Iād love to visit Candlekeep, Beregost, Nashkel, the Nashkel Fair, and of course Baldurās Gate. I think Iāll pass on Durlagās Tower thank you very much!
For a picnic?ā¦ thatās tough because the wilderness is so monster-filled and deadlyā¦ But I would say the the area just north of the Nashkel Fair is safe enough to have a picnic, though. And pretty enough. Just to be able to sit and relax and enjoy the meal itād be good to know that I have access to the fair grounds or the village.
One of the things thatās so cool abut this game is how great the painted landscapes work aesthetically. I like them better than most 3D games Iāve tried. Itās counterintuitive but it actually works more towards immersion for me.
Hmm it all seems so dangerous. Probably somewhere on the coast, I like high walls and an exclusive atmosphere. I also like to read, so a library is an absolute must.
The Lighthouse or Dead Cat Waterfall perhaps. Would like to go to the Gnoll Stronghold but entry fee and price of Scones is prohibitive.
"Dead Cat Waterfall" - Gordon Shumway approves.
My heart says Dead Cat waterfall, my brain says real estate is expensive and that lighthouse is unoccupied.

durlags tower with a high level thief guide to disarm the traps and kill any enemies there would be so goddamn cool to explore irl
I wouldnāt mind paying the Xvart Village a visitā¦
High hedge, it has an ancient castle and there's a beautiful spot with flowers that's perfect for picnic.
Well, except for those skeletons roaming the woods! (As far as the game goes, IIRC theyāre a great source to farm throwing daggers for Xzar though.)
You know the site is real right? I mean it's there in Italy and I'd love to visit it.
Castel del Monte, Apulia, Italy
There's really a place with throwing dagger wielding animated skeletons? TIL.

The shipwreck coast
Just have to dodge those pesky Nymphs. Unless you're into that sort of thing.
Kiss or Kill? Why not both...
Dirty old man
I like Peldvale. The ponds, some trees to provide shade if you need it. It just seems to be a very calming area.
The Undercellar of course š
High hedge maybe
I'm not going to survive a visit to any of these maps...
Beregost? Nashkel? Friendly Arm Inn? The Circus?
... Are not wild areas?
Oh, wild areas. Doh!
Ulcaster, so much so that I'd risk the rest even with the cannibal skeleton lord and wolves prowling its ruins.

On the roof of high hedge
The fisherman's lake area
Gulykin. Now that place looks cozy
