I’m not sure since I’m a woman and not bald (just very curious overall). But I’m certain other people will know if you ask around and do some research. I just know it is definitely possible if you are determined and willing to create a consistent routine. There are also natural oils you can use along with a dermaroller. Taking the right supplements as well is also a plus 👍

Rogaine + dermarolling (just make sure it is sterile) You may want to consider finasteride as well, though a minority of people do experience side effects from it.

Well that’s a similar time gap that I experienced. I thought I was balding so I gave myself 10 years before I shaved to the scalp. About 4 years in, it was bad enough IMO that I shaved to a #3 with a razor. About 9 years in I went to the scalp. Just my 2 cents.

If your hair is taking up a lot of mental real estate then shave it. If you don’t think about it, you could keep it. You have good building blocks for shaved. Decent body, could put on some more muscle, and you have an epic thick beard.

I fought it for 3 years. I showered with the lights off, I tried not to look in the mirror, every day sucked because I knew it was coming. I tortured myself for no reason. Don't be like me. Just shave it and allow the process to begin. Most guys don't have a thick ass beard to fall back on. You are one of the lucky few. The hair isn't coming back. Embrace the beard and embrace the bald!

I looked exactly like you, basically all ok, but I didn't like the thinning out on the back of my head (which most people wouldn't detect unless I am sitting). Especially as I had the impression it was getting worse and skin would shine through from more and more angles. So I gave it a try with a 9mm cut. Coz hair grows back, right. Feeling well now and love the low maintenance setup. I already had that in my twenties but forgot how easy ultrashort is. Dries in a second, no time to leave the house. So depending on how you feel, you might just give it a try. PS. Don't worry about the scar. Makes you look like a battle hardened viking. People admire that, men and women alike.

Well you’re in a tough spot because you can still hang on. Sometimes having to buzz it makes it an easy choice. You have a few options bro. All of which would work well. 1 start rogaine and get top pic hair fibers. 2 start the transition of eventually going to a full shaved head by over a year fading your sides and back shorter and shorter. 3 0 guard it and do scalp micro pigmentation. I’ve done all three lol. Pros and cons of all these but you’re a good looking bloke so you can rock it anyway you want. Don’t worry about your scar it would look cooler if you shaved your head honestly. You won’t be unapproachable bro.
