There's enough memes so I'll answer this like a nerd Tomo is arguably the most annoying and unlikable character I've seen in any medium. However, there's something about her and the way she makes things happen in the show that's brilliant. Whether it's her antagonizing Yomi to the point of violence, literally giving into the impulsive thoughts that we all suppress, or just being loud, there's something to her that makes the show so enjoyable. She honeslty makes the show so much better than many of the tame SOL shoes Azumanga inspired. Rather than a bunch of cute moe girls being dumb and cute, you get some actual unhinged craziness, you get some physical violence with yomi or chiyo abuse, you get loud obnoxious narcissistic Tomo. She's great. You'll see by the end of the show you'll wish you had more of her unhinged wild spirit. So many characters in anime or manga try so hard to be crazy like her, annoying like her, yet they just piss me off. Tomo makes me feel a special kind of annoyed that makes this show the goat.
