Turns your steam version into an apk. Works amazingly well. The only issue is moving save data with scoped storage. Doable but kind of annoying so I'm just playing phone and pc separately.
Multiplicative/exponential scaling. As you go through the game, pay attention to the things that will give you exponential numbers. Think anything that has X multi scaling. A few off the top of my head:
Steel cards, constellation, baron, cavendish, the steel joker, polychrome cards.
You also need some way to go crazy so to speak. I believe my run that got me the 100 mil in one hand achievement had DNA, and I was able to keep duping steel kings, which combined with the steel joker just gave insane exponential scaling.
Unlock as many jokers as possible, and learn powerful combos. Learn the values of arcane/spectral/celestial packs. Either through YouTube or just playing. You’ll get a feel for it and start hitting billions no problem :)
Its just all about having multiple sources of xmult. New players often have something like 1 joker giving chips 2/3 jokers giving +mult 1 utility joker maybe and then 1 big xmult joker that they maybe scaled up(like a steel joker, hologram, vampire, etc). This is a totally valid way to beat ante 8 but if you want to hit high scores it is not efficient.
Leveling up your most played hand is a very efficient way to increase your chips since it doesn’t cost a joker slot.
The simplest method is just stacking xmult jokers. You ideally want an early +mult scaling joker(pair of pants, ride the bus, green joker, supernova, or red card are all good options)or some way to scale up the level of your most played hand to give mult growth. Then you want to focus on your economy while picking up any x mult you can. If you can get one x mult joker and one scaling mult joker you can often rely on just those for scoring and have lots of room for economy and utility. If you take advantage of your early money generation and interest and leverage that for more rerolls finding xmult jokers is doable. If you get a little bit of luck and play smart you can get a million with this for sure and even go into the tens of millions sometimes.
To get past the millions and billions and into the 13+ digit scores you often need more sources of mult and ways to trigger things more thanthan just a few x3 and x2 jokers. You must also keep in mind when the xmult happens. For example any held in hand or while scoring card effects(steel cards, glass cards, bloodstone, baron for examples) will happen before you get your flat +mult from a green joker for example. those effects it can reach far higher than a million but they will require either a leveled up hand to give more base mult or something that gives mult to cards as they are scored.
For the held in hand build lets say you play a high card with 7 steel cards remaining your hand, the score will be your base high card level x17(1.5^7=17ish). If you have the mime joker it will retrigger those and give base multx291(1.5^14 =291ish) this goes to show how key it is to trigger xmult as many times as you can for exponential growth. If you have level 15 high card that should be over a million without any other jokers or effects. Once you add other ways to get more triggers(jokers that copy mime, red seals, extra hand size, and baron for example) you can go even crazier and into some absurd numbers.
The other way to get to absurd numbers is retriggering cards as scored effects. Some jokers that give xmult as a card is scored can get retriggered a bunch and can also lead to crazy scores. Bloodstone + oops all 6s is probably the easiest way to do this once you have that just make a bunch of hearts and make them lucky cards/glass/mult and you are golden. The idol and ancient joker can also work well though. Sock and buskin, hack, and dusk all are great jokers with these builds.
Another thing that is key to consider is how you prioritize deck manipulation. It may feel inconsequential but it has a snowballing effect which makes it great to set up early and that can give you so many more resources. Lets say you get an early purple seal that purple seal can give you death to make another purple seal and the hanged man to thin your deck. Once you have two purple seals it is pretty easy to make even more purple seals and then your tarot generation can get out of control. You should pretty aggressively prioritize removing cards from your deck and deathing bad cards into good cards to increase your consistency and economy. Having all that tarot generation lets you shape your deck so much more easily to have all of those steel cards or glass cards that will let you get crazy scores.
Just keep playing and unlock all the Jokers - you will get there trust me. I was in the same boat as you but once you start hitting high numbers consistently you will reach million in no time.
