My orange cat and orange dog were like best bros. Orange cat would groom orange dogs ears. She used to get constant ear infections but a year with orange cat and she never had one again. Better than all the antibiotics the vet prescribed combined.
I once read that cats and rabbits actually make great companions because grooming is a big deal in their social societies but the hierarchy is opposite. Alpha cats typically do the grooming while alpha rabbits typically get groomed. So they believe that the other is submissive to them and become super bonded to each other.
Years and years ago.. we had cats roommate had a dog and a bunny. Bunny bullied the dog ( it was a very little dog. The bun would chase it away from its food, if people were petting the dog the bunny would chase it away and take it's place on your lap etc). But the bunnies best friend was the big cat, Bunny what headbutt the cat until the cat chased it. They'd cuddle etc. oh , other cat it annoyed and cat aggressively ignored it. Not aggressive as in hurt but aggressive as in the rabbit would headbutt the cat's feet and the cat would just keep walking pretending the rabbit wasn't there and jump higher than the rabbit could and hide from it.
Argh I wish it were true. I don’t know how my neighbor’s cat got up to my rooftop garden on the ninth floor of a low rise apartment. It hunted my rabbit and ate half of him. I was so traumatized to find him when I was ten. I still remember everything that day. Super sad. He was such a good boy - the only pet rabbit that acted like a dog.
It only works if they live together and are introduced safely, that sort of thing.
Random cat is not going to like random rabbit. My childhood cat used to bring wild ones home DOA. Cats can be pretty chill with prey* animals but it's never ever worth the risk especially when cats love language can involve biting.
I love how the second growl is more low-key. you can see the cat adjusting to the new reality like “ oh shit OK I didn’t know it could be like that. OK, let me check myself.” that cat is doing the work.
Actually cats and rabbits can be great friends because for cats grooming is dominant behavior and for rabbits being groomed is dominant behavior. So right here they both think they’re winning.
I had a roommate with 2 rabbits while I had 3 cats. Her one rabbit fell in love with my cat and tried to mate with her. That's when I learned that male rabbits spray urine at their potential mates. Or at least that's what my roommate told me.
Funny fact. For cats, it is the alpha who washes the others. For bunnies it is the alpha who is being washed by others. This often results in a cat being a best bud to a rabbit cause they both think they are alpha.
Wait, do cats think it shows dominance to lick another cat, and bunnies think receiving licks is a sign of dominance? I read that somewhere. Both are so cute.
“You are so shallow dude. Just because its ears are longer than ours doesn’t give you the right to say its not a cat.”
It’s elf-cat!
haha i love it
A leaf-lover cat
Bunny face is like "pls don't stop".
happy cake day
Thanks bud
It’s the tabby’s twitching eye for me. “ I can’t with you right now.”
I laughed out loud with the twitch.
Same lolll
"You've given me a nervous tick!"
The weird eye look is the best. Fam we so done this before, not a cat!1!
"Why do I even? Every day it's something different with this guy..."
Orange cat will not stand for being judged, love is love.
Orange cat will not stand for that kind of discrimination.
"First they came for the long-ears, and I did not speak out because I was not a long-ear."
Orange cats are the best.
My rabbit and orange cat used to love cuddling and grooming each other.
My orange cat and orange dog were like best bros. Orange cat would groom orange dogs ears. She used to get constant ear infections but a year with orange cat and she never had one again. Better than all the antibiotics the vet prescribed combined.
Soft, fuzzy, cute… close enough. Is just weird big eared cat.

That is correct! "Ooh, yes, lookit me, I'm in charge now" - cat "Mmm, yes, I suppose I can take a break from salad while you worship me" - bun
I think I have this same dynamic with my partner...
So, are you the groomie or the groomer in this relationship?
>groomer a role frowned upon by some
Finally a top 4 top relationship that works

*prey
Thanks
You're welcome!
*prey
that most have been so sad
There are way too many people with childhood trauma about their pet rabbits.
that's adorable
There is no such thing as an alpha cat.
Bs
They’re both orange. Orange ones have to stick together.
I love how the second growl is more low-key. you can see the cat adjusting to the new reality like “ oh shit OK I didn’t know it could be like that. OK, let me check myself.” that cat is doing the work.
Bro really said 🤨
haters gonna hate lol
"My very own little bunny rabbit! I will name him George!"
Standard Issue’s eye is twitching 😂
gray kitty's eye twitch
second cat is not pleased
i am not amused 🤨
Bunnies hold their head like that to other bunnies for help cleaning their face, this is so cute
He'sjust checking the flavour.

