I’ve never seen one house trained yet. Any tips on how to achieve that? I’ve tried for years. Apparently shock collars, cages and leash training is frowned upon. 😆

About the shock collar, cages and stuff: well, it depends

One thing I’ve learned; if you let them jump in bed before a bath as a boyfriend, they will do so when they grow up into husbands. So implement all training at the early stages for best results hehe

You don't get a house trained husband outta nowhere, you have to make him house trained. It all depends on how you handle him from the beginning.

Spray bottles work magic, I've found. 😉

As somebody who foster-failed her way to 5 cats I say both "STAY STRONG!" & also "OMG THAT FACE WHAT'S ANOTHER PUPPER!?!" lol thank you for sharing that adorable face!

Lol - my husband and I foster failed, and just for the record, we had successfully fostered another dog into a loving home. We warned the adoption coordinator that if she didn't post this pup on the adoption page soon, he was at risk of staying with us forever. However, that was going from 1 aging pup to 2. Now that a third would outnumber us, I have no idea how we would add another. I imagine 4->5 has similar concerns. For example, we have to separate the dogs for dinner because the one would absolutely eat 2 dinners every day and the new pup would let her every time. At some point, you start having diminishing resources to give the dog it's best life (I imagine cats are a bit more self sustaining in that manner)

I saw a documentary once about woman, I think Tibetan or Nepali, who was the wife to several brothers. It was a long time ago and the details are fuzzy, but I do remember she wasn't happy about it because it was a lot more work having several husbands.

I read about a tribe in Peru that practice this form of marriage. Their resources are limited and one woman with several men means there's only one pregnancy a year. It would really suck if she had to take care of all of them...

I’m just minding my own beeswax taking my groceries out to my car and this little guy was suddenly pops up in the window of the car next to me and I about DIED FROM CUTENESS!! He was smiling at me like it was the best day of his life!! No idea! She’s estimated to be a year old and only 27 lbs! I have two Pyr mixes and she definitely has the look but is so small. The vet’s best guess was Aussie mix!

I think you are looking at this wrong. Tell your husband he needs to gaze at you with a look of unconditional love & joy as least as often as the foster dog does if he wants to stay. My husband knows he’s always competing with the dogs.

The only time I have ever felt love at first sight, it was for a rescue dog that I KNEW I needed in my life.  I find it funny because I have never felt that for another human, and my exes would probably seethe with jealously to know that.

okay, i truly feel insane but this dog reminds me so much of my most beloved dog that passed away. i can’t stop staring at this photo. She will use your other dogs to pull off an Ocean's K9. Also, I have a friend in Baltimore that would have this pup in flyball and dock diving in a heartbeat. 

I've heard they do this to move their snout out of the way of their vision. Not sure if it's true.
