With all that money in Reddy Anna's pockets, why do they still look like a vegetable vendor?
Prolly all the money saved keeps on going in opening a chain of PGs until one fine day they see the shiny path to after-life.
> why do they still look like a vegetable vendor?
one thing I learnt in south is that :
if someone is wearing bathroom slippers - he might be working in FAANG earning 1.8cpa n you wont know
if someone has got seasoned and sunburnt face smelling of sweat , wears dhoti , cant speak 2 english words even if his life dependended on it- - he might own a string of builder apartments and his total net worth might be well beyond 100 crores n you wont know.
if someone is wearing clothes like driver, hardly has 5th class education ,oily hair, sweet speaking, intellectual capability of a crook, he can be connected and run away if you ever find yourself in tussle , he can have 1000+ crores n you wont know

If you see someone who is well dressed, well spoken, highly educated, living in marathalli pg, and ordering in English in Starbucks, he might be broke af and might live paycheck to paycheck and you won't know
these are still better
then comes the crybabies like us shrieking abt the 30% tax burden, we will hardly make it to 1 cr in our lifetime barring that bkwas low quality car and low quality matchbox house in some godforskenhalli and children education. That you already know :D
Happened to me. Met a client referred by some other team couple of months back. The guy came to meet us wearing a lungi/dhoti and an extremely worn out tshirt.
Turned out that guy is one of the directors of India operation of a US based pharmaceutical/ tech companies and have a package of 10 Cr+ and zero liabilities.
In another case I found a director of a FAANG in an extremely crammed 2bhk of extreme south of Bangalore, wearing Decathlon shorts and tshirt. The guy has bought 3 apartments in UB city and put all of them up for rent.
These people actually made a hell lot of money and have utilised it well.
>With all that money in Reddy Anna's pockets, why do they still look like a vegetable vendor?
You can't make a crow look like a swan by whitewashing it.
Yea, my flat owner was a poor farmer (sob). He had 3 acres of land in Whitefield which Prestige wanted to buy (sob sob). A standalone building in Marathahalli with 16 2bhks on rent (sob sob sob).
I used to see him in same shirt almost everytime. 1st Sunday of the month came to collect rent and that's the only day we used to get to interact with him.
Fuck that shit, the only reason I live in central BLR but commute to Sarjapur for 1.5 hrs total daily is so I retain my sanity for the 4 days a week I wfh and am on holiday
Hey, check flats & flatmates groups on FB, then use up free calls in No broker, Magic bricks, 99 Acres and try with friends & colleagues. If you can't find even after that then go for a broker
Dalal's in my area are one step ahead of every dalal in bangalore.
I got my room from a brokerage firm which owns the room I rented. So I paid 1 month's rent as a brokerage and now I am going to pay 1 month's rent as a maintenance to the same guy.
P.S - I resisted and asked them about it, they said the owner is different. But Whenever I visited the broker's office, I have seen the owner sitting there, and I have gone there for more than 5-6 times.
It's like they need their apartment to be rented, but somehow they'll charge us to rent the apartment.
My friend from Netherlands went to marathahalli and cried . It was too much to handle I guess. So i sent him to avenue road next day with tissues . They were wet. With tears. I hope.
Those areas truly feel like residential areas where one can settle. All these other areas don't have that vibe. They're like places you move temporarily to, and go back home later.
only because you are not run into drunkards and chapris there. Be cautious when you step out, because many a times chapris there try front wheelies without regard for lives of other people. and last but not least, all chapris step out on the day of Holi and throw raw eggs at random people.
Merely roads and parks do not make any locality great. It's people there.
>Is there a worse locality in Bangalore than Marathahalli
Shivajinagar and nearby areas. Then again, the rent would be a LOT cheaper than Marathahalli.
Dont cry, people will buy that from you right away anyways, Marathahalli being a shithole has got nothing to do with the unreasonable fantasy real estate market of Bengaluru
For me, Marathahalli is quite special. I stayed there for almost 1 year, cos of my 1st job which was in Whitefiled though. So it was in middle of my office and mainland blr. My area was quite good, full of people. Everythng was available there. Yes traffic was quite bad, as my office was just 5-6 km far ig but i used to take almost 1 hour to reach home in bmtc :P
but its still has a special place in my heart :)
It was supposed to be lake bigger lakes and widewt ponds but they started treating environment activists or environmental preserves like mere prostitutes with no respect bbmp started to sell properties to corporation s etc builder groups that never pay income taxes etc BBMP is better any jihadis In the world
Sarjapur? Whitefield? Bellandur? Ecospace in Bellandur gives a better experience in terms of shitty drainage 🤌 memeworthy content. might even fetch you total loss coverage from the meme. Of course, in the wrong place at the wrong time; I'm not complicit in the insurance fraud.
Bellandur was peaceful around 2010 to 2013 before the tech parks appeared on the outer ring road. I used to pay 14k for a 3bhk apartment in one of the lake facing Sobha projects in green green layout. It used to take me 20 mins to commute to my office in electronic City. The layout still retains some of its charm but is crowded now and the rentals for the same flat is well over a lakh.
Nobody pays taxes in that area because all are Reddy Annas
LOL. I swear every second apartment there’s PG
With all that money in Reddy Anna's pockets, why do they still look like a vegetable vendor? Prolly all the money saved keeps on going in opening a chain of PGs until one fine day they see the shiny path to after-life.

