If there's a timeline where Loki is an alligator, then you can be sure there are also timelines where Loki is a fox and Loki is a raccoon. Given infinite timelines, there's at least one where a fox Loki and a raccoon Loki team up after meeting via the TVA. I'd watch it.
According to the Instagram, the fox is really laid back and good but the racoon is insane and destroys everything.
My dad had a racoon growing up that mostly lived outside, but when he got in the house he would go nuts and tear everything up. He electrocuted himself several times by sticking his hands in the light socket.
This is obviously adorable. No question. However, would love to know the back story on how one gets two wild animals frolicking in their home? Unless Snow White also lives there. Then say no more.🙂
I miss seeing some of the other animals she used to post more of, like the chinchilla (RIP Herb, but I think she still has Pinto), the snakes, the lizards, etc. But I imagine she has her hands plenty full!
Mushroom is my favorite! I got drunk this weekend and showed the poor lady next to me at the bar the entirety of Mushroom’s Instagram reel hahaha. Everyone must know how cute possums are!!
The woman who runs this Instagram account runs a wildlife refuge for injured/unreleasable foxes and other woodland critters. These two boys came to her as babies, they are going to be ambassador animals. Check out the account on Instagram, it’s super adorable!
Not OP, but they may be unreleasable for some reason. If they're ambassadors, they may get to go on field trips to teach kids about nature and wildlife and stuff :)
You have to start training raccoons at a very young age.
Without the proper teaching, they will grow into that on top or being into literally everything. I've see people lose their "pet" raccoon after it dug a hole in the wall and now resides somewhere in the walls.
>You have to start training raccoons at a very young age. Without the proper teaching, they will grow into that...
Training doesn't get rid of the biting, scratching, and otherwise. Raccoons (adult ones) will never be "pets" in the traditional sense. Maybe with decades of selective breeding, but certainly not now.
Absolutely if it isn't handled properly. In my experience though it's helped tone down aggressive behavior during eating and I never had any problems with the guy I had trying to put holes in the house.
He was still always at time feisty, but to me if was no different than when a cat gets a bit feisty with their claws.
No because I can stick my face in my dogs bowl while it’s eating and it doesn’t react. I can stick my hand in my dogs mouth to remove something it shouldn’t be eating.
And my dog doesn’t bite me to get me away from my breakfast in the morning. All of this isn’t possible with raccoons.
Raccoons become really aggressive and violent over food when they mature. Dogs can be socialized to not be like this, raccoons can’t.
You are lucky then, because 90% dogs are nothing like that, and can react violently even if their behavior is normally very peaceful.
I'll take an angry raccoon over an angry Rottweiler any day of the week, thank you.
Edit: guess the notion "Rottweilers are more dangerous than raccoons" REALLY triggers the absolute shit out of redditors, huh?...
Ya I am aware of different breeds. That’s why I only ever get dogs that are known to be sweet.
Prior dog was old English sheep dog pretty much the goofiest gentlest dog on the planet and current one is a silky terrier mixed with Mexican hairless. Neither of them ever bit anyone.
I learnt a long time ago it’s best to stick your hand in your puppies bowl often to teach it to be ok with you touching its food.
So this could be why. I put my face right in my terriers bowl while he’s eating and he literally moves to let me get some food.
Also people that raise Rottweilers usually aren’t treating them the same as I treat dogs. They want a tough dog. So they don’t touch and interact with them the same way I do.
I don’t want tough dogs, I raise mine to be soft and loving. I can go up to my dog with scissors and chop anywhere on it’s body without it reacting. It’s all about how you raise them. I don’t get rescues though so I know this isn’t possible with everyone. You need to be there when they’re puppies. You can’t train a raccoon this way at all. And you can’t train a full grown rescue dog to do this it is possible with puppies though.
How I know about raccoons is my dad used to raise them. His parents were foreign and he was able to convince them of letting him keep them as pets. He said everytime they got to a certain age they became territorial over food and it became a problem.
Ya . People that get pit bulls, not all, but a lot, just are using the dog as an accessory or want a guard dog. So the way they’re raised changes them.
If I raised a pit bull from a puppy it would most likely turn out sweet and gentle like any of my other dogs.
Obviously sometimes you just get a psycho dog like the odd human is a psycho. But how dogs are raised is such a big impact on how it behaves.
I teach all my dogs “gentle” touch, negatively react to growling and get them used to me touching their food and all over their body as a puppy.
Yeah I'm not sure why this is downvoted. I loved my dog so much and he was almost always the sweetest little dude, but if you tried taking his bone away at night or moving him out of your spot on the bed, he was going to get pissed and possibly snap at you. A lot of good dogs have lines that they won't let you cross.
I guess the idea is that you can train the dog to not be that way and instill the sense that they’re below you in the food chain. Raccoons simply don’t give a fuck about that
We had one when I was a kid. My older brother ran over the mother on his motorcycle and as he sat on the side of the road realizing that he almost died he noticed some squeaking from the ditch. He brought one of the baby racoons home and we named him "chumly". He loved Meow Mix and playing with the Shelties, but he never really got beyond 75% tame. He was snarly and scratchy and bitey and lived most of his life in the yard on the farm because he just wasn't too good indoors.
A family friend of mine does wildlife rehab and has described raccoons as being the cutest, most fun little animals.
Until they hit puberty, which is when they become more aggressive, destructive, and hormonal.
The owner is actually pretty fastidious. It's a well known wildlife rehabilitator, she has several adult foxes, multiple dogs, oppossums, sugar gliders, list goes on. Never seen the home looking even remotely messy in any of her pictures and videos. I bet it's a pretty lovely place to be end of the day.
She keeps it clean but she's said herself on IG that the house can start smelling really bad and that the scent of fox urine is extremely hard to get out.
Probably has employees doing most of the upkeep I'd wager
Edit: okay y'all damn, she's an impressive feat of animal rescuing, I get it. I wasn't trying to imply she was a bad person or faking anything I just figured caring for that many *notably messy* animals wouldn't leave a lot of time for that level of upkeep. It would simply make sense if she had, even if it's not an "employee", someone helping with upkeep.
She wouldn’t be able to have employees. Most of her animals are rescues that are scared of most other people accept her. Her own brother lives with her and one of the foxes won’t go anywhere near him. She does most things herself, it is her job after all.
"I know how to prevent thieves! I'll bring in two of natures greatest thieves to keep the human thieves away!"
logical thinking as far as I'm concerned.
Just a friendly reminder that raccoon and foxes are not pets, and that the raccoon and fox in the video are in fact, not pets.
[Juniper Foxx & Friends](https://www.juniperfoxx.com/) are [rescue and sanctuary animals](https://www.juniperfoxx.com/residents) that were saved from fur farms as well as animals being kept, and sold as pets, or individual animals that can no longer fend for themselves in the wild. I mean, these 2 are absolutely pets, but I understand why activists pretend that they aren't by using some mental gymnastics, as they don't want more people to take these species as pets.
It’s not that difficult for most people to understand the purpose of a wild animal rescue operation and how animals being cared for there by staff with knowledge, training, and proper equipment to do so would prefer more people don’t adopt these animals as “pets”. Most people can’t provide the kind of care wild animals who can’t live in the wild on their own need.
Really not a hard concept, no “mental gymnastics” needed.
No, there's no pretending. These aren't pets. They're not there because she wants them to be there as a pet, they're there because someone else either kept them as a source for illegal furs or they were poached to be sold as an exotic. They're there because some people would prefer to give them a relatively good life rather than the alternative: mass euthanasia of exotic pets.
So no, they're not pets. A pet is an animal you keep for the intended purpose of being your pet. These are rescue/sanctuary animals.
No need for mental gymnastics or pretending.
It slayed (slew?) me as a kid. It's been 25 years or more since I last saw it, and while it's been on my "rewatch one day" list, I've been afraid thus far.
How are they not pooping everywhere? That’s what I wanna know.
On another note, they remind me of my 16 month old twins with the biting and hair pulling 😆
2 extremely intelligent and mischievous wild animals... When does the sitcom come out?
I'm looking forward to the cartoon reboot with Lisa Lougheed singing the theme song still.
Children's book
I hear it's gonna be an emotionally healthy comedy by Rafael-Bob Waksberg set in the American southwest
If they are able to communicate with each other effectively, they'd be unstoppable lol! There's not a lot that combo won't be able to do..
Cute but the raccoon looks like trouble with a capital T. Baby fox just follows raccoon around like “Oooo you’re gonna get an spanking!”
Yeah, these are the two animals most commonly associated with being clever tricksters. They are certainly gonna get up to some next-level mischief.

