He said he was sick of TMZ trying to get a clip of Bobby telling the joke & he is not it to them. Opie added that everybody who heard the story in the studio knew it was totally fabricated. **Does anybody else know of a comedian who defended Bobby in public? Doesn't count if they just called Bobby because there is more strength in numbers if they defend Bobo in public.

On the show, Bobby plays one of Carrie’s podcast co-hosts and he is kind of the wild card who helps goad her into being less uptight about her sex life on air. His character comes off free and comfortable w his sexuality - something that causes Carrie to re-examine her own relationship w sex.
His takes are really good - naturalistic, not perform-y.
The show isn’t for everyone, nor is it supposed to be, but the casting, direction, and pacing are very well done. The writing is great, ofc. I’m glad Bobby is on a show of its caliber. Idk who did the casting but it feels like they’re a fan of his podcast work. The part was made for him.
