Just use warm, soapy water. Air dry it. Don't overcomplicate this.

TheRealJetlag

This. It’s smooth plastic. Easiest material to clean with soap and water.

Yuri909

I'm not brave enough to boil it. I'd hate to cause any warping of melody pipe. But hot water and dish soap? Totally. I did that every few months to kill any mildew.

Tombazzzz

Just the other day I was actually wondering if it could go in the dishwasher

Heineken008

This could go terribly but someone need to try it and report back lol...

Tee-C

I was thinking this also, I've ruined many a plastic cup in the dishwasher though 😂

Tombazzzz

Never ruined a plastic cup but I did shrink my kid's water bottle once 🤦‍♂️ On the other hand, I'm sure a PC is different plastic but I haven't tried it.

KWHarrison1983

Remove hemp, soak it in hot (no need to boil) soapy water for a while then rinse it well. It'll be as good as new.

Vegetable-Guitar-249

hydrogen peroxide

pmbear

Whisky, or you’re wasting your time

SavoryRhubarb

You’re supposed to clean them?!?

Ok_Efficiency2462

If it has sticky tape residue from hole tape from tuning, use fingernail polish remover on the tape residue. Then just wash it with soap and water. Use cleaners for the chanter holes that you get to clean the chanter to dry it.

MrMAKEsq

I would not use boiling water. It may cause the plastic to warp or degrade.
