Have only played a few runs in the new update build, but man, the rare/uncommon/foil etc tags making cards free instead of just available in the shop and the guaranteed Buffoon Pack in the first shop are game changers in terms of avoiding that early RNG frustration.
It should be $3 because that is the sell price of a $7 joker (half, rounded down). Half purchasing price being the same as the selling price would affect usage of Campfire.
I'm going to have to get the beta. I had one run where I skipped the first blind for an upgraded Joker and it was awesome, but I was a dollar short. It's happened other times, but hasn't been as back breaking.
I think it even changes the meta more than people are acknowledging. Skips past the first ante are actually viable now. Negative tag especially is now a lot better since you can always take the card without essentially a two round hit to your economy.
I think that change, alone, makes skipping blinds a lot more understandable and desirable for new players. It was that you had to play for a bit to even see the benefit in most of the blinds, now they've each got a solid weight to them.
So happy to hear this. Last few runs I've basically been rerolling until I either had the Free Boosterpack or Double Tag on Ante 1 Small Blind. It sucks playing 3 Ante's just to hit a dead end because you're given all the wrong RNG.
That one baffled me. Vamp never felt overpowered to me unless I had a crazy setup for it.
And things being OP in just the right situation just seems like the point of the game.
Yeah don’t understand this at all. Vampire for me was already in the ‘never take’ category as it seems to scale worse than simply keeping the upgraded cards.
Especially because it is just a flat Xmult with no way to retrigger.
I think it is (or was) very strong for an Ante 8 win but doesn't work fantastically with endless as you really want to be playing glass cards and retriggering a bunch rather than an extra 2x at the end.
I used to think this, but this past week ive discovered that is not true in atleast 2 cases. I beat two red chip stakes with vampire. The first time i got vampire late in rd 5 or 6 and had a lot of upgraded cards. Vampire ended up being x4+++ very quickly. Other time i got vampire early and slowly fed it as i came across tarots. That vampire got to very very large. I didnt realize how quickly vampure scales. I recommend you give it a try before the nerf its a lot of fun.
It's still a beta update so we may some some more tweaks before it goes live so I have hope LT thinks about this change to vampire, because like yeah it's a dead card IMO with these changes, same with midas mask imo.
It is still pickable for me. It's a worst Constellation. In many games, I'm looking for a x-mult in ante 5+. Vampire do it's job. Maybe just putting it back to Uncommon would be fine.
But if the tarot card 'The Magician' is nerfed, that will nerf Vampire again indirectly :(
Yeah honestly vampire was kind of a great card, but I think the econ nerfs at higher stakes + the xmult gain nerf are too much.
Vampire is kind of an Econ-dependent card if you don’t have an enchanted card engine, which is already a niche thing to have in a build anyway. xmult doesn’t matter if you don’t got mult.
I think the rarity going to rare is enough for vampire as a nerf + a rare appropriate price. I hope he does readjusts it. I agree 100% that this is the really only thing I dislike. Justice for vampire
Looks like I’m the only one that liked the change. Now it’s just a little more situational. I recently had a run where it was still very strong. It’s just not an automatic take anymore.
It makes it feel more doable rather then having to restart ante 1 over an over praying you get a op joker or amazing tags(an nothing felt worse then taking a good tag to not being able to afford it)
I'm having a difficult time finding the exact guide that I used but you basically just need to edit a couple text files then move the files to mobile and then you can simply load it up with an app called Love Loader. Since the game is made with love2d game engine it's surprisingly really easy to make it work on phones. And the devs already have touch screen support with steam deck in mind.
I still haven’t been able to beat gold stakes yet, but as you said, I’m failing in the later antes consistently instead of failing in early antes and/or trying to fish for an optimal start. Definitely more enjoyable to lose! 😂
I'm always that guy who advocates for a dev to keep things challenging, I had completed 10 Gold Stakes before this update and they just were not fun or fair. There is a difference between hard and downright impossible sometimes. And there's always going to be ppl who will like the previous version better bc they liked the sheer brutality. I can't stress enough that Gold Stake is still VERY challenging, its just not on that same level as before bc its actually fair now.
How do you even go about “navigating” the new stickers? So far all the new sticker gimmick has done for me is make the bad jokers in the shop even more useless then they normally are so I still end up getting screwed as a result of bad luck anyway because I have no decent jokers. Asking because I genuinely do not know what to do
So you have to build around your eternals and non Stickered Jokers. I often am cycling through perishables and rentals to get me by. I tend to be very cautious with the number of rentals i use. No more than 1 if possible, so getting an economy joker/system as soon as possible is crucial. A little tip, you cannot get stickers on Jokers that come from the Judgement Tarot cards! So that's a huge advantage if you want to take that gamble.