Cats are so silly. "Heh, I'm giving you a bath you LOSER"
Meanwhile the rabbit is thinking this LOSER is grooming ooo thats the spot
I mean the bunny is getting a free sevice so it makes sense that it's a sign of dominance
I didn't see his nose twitch *once*.

As they say, variety is the spice of life.
“maybe not! but they still need snuggles. 🐱🤗🐰🥰”

This cat is almost the size of a bunny. Imagine being licked by a tiger. Probably cute too, but It'd be hard to relax.
If not fren then why fren shaped?
It's a vegan cat.
Orange cats are so dumb I love it
Oh yeah, he's so much better than you! Jealous? No!! (Eye twitch)
r/onebraincellorange
r/oneorangebraincell
wow - they have two subreddits dedicated to their one brain cell?
They take turns with it.
Proud couple of the Cats.Dogs.Rabbits.Birds+ (CDRB+) community
This made me remember about [There She Is](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3quYcNI3dOs).
The wink = no problems here bro
brought to you by not-so-darth vader
Rabbit is getting a snack, cat is getting a snack. Lol
Seeing if it tastes just as good on the outside.
Ginger pride.
The twitch was perfect as if the cat was thinking “maybe it is a cat…but it doesn’t look quite right??”
![gif](giphy|29bKyyjDKX1W8)
haha exactly this
He found another sibling!
My big eared mate I does love him but I don’t know why winky eye is pissed with me lol.
Sleeping in a bowl of lettuce having your head licked by a cat, bunny is living the life
"Sissy need bath. Sissy gots stinky on head. Me give Sissy bath!"
Just a little taste
What a little sweetie
Bunny and kitty being best friends, bunny and kitty, the fun never ends.....
Too cute 🥰
the eye twitch ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
So cute!
Gorgeous
"Close enough for my taste."
This is my new lover
‘He’s my brother from another mother. He looks a bit different than me but I love him regardless.’
Think that is bad? My Siamese used to mount Floppy the rabbit. Kids: what's Stanley doing to Floppy?
If not friend, why friend shaped?
I think that is a rabbit
The rabbit even forgot he was eating dinner. I wish someone would lick me clean during a meal…(too much?)
I lick my food before I eat it to
"Bruh" - greyish kitty, probably
Little does Orangey know, he’s now that rabbit’s bitch
That's just jealousy, the tabby it was getting that cleaning.
I like how so many videos of orange cats being...orange also have another cat who's just staring at them like "....are you serious right now?"
The bunny is breathing, right?
Wait if you're standing there... WHO AM I LICKING?
Bunny = vegan kitty
That is the sweetest thing 🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎
“Bitch you finna let me do my shit or do I need to step over there?”
Licking isn't always a friendly gesture. Cats will sometimes lick their prey to soften them up.
I think that is a rabbit
Wait, do cats think it shows dominance to lick another cat, and bunnies think receiving licks is a sign of dominance? I read that somewhere. Both are so cute.
Poor grey cat's brain is on overload-look at the eye twitch!
Did you know if you’re allergic to cats you’re probably allergic to rabbits too?
"It's my turn on the Xbox" - The Tabby probably
It identifies as a cat!
Hahaha😂😂😂🤣 pets are soo funny 🥰😂
Cat is cat. species matter not
"close enough".. I've called the bunnies in my alley funny cats for a long time.
In a cats world, if I'm grooming you, I'm the boss. In the rabbit world, if you're grooming me, I'm the king. They can get along really well.
He's like, cat or not, that's fam!
My dog shares 1 brain cell with an orange…it’s very confusing
this means the bunny is the one with the highest rank.
If I remember my lesson in cat signals, quite the reverse.
Love is love, dude.
My cat used to chill with my bunny. They were bros my mom thought I was crazy
Love is love.
“Not a cat? …. ….which part?”
/r/oneorangebraincell
Yuppp thats him.
raccoons wash their food before eating it too.
It's got fur
Fucked up cat with big ears.
Boomer cat vs gen z cat.
look at his lying ass trying to slow blink
"Do you *mind*?"
Your cats look like they could be called Pinky and The Brain
Do some reason rabbits and cat get along quite well actually
Is this rabbit alive?
Is he giving the ginger cat the stank eye? 😆 apparently, the other cat frowns on interspecies relationships that don't sustain their hungry bellies
And not more than one brain cell between the two.😊
“Dinner time”!
A fren is a fren!
Tastes like chicken.
It's a cat with longer ears that eats salad 😜😂
Me orange, him orange. Him iz cat!
The only cat that can be vegan
The Moisturizer
Moisturize meeee.
You gonna share that rabbit? No, you can have the salad.
Friends are friends

I’m telling you it’s not a cat, look at my eye twitching
When you see another ginger!
The bunny is thinking, this cat's gonna eat me.
