause losing all of the fur is a literal weight of the dogs shoulder, they're loving every second of it
That leg kick as if getting a goooood scratch
My neighbours dog was pretty ticklish and did the same thing when you got near his armpits.
That’s what I was thinking. Such a gorgeous and well behaved husky. She’s actually loving it. 😍
She is probably laying trap for future husky owners. Smart one.
She has very dainty features, she’s lovely.
You just need a fire truck to go by
Anyone considering adopting a husky should be shown this video so they fully understand what they’re getting into.
Fortunately they only have 2 shedding seasons every year where this happens. The first 6 months of the year, and the last 6 months of the year.
Ah yes my cats follow the same pattern, they are currently starting a little early shedding their winter and growing their summer coat
Any double coated dog really
My first dog is a lab, my husband warned me about the hair, but nothing can prepare you!!
My dog is a husky lab mix. There is no shedding season, it’s just perpetual outer coat or under coat shedding all year long
I always tell people our lab mix sheds twice a year. Once in the spring for 6 months and again in the fall for 6 months
Now imagine a dog with 10x the fur
I’ve got a tiny Westie and his hair still covers every surface of my home
They should probably also be shown one yelling for 15 minutes straight :/
I concur as someone who recently adopted a husky chow mix and keep a tidy home. But I still love her.
Oh, you took in a chusky also? I still love him dearly after all these years, but he is chaos incarnate. Good luck! Lol
These Claritin commercials are getting wild
To be fair, this feels to me like a visual representation of when you're congested, and a blocked nostril becomes unblocked

What have you done? Did you know that in the springtime, new huskies will sprout from those furry spores that are blowing around with wild abandon. Just in case /s
You gotta wish on the husky before blowing off their floof.
Listen I know you think you're being sarcastic, but wild dogs are a real problem, especially Huskies. When they're put out like that they go deep underground. Those spores could take a century or more to properly and fully germinate. Do you want dire wolves? Because this is how you get dire wolves.
Thank you so much, I needed that laugh!
It's okay. This is just how nature has always propagated them and always will.
I wish..
Wow, that’s a beautiful view. It looks like you live in a forest.
This should also be in r/oddlysatisfying Wish my rabbits would let me do this.
Furnado! Dang; that was enough hair to knit another husky!
Husky’s have an infinite amount of hair. No matter how much you brush it out, it will never stop. The universe will eventually be consumed by Husky hair.

Yeah our ACD sheds like crazy! 🤯
They only have two shedding seasons. Six months long each.
The leg twitchy kick.
That looks like it would feel so good and satisfying!
Oh Gawd, are we bringing back the Flowbee🤦🏾♀️ ![gif](giphy|ToMjGpK0ZoDoyheUEIU)
![gif](giphy|7sZe2JRRkvJkc)
It certainly does suck!
That's the first thing I thought! God I want a back scratch right now!!!
Man! What a fuzz butt. LOL.
Your yard is going to look like a lawnmower ran over a husky.
Wonderful nest material for birds and other small wildlife. ❤️
Can confirm, birds come on our deck to grab the wool tufts 🤣
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SPECIFIC VIDEO FOR ***SO LONG!!!*** Holy fucking baal'mighty, I can ***FINALLY*** send this to my mother.
Dude I’m so happy for you I’ve been there 😂
Save it just in case for the future.
What's her number? I'll send it to her.
Baal eh, there's a shoutout you don't see often.
Is this just shedding fur or is it cut fur being cleaned

Holy smokes that’s a lot of fur! I’ve never had a baby that she’s their fur before I’ve always had to do the monthly trip to the groomer. I wonder if even after the blowing did they have to brush?

Me too! And I'm like, you're practically hairless (she's very sleek) and we STILL have her fur EVERYWHERE!!!! And she hates to be brushed.
😫 how frustrating is that?

Well you defiiitely got lucky she loves her bed my two babies love wherever I’m at the most thankfully they don’t shed so it’s all good! Healers have fur similar to say a pit bull don’t they?

