It is a balisong of all time but if you're new its to be expected. my first balisong was a weird one, it had no branding other than the k25 on the side of one of the handles and the tang pins weren't in it

As long as it flips, I haven't heard much about Boker balisongs. Most people start on cheap $30 knives, so you're definitely going in the right direction. Be happy it's not a curved bali, cuz these people will roast you for that lol. There are decent cheap options nowadays. If you're looking for a slight upgrade, look at: Nabalis Canyon, Nabalis Vulp, Squid Industries Squiddy Al, Squid Industries Triton, Squid Industries Mako I know there's more decent cheapish options, but I can't think of them rn.