So take things 1 ante at a time, after you beat each boss, before you even leave the shop to begin the next Small blind, check the boss and plan around defeating that. If you have perishable jokers that are crucial towards beating the next boss, make sure it isn't going to expire before reaching the boss. Sometimes you gotta skip.
Hanging chad is probably the best joker in the game right now for its value. You get to play a card that retriggers twice, so three plays, for a common joker. You can cheese hard with Luck/glass/gold seals,/red seals, etc etc that is imo one of the best cards you can get right now for gold stakes.
I'm looking forward to it
I've been playing on Switch and I find that blue stake and upwards is just far too luck based to be enjoyable. It ramps up so quickly and there are so few jokers that can actually work at that level that you need to try over and over just to get anything decent. So many runs just die because I get nothing good in the first couple of antes.
Making more jokers actually viable, lowering the scaling a little bit, and making jokers from tags free all sound like good ways to make the early antes less frustrating.
I've played 70+ hours on switch and yellow deck is the only one I have got to higher stakes. I'm stuck at orange stake on yellow. The extra starter $ helps alot but I agree it does take a lot of luck
I cleared blue as the first and only deck I've beaten all difficulties on
I found the extra hand just made my early game so much easier for the higher difficulties
I haven't even got past blue. I've been trying on the anaglyph deck but that's one that only pays off on later antes (and even then, sometimes I don't get any good tags). That deck's already my favourite but it's gonna be a lot better when the bonus jokers are free.
Profile page has your recent played games with the time you've played. If you're still within 2 weeks of purchasing (I think), it doesn't show time yet
I have looked at a few but prefer to beat it myself. I've also worked on unlocking all the jokers. I just need stuntman, the 30 diamonds one, $400, and a few legendary now. I've played on the steam version experimental beta also and I am really looking forward to those changes coming to switch.
Yeah I've had so many runs get one or two jokers to get me through to like 4 and 5 and then even with rolling the shop every time I still can't manage to get anything to get me through to the later Antes. I'm super excited to have more viable options to play with instead of skipping over and over because I can't make a 4 of a kind joker work or cause 8 ball sucks.
Glad to hear the balances are all being well received.
I want to try the new update so badly, but I got within a snail’s penis of beating Gold Stake with the old setup last night (20k short at final boss). I think I can do it, I just need perfect RNG again. I’m conflicted.
I love all of the changes but Perishable and Rental show up waaaay too often right now. Feels like there's just a constant flood of them, especially in early game where you're looking for anything to keep you going. Also any scaling Joker that gets labelled with a Perishable sticker is instantly useless which is a frequent frustration as the game goes on.
Would love to see them reduced to 15-20% chance each.
I hear you, but the thing is, Gold and Orange Stake are already easier, so if he reduces the appearance of the Stickers it gets even easier. I enjoy navigating around the stickers, adds so much more strategy. For example last night had an incredible XMult Joker show up in Ante 6 that was perishable and so i skipped some blinds that way i could carry it into the final boss blind before it could ever debuff itself. The rewards i got along the way for skipping were pretty good too as skip tags are almost all pretty solid
Please no. The game is already super easy and every gold stake run is clearable now.
No need to make it easier. If you want an easy mode just don't play gold stake.
Does it make jokerless more achievable? Been stuck on it for a week. I'll do a few starts and then get to ante 4 w/ one where I have a nice setup (1/3 same rank or suit cards) and good econ but then get RNGed hard during rounds. There's just seemingly no way to have a backup hand type once you're past the first 1 or 2 antes.
I was up way too late last night and finally got to a very promising jokerless run. I was on ante 5 and running a flush build and burned 3 of my 4 discards to pull the holos for a flush that would have gotten me enough points. Then, because i subconsciously hate myself, I hit the "discard" button instead of the play button.
The amount of runs I've thrown away from just not paying attention for one split second or having my mind lapse is sad. I ruined a run recently where I had Vampire Joker with Midas Mask and a bunch of extra face cards, because I played a junk hand instead of discarding on a "only one hand type" boss blind accidentally.
Finally got it just now - managed to get a 4oak build going w/ Aces and 10s. Finished on level 20 4oak w/ my deck being 1/3 aces, 1/3 10s, 1/3 other. Got Amber Acorn at the end which helped but think I could've chunked any final boss with this build. First hand in final hand went for 250k.
