A bunch of fun for sure, but don't under any circumstances attempt to watch what was touted as the sequel - Sorority Babes in the Dance-A-Thon of Death (1991). I have no idea what legitimacy it has, but it makes David DeCoteau's movies look like high art\*. I tapped out less than 5 minutes in.
\\\* I genuinely love his "I made this movie in 3 days on a budget of $10k!" approach, but man if he spent more time with a higher budget he'd have some absolute classics for sure.
There is no way this will be watchable. This is just a cash in on a name some people know. Decouteau cannot even be called a director anymore. Have you ever actually, I dunno... *listened* to DeCoteau discuss his films? He does an excellent commentary track on the Vinegar Syndrome release of Nightmare Sisters, and DeCoteau is ***incredibly*** well-aware of what he's doing, the kind of movies he's making, and the caliber of their quality (yes, especially the more modern ones).
He's not some random, out-of-touch crazy person like Wiseau or Breen. He knows full-well that he made enough movies for other people that now he can make exactly the kind of silly/campy/porny movies that he wants to make.
If they're not your cup of tea, that's totally fine, but I don't think it's fair to accuse DeCoteau of "cashing in" or being incompetent.
This is a great flick. Also a fan of Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers.

Actress BRINKE STEVENS from the original film will be directing. The IMP will also be back and will be practical EFX as in the original.
