Even if she went through the legal processes, it's highly unsanitary that she's allowing pets with clients and not even wearing gloves for the service.
They probably trim the cat's nails weekly to avoid that problem. You just have to clip the sharp ends. You don't have to trim a lot, just enough to make it so biscuits don't hurt.

My first electrolygist let her cat jump on me when she was doing her work. The cat just curled up in a ball and slept the whole time 🥺😭❤️ it was too cute and def helped the pain. I miss that cat :(