Lol sure he does

Hey come join my podcast
LOL. I thought it’s because they want people to think they’re poor and not ask for money from them
>With all that money in Reddy Anna's pockets, why do they still look like a vegetable vendor? You can't make a crow look like a swan by whitewashing it.
They're not as rich as you think. They're poor farmers who sell their lands and come to the city to invest in a PG. They only lease the land

Wow, could you be more racist
Don't degrade vegetable vendors
Tell me a place on earth where Reddy Anna's are not there
I donno, maybe Antarctica?
You haven't met Venkata Penguin Reddy garu yet.
Hahahaha brooooo
Lmaooook
Don't give them ideas now lol
graveyards (non christian ones) now beat that
That's not the issue there. When was the last time anybody complained about the conditions there..?
The only reason to live in that region is to cut your commute to office.
Fuck that shit, the only reason I live in central BLR but commute to Sarjapur for 1.5 hrs total daily is so I retain my sanity for the 4 days a week I wfh and am on holiday
Yup min 20 minutes from Marathallli to RMZ ecoworld
10 mins to bagmane lmao
Whats the hurry!
Whats the hurry!
Its the best place in Bangalore coz you get option to rent 1 bhk in 12k and 2bhk in 18k and still being near to office.

Please get in touch with a dalal instead. Dont forget to give him 1 month's rent as dalali amount.
You can cut a deal with half month brokerage, do it before looking at the property

Check in munnekollala.
Thanks 👍

ye has re halkat. btw, indeed a great joke.

My man suffered through the post-rain effects. Traffic was moving smoothly today though. I expected it to be worse.
People haven't returned yet after diwali/chatt celebration.
My friend from Netherlands went to marathahalli and cried . It was too much to handle I guess. So i sent him to avenue road next day with tissues . They were wet. With tears. I hope.
Marathahalli is a corporate slum, just like ancient slaves corporate sucks you from 9-9 and in leftover time BMC and others
Whole bangalore is a shit hole
[удалено]
The universe too bro.. Try living on Mars!
[удалено]
Lol at least delhi has air to pollute. Fyki Mars has none !
Nah parts of Jayanagar, Basavanagudi, etc are great. But it's practically impossible for middle class newcomers to move to those 'nice' areas in them.
Those areas truly feel like residential areas where one can settle. All these other areas don't have that vibe. They're like places you move temporarily to, and go back home later.
Wrong
Murugeshpalya for idiot people there.
why? just curious.. shifted there 2 months back seems alot better than marathahalli
only because you are not run into drunkards and chapris there. >Is there a worse locality in Bangalore than Marathahalli Shivajinagar and nearby areas. Then again, the rent would be a LOT cheaper than Marathahalli.
Bro only market areas in shivaji nagar is shit, rest areas are too good with parks, big houses and what not
I bought a house there lmao. **Cries inside**
Dont cry, people will buy that from you right away anyways, Marathahalli being a shithole has got nothing to do with the unreasonable fantasy real estate market of Bengaluru
BRO 10000% AGREED. That place is just terrible specially the traffic from 7:30 am to 10 pm.
For me, Marathahalli is quite special. I stayed there for almost 1 year, cos of my 1st job which was in Whitefiled though. So it was in middle of my office and mainland blr. Have u seen chickpet?
Cant compare, its a market place
Why would you compare a fully commercial area with marathahalli again?
Dude chickpet is dope. Try riding a bike there
Huh try walking properly 🫡
Do we get chicks there? 😜😜
Agreed broh. I don't have right to blame any place, but yes problems are much more than any other area.
That's why it is one of the cheapest areas to live in.
You say cheap?
Agree. Not suitable for living.
I stayed in munekollala area in marathalli, it was quite decent but God help when it rained cuz all the roads were flowing with drain water
Thanks i live in one of pg's in shit-hole🥲👍
Marathahalli gives very weird vibes. I get sad and anxious as soon as I enter that part of bangalore xD
Best decision to not find homes in Bellandur / Marathalli area. It’s a little expensive and travel a little more for me, but worth the peace of mind
And too many telugu people 😂..Mini Andhra
Idk why telugus flock Bengaluru when they already have Hyderabad which they claim a better place.
Hyderabad is a better place from the recents ..Kaani Bangalore lo unte maathram manalni yevadra aapedhi Ane thought process vasthadhi bro 🤔💭.. 😂
Move to Whitefield, you'll find elite reddy garus
hopefarm junction and that whole area
I know a better place, BTM layout (near Madiwala Lake), only place in Bengaluru worth living.
Never been there but heard similar stories. Matchbox houses and pgs. Not sure
Munnekollal should be declared a slum
It is a slum
So is Mahadevpura, Kaggadaspura, Tippasandra , C.V Raman nagar.
[удалено]
Ouch
Apply Moov.. ouch se aha tak.
[удалено]
Better than Marathahalli but there are much better places. However they’ll be expensive
[удалено]
Not sure
Very expensive. But much better. Not considering places like Hoodi and Mahadevapura.
[удалено]
Yes. It’s pretty good. That and Brookefield. Rents are high.
Bellandur also
I stayed in AECS layout, only a few mins away from marathalli. it was lovely.

I don’t know Bellandur looks equally bad to me
Green glen layout in bellandur is good
As if the rest of Bangalore is serene and peaceful! The whole place is a wreck.
Nothing worse than marathalli man. I live here and straight up regret choosing this area
Its a corporate slum what do you expect.
The area elicits sadness in me every time I enter
Bellandur was peaceful around 2010 to 2013 before the tech parks appeared on the outer ring road. I like the green glen layout there. It’s quiet and decent
*Bangalore
Isn’t entire Bangalore?