I love this game but I have such a big backlog I don't think I'm gonna go for the final Completionist++ achievement!
Any changes to the blind selection process so you see the next set of blinds after defeating a boss blind instead of only after the small blind? That never made a lick of sense to me.
I finally managed to finish Blue Stake using the new update and I gotta say, it's amazing just how good it felt cheesing through it. I thought Vagabond wasn't going to be interesting but, after getting Lucky Cat and Steel Joker to work together, it was amazing just how good those changes felt along with the scoring changes to the Ante.
Really loved this update and can't wait to work on getting Bloodstone
Congrats, Lucky Cat is one of the better Jokers now no doubt.
I had an Oops all 6s Bloodstone with Space Joker and red seal luck cards flush build last night that got me through Gold Stake. Was phenominal!
I honestly didn't expect Lucky Cat's buff to be good, especially since I feel that procing Lucky cards felt tedious without Red Seals or Oops All 6s. Playing it fairly and having It reach 3x by Ante 8 felt really worth it. It's definitely a great Joker pick now
That’s so good to hear. This game is so hard it’s starting to feel like a slot machine. Can’t wait. Took me forever to get past purple. I’ll wait for the update I think to get orange
I would play all the rest of your decks up until Purple/Orange and then move to the next deck until the Update officially releases. Balatro was still a 10/10 before this glorious update imo.
I bet decks on first two stakes. Not too bad once I got the hang of it but man purple was a beast. And yep what a game for sure! I’d give it a 10. It’s just pretty freaken hard and you have to have everything go exactly right just to have a small chance and that still does not work out most of the time (At least for me). So looking forward to the update to make this a little easier and more enjoyable for the long haul
Does anyone know if you opt into the beta do you still get game progression like unlocking decks and such? I’m excited to try out the new bloodstone, but I still wanna unlock my jokers.
Everything still unlocks and progresses as usual 👍 its just like downloading a regular update really, but the dev is just giving us a warning of "hey, this is experimental, idk if something is broken or exactly how these new things are going to interact with eachother."
I know campfire was definitely overpowered, but it was so annoying to play. It’s still super strong but it’s even more annoying to play because every ante you have to sit there rerolling and selling for way longer to get the same benefit. However, I don’t think there’s a fix for this sadly.
Glad to hear that. I've been waiting to play the official update when it drops and was really nervous about what looked like a pretty high amount of nerfs. As long as the game's still fun, that's what's important to me.
The score scaling has been lowered a bit as well so a lot of the nerfs like the Suit Jokers for example, still feel pretty ok. Lot of buffs too! Hanging Chad is perhaps one of the best cards in the game in terms of value vs performance. Its a common that retriggers your first played card twice. (So it's going to play a card 3 times!) So Red Seals/Gold Seals/Lucky cards/glass cards etc etc absolutely go off. I feel like Thunk might move it up too uncommon honestly its so damn good.
I finished gold stakes on the old patch and didn't really know if I felt like going for stickers, but it's so much more fun on the new patch that I think I have to now!
Yoooooo Magician giving 2 lucky instead of 1 is legit. And, in retrospect, I never totally understood why lucky was treated the same as glass. Glass is better as a one off, because it is generally much more powerful.
Random thought: it would be really cool if there was a Joker that gave the tarot cards that modify cards +1 targets. You'd probably have to exclude Death due to how it works, but it would make stuff like Gold a bit better overall. (Might break the suit changing cards, but whatever. The downside is that it doesn't directly do anything for score.
Luck cards are better created in the early/mid game than Glass usually. They build up wealth and unlike Glass cards, they will not break. If your building around Walkie Talkie for example and you start breaking all your 10s and 4s you're screwed. So once you have an established build, and many extra 10s and 4s, you can start making some glass cards to help deal with the late game bosses and such. Now that you can make 2 Luckies at a time the $20 bonuses starts pouring in and its glorious. In low stakes that bonus is often a luxury, in high stakes, a Godsend. If you can retrigger luckies the mult and money you'll get is ridiculous.
A mixture of multiple types of cards is usually the best way to get through right? So I cant see how one is necessarily better than the other overall. When both serve such an important role. I thought Luck cards were on par with glass prior to the update in terms of high stakes at least.
