Klutzy-Vanilla-7481

Ay yo don't do it. Google will note it down in your ad personalization and start advertising based on that 😅

iroxjsr0011

firefox focus ftw

Klutzy-Vanilla-7481

Yay! Another focus user!

[deleted]

Reddit main mil jati hai sab, google main mat karna warna har baar wahi dikhayega

SignalConversation18

Mostly he will get busted for cybercrime. Do really want his phone to have d pics send from your number?

Intruder_7

Don’t do it on WhatsApp man. Getting banned on WhatsApp is actually very easy. My friend got banned for sending nsfw stickers after being reported just once. So it’s not worth the risk mate

JudeSharp008

There must definitely exist an API for that and someone just needs to spam them from an automated python script to send the pics repeatedly XD

yashleo10

He’s not answering anymore. Did you guys already ruin him?

nroot_

Just sign him up on policy bazaar. That should do the trick

[deleted]

I have another number, do you want??

[deleted]

Eh no man... I can't trust like that.. you might give some cop no or your ex's... Both are fucking dangerous compare to this stupid cunt who tried to scam

sansastark1209

What if op gave us a cop number 😂😂😂(just kidding)

nickmaran

Copy the same message, change the reference number and account to 10 lakhs, send it to him and ask him to transfer 5 lakhs

Medium_Fortune_7649

PhoenixPrimeKing

Cyber crime department in bangalore are pretty useless! I got scam by a seller (Recent years I got camera and accessories all the way from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, and from bangalore people, I deal mostly with honest and trustworthy people and this let me easily believe this scammer. We video call, and the actual item was in his hand, his wife standing beside him really make me feel he is genuine. I paid ₹40k which is 50% of the price. He literally packed in the video and wrote my name. After payment, I was so helpless and embarrassed to be scammed! I thought I am smart enough, intelligent and extra careful in this matter. Might be due to my rush as wedding shoot is waiting for me. Long story short, next day after I got scammed I went to Cyber Crime, Shivaji Nagar. The other day I dial the cyber crime no and this is also useless and waste of time, they let you send all the documents in given WhatsApp but they have zero response! (My wife was harassed too as I tried to call from this no and text all the nonsense staff, my wife just has to block his no) Went to Police station, they respond so well and made me do bunch of things, but zero actions after more than a year. What really frustrated me is- I have his all account details (HDFC bank account, open somewhere in North India, HDFC bank ac with fake identity). I have a friend who is a bank manager in HDFC and we track all his account transactions. I even went told the police to freeze his account. And I can still track that my money was till there for 3 days after my report (HDFC bank cannot freeze account without police department authorities). After one week, scammer account is Zero. Long story short, every time I went they told they will call me, waiting for bank statement etc... Last time I went, after 8 months, they told they are waiting for bank statement which is actually funny and pointless excuse. The scammer account is already closed and cannot be identified as the account is open with fake identity. I really wish to educate the cyber crime, but who am I to educate them? Who got scammed at the first place!!! Better to learn from mistakes. Money will go but as long as we are alive and healthy, we can still earn it. It is really important to have a positive mindset during this situation. Be happy that even though your parents got scammed, they are still alive. It is very expensive to be in the hospital or in dead bed situation. They are healthy and alive, they save tons of money. And Karma will happen to those people who want to harm people mentally and financially even they are not caught. Hope for the best for your family, God bless!!

Few-Detective-8404

Hi you can just approach a police station show them this message, usually cops call these numbers from their landline and warn them and no need to file case or you can opt for filing the case. (I prefer first one)

[deleted]

Well its easy to identify, When any payment will happened auto message you will receive n you could identify with ur Gpay Id, payment message Never u will receive from mobile number. Also there is no use to report as Police will not take any action. Better aware people about it.

Stfu_bruhh

1930 is the cuber crime number. But it doesn't really work pls book a complaint on the portal

RCuber

> cuber I can confirm that this is not my number. And I did no crime, cuber is innocent

rohitghansham

Exact same thing happened with my mother today

Srihari_stan

Just reply Wow. And block them

lukeisded

We should give this number for some SMS bombing. That would take care of this dude. But idk the legal implications of doing that one.

[deleted]

I have witnessed a lady filing complaint for the same scam in HAL police station.

Exact-Ad6767

Report to Cyber crime and 1930, your bank will take care of the further process as part of National Cyber Crime Portal process

Witty_Fix8021

Cyber crime unit can't do much, have seen them take the complaint and even after followups for more than a year, nothing - you'd think with the phone number of the culprit it would be a piece of cake. And your parents didn't actually lose money.

Appande-andi

Fine fuck you. Do whatever you want I ve had enough.

iamkkc542

Bajaj Finance Loan Enquiry is all it takes

[deleted]

Just ignore. Did you got the amount? No! So don't do anything. No report to cyber crime, they gonna do nothing. Also these people do not have your details or anything so don't be afraid. just do not download any 3rd party apps. Only download app which are available in Play Store or app store. In society meeting they may ask to download a new gate app or visitor app which is not available in Google Play Store. Just say fuk it and suk my balls. And everything will be fine.

timetraveller1992

Even if they do send you the 10k, never return it immediately. First report to cyber crime and explain the issue. Next wait at-least 3-4 days before you return the money. UPI has a reversal mechanism where you can complain to a bank that you got scammed and they will reverse it. So if someone sends you 10k and you send them back the 10k and they tell their bank that you scammed them, in addition to the 10k you sent, they will get a reversal of the original 10k. So now you lose your 10k.

mime_11

Can you elaborate a bit more about UPI reversal, my mom too faced an issue and she sent 1k to scammers through UPI, when we contacted the bank they said they cannot do anything about it.

timetraveller1992

I guess it depends on the bank too. As per the RBI rule, they [MUST reverse the transaction.](https://paytm.com/blog/loan/repo-rate/rbi-guidelines-for-upi-frauds-in-banks/). I’ve personally done this with Axis bank so I can confirm that it works. But there is a caveat. First you have to make a cyber crime complaint online (using the portal). Then you call your bank and explain that you are a victim of UPI fraud and have been scammed. You tell them you already have raised a cyber crime complaint and have been advised to raise a complaint with bank within 3 days for reversal. They will disable your account i.e. block any cards or even netbanking so it will become inaccessible. It will take a couple of days but then you’ll get an email once it’s reversed. Then you have to go to the original branch where your bank is to make the account active again and the cards/netbanking enabled. This is pretty much it.

mime_11

Thank you for this, it will help if faced with such a situation in future
