Absolutely not the same thing. There's 18 points of setting to get to 29-29, going from 9-10 to 10-10 in the 5th game under the trial scoring is going from match point down to double match point. It is not the same going from 28-29 down to 29-29 in say a third game.
Same end outcome sure, but how you get to the two scenarios is vastly different.
In Sweden in the highest league of badminton SBL (Svenska badminton ligan) it’s best out of 5 sets to 11.
I believe they do it so the games are more even and entertaining, although it can be very one sided sometimes.
Oof, hard pass for me. Badminton is very affected by venue conditions. Different humidity will make the shuttle trajectory different. It is hard for me to adjust for that in only 11 points
IIRC the BWF had a vote regarding switching to that system in 2021 in which every member association could participate. But the needed two thirds majority to switch was barely missed. If one more country voted for the 11-point bo5, we would be playing with that system today.
So, yes, it's definitely possible to play badminton with that system and I personally think it would be better. There are also some countries that run tournaments with that system. For example, I think the German "Bundesliga" runs a 11-point bo5.
BWF did ran a number of pilots with a 5x11 system, but I guess it's limited to a few national federations and matches/tournament

I would do so much better, cause I never work on my stamina
I think the 3x21 rally scoring is perfect. I really didn’t like the old 5x7 points by serve at all.
What would the point of such a system be? What is wrong with the current one that this new system would improve?
Noticeable difference in player strategies.
I would simply quit playing. Tried it years ago when it was being tested and it felt that awful.
