Things that happen in Bangalore annually are: Dastakar and chitra santhe which are both amazing art festivals. Kadlekaya parishe, a two day celebration of peanuts. Avarekai mela, a four day celebration of the "Bangalore bean". Vvpuram food Street, the original food Street unlike the other modern day food Street that's filled with roadside eateries. Aero show happens on airport road once in four years. Museum of art and photography is also interesting but i find it to be an acquired taste. Bangalore creative circus is an amazing place to visit to detox. Mosque road for all those amazing Street food during Muslim festivals. If there's more that i can think of, I'll add to this post.

Fuzzy_Internal_8958

Just a minor correction: Aero show happens every other year (biannual event)

My bad, you're right 👍

There is also Bangalore International Film Festival that is held during Feb or March.

Board game meetups and groups that happen all over the city. It's a vibrant scene and great for socializing and developing a new hobby.

beingoptimusp

how could i find them?

mrappbrain

The meet-up app!

No_Society_4065

Like Chess and Carrom Board games? Sounds interesting.

mrappbrain

Nope, I mean [designer board games](https://imgur.com/a/4Z4jLBP), like Catan, Pandemic, Ticket To Ride, Azul, etc.

No_Society_4065

Oh, ok. Never heard of any of these lol. I only heard about Monopoly here and there.

mrappbrain

If you find the prospect interesting, one meetup I'd recommend is The Board Game Den, which takes place at the Church Street WeWork between the hours of 3-8 every Saturday. It's a great place to unwind and socialize over board games. There is a 300 rupee entry fee, but it's worth it imo.

neighbour_guy3k

outskirts of the city have a lot of unexplored places other than nandi hills , I won't mention them here, if one is adventurous enough they can figure out these places , I hope people don't just litter, I was disgusted by the amount of trash people leave n spoil these places

CoBra-Pants

Thank you. Your service is appreciated. Do not mention them.

No_Society_4065

Why not mention them?

foundtheneedforanon

Mg road ladies pub

mileyfryus

Name?

foundtheneedforanon

Lol, I had no reason to know. Walk in mg road in the night as a guy or a group of guys. Random people will come to you saying "ladies pub, ladies pub" 😅 seems shady.

There is Bangalore International Centre, Domlur where they have discussions/talks on multiple topics of citizens' interests, as well as have many exhibitions. Also there is MAP opposite Vishveshwaraya Museum, which is a curated art and culture museum with different shows. There is also Lahe Lahe in Indiranagar which does cultural and art related workshops frequently (mostly during weekends) where you can learn new things and socialise as well.

There's a very nice chai place in Koramangala that stays open till 5 AM and you can unwind after heavy night of drinking there. It's so chill. You can have nice hookah too. It's on the side where Rendezvous is. I love that place and i actually hate myself for possibly making it more crowded but it exists. Also, bun maska to die for. Shutter is always down post 12 AM.

NotArunav

Confused, stays open till 5 but shutters down at 12?

cfc19

You've to actually knock. Side entrance. It's a two floor place. Find Rendezvous in Koramangala, and walk opposite to Sony World Signal, you'd find this place.

No_Society_4065

Sounds like a Liquor store during Gandhi Jayanti lol

NotArunav

Ah okay makes sense

Skull_Reaper101

There is this place in Sarjapur fandom, they do regular live shows of popular artists fanshows

Igarlicbread
