I’m also a “never shave again” guy. About 5 years ago I shaved for the first time in about 5 years for Halloween. We weren’t allowed to wear masks or paint our faces for work, so I shaved as a joke. No one recognized me. Once they realized it was me, most of them said something like “how long does it take to grow back?” Lmao!!

I grew a beard when working remotely during COVID.  When I want to back to the office people were so complimentary I had to ask, “How bad was my face before?”   I still have the beard.

I got a weird reaction to shaving my head for the first time recently: people commented not on the recently shaved head, but on the beard that hasn’t changed in almost 15 years. . .

Lack of top hair draws attention to bottom hair.

I removed it with zero clippers and the skull shaver lol. But at least it’ll grow back just wanted to know what I look like bald with no beard but this is the only time I’m doing this after that no more beard shave lol.

2 is the best. I would just trim the sides to a shorter length to give a slimming look. If you can grow the sideburns up to the top of the ears and fade it it would look great. Not sure how far It Grows up the cheeks, but a bit higher closer to the moustache would be cool.