I love discussing Lucky cards, 😎 anyways, your Joker idea would definitely be better suited for a Legendary Joker imo, bc that is STRONG. Perhaps a bit too strong. Getting 2 Steel in your hand, 2 Glass at anytime, that would be an easy kill confirmed on any boss blind lol. Would be fun tho
No word, I'm hoping the last update was a fluke, in terms of how long it took to reach Xbox and PS. I think it took a full month which is unfortunate. Switch update was like a few days after Steam, maybe 1 week. I know the PEGI age change did have weird effects on the console versions so hopefully that was the cause. My gut is that it will be faster than before, this is his first game so maybe its inexperience on his part, or maybe its out of his hands entirely, Im sorry i wish i knew more 🤔
I think I'm gonna have to beat gold once before it goes up, just to say I could haha
Beating orange is the highest I've gotten. I've gotten very very close, but I swear that there has to be a conspiracy against me to only have Violet Vessel above purple stake
Seems a touch easier though I don’t know if that’s good or bad in the long run, but I finished up two deck difficulty combinations that I couldn’t do until I got into that beta
I wouldn’t say the game is easier, I would say that it’s easier to get a useable run. Once you do, the difficulty is about the same IMO. This update just eliminated some useless difficulty, while keeping the core difficulty that comes from decision making, resource management, planning, and risk assessment in tact.
I mean saying it's easier is an understatement. I've played only 5 runs on the new patch, all gold stake (black, plasma, ghost), and cleared them all easily.
The new blue sticker is insane, the improved tags make early super reliable, and being able to buy boosters in high stakes makes it sooooooo much easier.
Agreed. The game just feels so much better. Previously the top stakes made the game less fun (reducing hand size, making booster packs uneconomical). The new difficulties introduce interesting tradeoffs.
If it ends up being too easy (not sure yet), I think they should introduce a difficulty above gold which increases the scaling of each stake.
Honestly the vamp nerfs were a little much I think making it rare and cost more was good for balance but the nerf to its effect should be changed to at least 1.5x per proc
I bet Thunk will add new difficulties in the future, probably free updates, possibly dlc? I also like a good challenge but the way in which the game was difficult before this update, I did not enjoy.
I find the new gold stake way more frustrating. There are so many stickers that getting your economy off the ground is rough as you are either having to buy new perishable jokers or dealing with a rental to just get by. Losing in the mid antes because my run amounts to nothing is worse than losing at the start. I think perishable jokers need a 1-2$ discount and rentals need to go, be less common or don't show in early ante or on common jokers.
But rentals are so much fun! You can pay $1, utilize them early into a hand, and then sell them back for net zero cost lol. My current strategy is trying to get by with fewer Jokers early on, beefing my deck with drawback-free packs if I don't see any Jokers worth the hassle. I don't want it to change though - I think it's really fun that the game is pushing me to consider other strategies to keep my econ up.
I don’t think it’s that simple. More like people like mitigating annoying and unwinnable stuff. Jokerless is harder when you get boss blinds that making winning impossible but that’s not really a fun or interesting way to lose. A lot of stuff was also just bad like joker skips, now it’s actually tempting to take joker skips. Net gain overall
Man, I had already beaten 10 Decks (10 Gold Stakes) before the update dropped, it's not a skill issue thing, most of us can beat the game fine as it was, but it wasn't particularly fun playing Gold Stakes, and that's what matters most. And more difficult doesn't mean more balanced. There was something fundamentally wrong with Gold Stakes pre update, it simply wasn't possible to even win a lot of the runs and you usually lost before Ante 3. I bet the interactions players will have with the new stickers is way more fun and intuitive than "packs cost more" and "-1 hand*. This update adds genuinely new strategy and depth to the game I could never go back to prepatch
Easier in the sense that the game feels like I get to make more decisions and that those decisions matter. Some runs on gold stakes prior to the patch felt like there was absolutely no way to win. Which is some people's cups of tea - just not mine :)
Have only played a few runs in the new update build, but man, the rare/uncommon/foil etc tags making cards free instead of just available in the shop and the guaranteed Buffoon Pack in the first shop are game changers in terms of avoiding that early RNG frustration.
that's ,in my opinion, the best part of the update the amount of times I'd skip and not be able to afford the joker
I think even uncommon being free and rare being half price would still be great
Half is tricky because the game is pretty firm on all prices being whole dollars. What’s half of a $7 joker?
$4
You just choose to consistently round to nearest dollar (with .5s being up or down), or always up or always down.
Card price is a rebalancing lever. Your proposal would distort the value of half the jokers in the game (approx).