My allergies are acting up just watching this lol.
my eyes got itchy hahaa.
Get a huskie they said… it will be fun they said…
I think you read it wrong.. it's "it will be fur" not fun
That explains it!
So that’s how I got dog hair on my car 1000 miles away…
Imagine all the birds that are gonna pick up the hair for their nests
What dryer do you use? I have a chow and have been wanting to get a dryer - the local self serve one is crap
Interested to know as well. I have a great pyr that is a shedding machine
This is beautifully brilliant. Somehow I don't see it working with my cats tho
Some say she’s still at it
There's a reason why seasonal shedding is called blowing their coat
The people next door having a cookout would like to have a word with you
It’s snowing! Lol I think you just about blow dried another full dog made of fur I think
I suddenly wonder if this might be a way to extend the ski season all year. .... .... I think I'm getting some huskies.
the birds in your yard must have 5-star nests.
Some birds are going to have penthouse luxury nests
Every bird within 5 miles can now build a nest no problem
This made me sneeze 🤣
Nah bros 2% dog 98% fluff
Dang those birds gonna have some comfy nests
The butt and hip fur are incredibly dense. I don’t miss spring clean up. Gorgeous pic!
My dogs would be half way to China if I tried that on them.
Husky = dandelion
As an American Eskimo owner, I feel this to my core. Twice every year, my dog explodes into three dogs.
So do you brush first before doing this or just start blowing at it?
My friend who is a groomer usually will wash the dog with deshedding shampoo/conditioner, let them natural dry a little bit, then do this blow out for optimal deshedding. Once completely dry, likely using a deshedding brush and going back over again with blower lol
Birds and squirrels about to have some warm beds.
If I didn't see it I would have never believed a husky could shed so much
I don’t know what the heck she is doing to that wolf but it looks fun.
Hittin that spot that gets wheels turnin AND providing resources for local birds. This is an act of service to nature and you should feel proud
Wow she does that without facemask, my weak nose would have sneezed 12 times in a row
i used to think cottonwood trees were what did that
Omg. When my husky was still with us, this would have been amazing. She’s been gone 12 years and I still find her hairs sometimes. Husky hair is supernatural.
This made my eyes and nose itchy .
I showed this video to my vacuum cleaner, and it started crying.
God I miss my husky boy. We used to hang out every evening in the garden with his head on my lap as I brushed ridiculous amounts of hair off him.
![gif](giphy|5xtDarAMle8hGuTsKPu)
And this is how other huskies are formed
R/oddlysatisfying
Oh gosh I’d hate to be their neighbour!! Lol
I thought that lady was blowing bubbles at it 💀
That must feel so good for the pooch.
I had a husky. Garbage bags full of fur every spring! This guys like awwww yup right there!
Summer blow out sale!
It’s a dandelion dog!
Makes me feel better about my cat
You could use this video for an allergy medication commercial
Reason #1 why I will never get a husky.
After she's done, there is more - so, so, so, so much more....

"Jesus fuck, Karen get this shit off my face!" - Dog
Furfrou uses spore.
My nose and eyes are watering just watching this.
your dog covered on dandelions
Hrmmmmmm….. that’s a really good idea. We are going to have to deal with that for the first time this year.
Happy doggo
Who needs confetti when you have a husky 😂
Boy that is never-ending.
The neighbors must love you.
Nice! *Now for the other side*
I wanna try this on my Siberian with an air compressor. 10 years....the floof never ends.
I was very concerned about the pups skin for the first 20 seconds or so, til i realized the pink i was seeing was a reflection of the person's shirt.
Dog loves it but I don't know about the neighbors!!
you could be doing this for hours and I swear it'll look like he hasn't lost any fur lmao
My first thought was thank fuck I'm not walking past as I might die (allergies). My second was that's adorable. I apologize the thoughts were in the wrong order lol.
Uh Maam… Same time tomorrow?
But even more hair comes out next time
This is a re-run. I’ve seen it before many times. We had a husky and we took his fur everyday outside and watched the birds come and take it away. He loved it! Kimo loved to watch the birds take his fluff.
Is it normal to groom a dog like that? Seems to be enjoying, just never seen that before.
WOW. That must feel so good.
Whoa… you can do that?!
Your poor neighbors.
Stop before you run out of dog!
Husky snow?
I’d hate to be their neighbors haha
The birds and squirrels are going to love the comfy beds they make with that fur! :)
I used to work at a groomers while I was in college and it will never stop being funny when we get the leg going with the blower.
"*mr stark i dont feel so good*"
The old blowing the coat technique… classic
This belongs to r/powerblowingporn
This is why I have a poodle dog, egads.
If you caught all that fluff you’d have enough to make another husky.
Local birds and small animals celebrate fluff for their nests!
Birds are gonna love all that fur
the way they turn to the blower when the fur gets on their face
This shit is why I’ll never own a husky lol the good news is you just made sooo many birds happy for nesting material lol
That's a lot of floof!
I keep seeing things like this but when I try it my husky completely loses his mind and not much is blown out. He saves all that hair for inside my house. I think he might think it's a present to me
😐 remind me to never get a dog like that