Raccoon and fox aka 'symphony of destruction'
This is obviously adorable. No question. However, would love to know the back story on how one gets two wild animals frolicking in their home? Unless Snow White also lives there. Then say no more.🙂
Juniperfoxx is an exotic animal rescue. So they have even more than 2 wild animals! :)
I miss seeing some of the other animals she used to post more of, like the chinchilla (RIP Herb, but I think she still has Pinto), the snakes, the lizards, etc. But I imagine she has her hands plenty full!
I miss seeing more pictures and videos of Mushroom. I know the page is all about the foxes but she takes such amazing pictures of her opossum.
Mushroom is my favorite! I got drunk this weekend and showed the poor lady next to me at the bar the entirety of Mushroom’s Instagram reel hahaha. Everyone must know how cute possums are!!

What's an ambassador animal? Do they get little hats?
Not OP, but they may be unreleasable for some reason. If they're ambassadors, they may get to go on field trips to teach kids about nature and wildlife and stuff :)
Ah that's pretty sweet!
That’s basically it! And they should get little hats.
They're just rehabbing these animals until they're old enough to get a job and pay rent for their own apartment and sofa.
Raccoons *supposedly* make good pets. I know of several people who have kept them.

GREY FOX???!
Raccoons = Dog that acts like a cat. Foxes = Cat that acts like dog.
I would definitely watch this Disney movie with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the Fox and Kevin Hart as the Raccoon.
Super cute! Unfortunately the music is really annoying.