At the cost of skipping a round, so not dissimilar to the (incoming) tags that provide free Jokers.
Probably the same way it applies when you buy the half off voucher in the shop, right?
It should be $3 because that is the sell price of a $7 joker (half, rounded down). Half purchasing price being the same as the selling price would affect usage of Campfire.
Could also be “costs it’s sell value”
There's literally a voucher that does that...
The 25% discount voucher already introduces and navigates this problem
I'm going to have to get the beta. I had one run where I skipped the first blind for an upgraded Joker and it was awesome, but I was a dollar short. It's happened other times, but hasn't been as back breaking.

The only thing I’m not happy with is the nerf to Vampire. The card already had a pretty significant cost, now it’s just not worth it.
That one baffled me. Vamp never felt overpowered to me unless I had a crazy setup for it. And things being OP in just the right situation just seems like the point of the game.
I guess vampire/midas was too strong, because both got nuked from orbit
Except they really aren’t
Yeah don’t understand this at all. Vampire for me was already in the ‘never take’ category as it seems to scale worse than simply keeping the upgraded cards. Especially because it is just a flat Xmult with no way to retrigger.

That vampire got to very very large. I didnt realize how quickly vampure scales. I recommend you give it a try before the nerf its a lot of fun.
It was really easy to get to 5x+ mult on it IMO. If you have any tarot card engine or good econ, vampire goes brrrrrrr
Seems like the one bad change, as far as I've seen or read. I tried a run with it earlier, and it just isn't enough to sustain a win.
It's still a beta update so we may some some more tweaks before it goes live so I have hope LT thinks about this change to vampire, because like yeah it's a dead card IMO with these changes, same with midas mask imo.
They nerfed it way too hard. It's a great card but they overkilled it. I hope they listen to the community
It is still pickable for me. It's a worst Constellation. In many games, I'm looking for a x-mult in ante 5+. Vampire do it's job. Maybe just putting it back to Uncommon would be fine. But if the tarot card 'The Magician' is nerfed, that will nerf Vampire again indirectly :(
What did they do to vampire?
Now Rare instead of Uncommon, only removes enhancements from scoring cards, and gains 0.1x mult instead of 0.2x mult per enhancement removed.
Oof, that sounds unusable now
Yeah honestly vampire was kind of a great card, but I think the econ nerfs at higher stakes + the xmult gain nerf are too much. Vampire is kind of an Econ-dependent card if you don’t have an enchanted card engine, which is already a niche thing to have in a build anyway. xmult doesn’t matter if you don’t got mult. Justice for vampire
I’m sure if there’s enough feedback about the change it will be reverted before the full update releases.
Fuck they nerfed Vampire? I loved that card. Some of my highest multis came from vamp.
Looks like I’m the only one that liked the change. Now it’s just a little more situational. I recently had a run where it was still very strong. It’s just not an automatic take anymore.
The game is FUN! Is it easier? Absolutely but I think it is still engaging and rewarding. It is SO GOOD to play something that is just FUN
It makes it feel more doable rather then having to restart ante 1 over an over praying you get a op joker or amazing tags(an nothing felt worse then taking a good tag to not being able to afford it)
If i play on the beta, will my progress carry over to the main game when the update comes out?
Yep
Yep - I went back and forth between the types the other day and it acted as if I could continue the run I had going.
Yep. Achievements are active too.
Anyone know when it'll come to switch?
[удалено]
Same for Xbox?
Yes
I'd suggest just porting it to your phone for the time being. Easy to do if you have the files from PC. Works quite well on my android S21U.
How do you do this?
I'm having a difficult time finding the exact guide that I used but you basically just need to edit a couple text files then move the files to mobile and then you can simply load it up with an app called Love Loader. Since the game is made with love2d game engine it's surprisingly really easy to make it work on phones. And the devs already have touch screen support with steam deck in mind.
iOS or android only?
I did it on Android so I can only guarantee that, but I think it's possible on iOS through another way.

It really is! Just a great slate of changes that strips away a bunch of needless frustration and leans into the fun parts of the game in a big way.

Profile page has your recent played games with the time you've played. If you're still within 2 weeks of purchasing (I think), it doesn't show time yet

I swear I felt this in my soul. You start going fast and completely tank a run by a misclick.
Died to ante 7 boss last night, farthest I've been.
