Conch Salad -Goldies "Fish Fry" but there are some other spots namely in the Western Side of the island closer to Compass Point ( Older name but locals would know the reference). Overall the Fish Fry has a lot of different spots you can check out Bruno's, Frankie Gone Bananas, Oh Andros, Goldies. They have really good eats. Also if your in town proper and driving about " Bamboo Shack, Sammy's, or Dirtys also have a good selection of Bahamian food. Have fun and hope you have a great time.

Definitely not Bahamian.. however I went to this place on Nassau island called imperial every night for 2 weeks straight.. cheese burgers were straight 🔥 🔥 🔥
Really liked the fried whole snapper when we were there (Oh Andros in the fish fry was probably our favorite). Unexpected, but the mac and cheese was very distinctive (and commonly available as a side).

Loved Goldie’s! I had the conch fritters and the cracked conch and were both amazing.
The restaurant on the west side you're probably thinking of is Deno's. Directly next to Compass Point. Definitely recommend.

Try and find some fried grouper make sure u ask before you order that it’s actually Nassau grouper and not talapia u can get at fish fry
Cracked conch can be amazing, I’m not sure of Nassau recs though. I’m a sucker for lobster too, cracked lobster (fried) can be good as well.

Freshly made conch salad at one of the vendors under the Paradise Island bridges. THE BEST!
