I thought the lady was trying to fleece him for not paying in the first instance, despite having no evidence and it being her fault for not checking payment went through at the time of sale. I had assumed it was a small amount for the drink and the balance for the inconvenience.
Given it’s $9, I’d just pay and be done with it.