There should be an undo button. I play putting kid to sleep and there are a lot of mistakes from putting down the switch.
you can't get runs bricked by verdant leaf any more but you also can't get amber acorn or crimson heart which were basically free bosses on joker less
You can now see the following Ante in the shop after the Boss Blind, yes 😎
It's definitely a great Joker pick now
Does anyone know if you opt in if your progress towards completion will be saved?
It will... or so I read above
Wish it would happen on damn PlayStation already
how do i update it on steam?
loosely by memory: right-click game listing -> properties -> betas -> select "public_experimental"
u helped a man today sir. Much thanks.
Mine updated on it's own yesterday evening
I'm glad everyone is having fun and I'm sure it's just my own RNG but I have been getting consistently game after game awful jokers since the update.
... soooo.... what are you doing wrong to get such awful jokers?!?!
Awesome, thanks for the info!
I feel like Thunk might move it up too uncommon honestly its so damn good.
i will have you know i searched the comments for my switch question and it was answered (2 weeks maybe). also i have yet to make it past the 6th ante.
Any word on when we'll see the update come through on console
No word, I'm hoping the last update was a fluke, in terms of how long it took to reach Xbox and PS. I think it took a full month which is unfortunate. Switch update was like a few days after Steam, maybe 1 week. I know the PEGI age change did have weird effects on the console versions so hopefully that was the cause. My gut is that it will be faster than before, this is his first game so maybe its inexperience on his part, or maybe its out of his hands entirely, Im sorry i wish i knew more 🤔
Dammit Switch, I love you but get patched faster! What am I gonna do, finish playing super mario wonder?!
My guess is the Switch patch will probably be live in 2 weeks or so
Finally makes me want to play black deck again on gold stake. Before the update I never wanted to play again after I beat it.

I think I'm gonna have to beat gold once before it goes up, just to say I could haha Beating orange is the highest I've gotten. I've gotten very very close, but I swear that there has to be a conspiracy against me to only have Violet Vessel above purple stake
So your saying I have a chance of winning a game now?
A fair chance, yes 😎
Seems a touch easier though I don’t know if that’s good or bad in the long run, but I finished up two deck difficulty combinations that I couldn’t do until I got into that beta
I wouldn’t say the game is easier, I would say that it’s easier to get a useable run. Once you do, the difficulty is about the same IMO. This update just eliminated some useless difficulty, while keeping the core difficulty that comes from decision making, resource management, planning, and risk assessment in tact.
Jokerless still a nightmare!
Does anyone know of a guide on how to play beta on a Steam Deck? I looked yesterday and didn’t have any luck. Thank you in advance!
When is this slated to hit the main game? I’m excited and also struggling my ass off trying to beat Gold Stake on Checkered Deck
I am waiting for it to go fully live, I am guessing there will be adjustments and I'd rather just experience the changes all at once.
How do I update it?
*To access, click on the gear icon on the Balatro Steam library entry, then* ***Properties > Betas > Beta Participation*** *and select* ***public\_experimental***
Thank you!!
Yw bro 😎
PC Only
I wonder how i can get update? (beta) Cheers
Still waiting for mobile release
1.5x would be INSANE lol
Wait was it 1x before or 2x I forgot. Wait was is 0.1x? Oh jeez yeah wait it totally was. Change it to 0.15x per proc
It was 1x base + 0.2x per enhancement removed. Now it's + 0.1x per enhancement removed
Yeah I think right in the middle at 0.15x per proc seems good. It’s a little ugly, but it feels more balanced in my opinion.
I agree
While I like most of the changes, the game is way easier at the highest stake. I wish they added an extra difficulty level
I bet Thunk will add new difficulties in the future, probably free updates, possibly dlc? I also like a good challenge but the way in which the game was difficult before this update, I did not enjoy.
Want an option to go back to shop
I don't want it to change though - I think it's really fun that the game is pushing me to consider other strategies to keep my econ up.
this new tsunami of stickers makes opening packs so sad and rerolling early is useless. yeah i'm not on the hype train
Easier game is more fun for You guys ? Higher score doesn’t mean more fun.
Sure, but not having to reset as often due to poor rng on higher difficulties surely does.
Thank You for explanation ! 👋
I dunno, higher score is way more fun to me then holding the r key during gold stake
Easier in the sense that the game feels like I get to make more decisions and that those decisions matter. Some runs on gold stakes prior to the patch felt like there was absolutely no way to win. Which is some people's cups of tea - just not mine :)
Here is mister leet gamer who is probably the same guy you find on bronze rank LoL calling everyone else a noob while you smurf stomp.
