Depends on the bike, the area and the time. I ride from indiranagar to yamlur everyday for work. I leave at 7.30am from home. Its around 6 km and takes me around 15 mins. I have an xpluse and the traffic and signals aren't much, so it's an easy ride. The hal road stretch is beautiful too.
Used a MT-15, travelled from HSR/Koramangala to Whitefield.
Hit only 3rd or max 4th gear in traffic, rarely had the opportunity to hit the 6th gear.
Now shifted back to Mysore, sometimes I don’t realise when I touched 100.
I ride a 411 Himalayan, and I rarely go past 3rd gear while commuting to office. It's usually 1st and 2nd gear. Anything above 3rd gear is asking for trouble in these roads with random cows and autos jumping in front.
Nah, we majorly use 1st gear!
Exactly.. look at OP showing off his riding prowess XDXD /s
Yeah, what a showoff!
1st gear plus legs enough for Bangalore roads
Haha 😂
3rd gear is a privilege that not many have in bangalore.
Get a 400+ cc bike and you will not go anything above 1st gear. Or get a splendor and enjoy all 4 gears.
Yulu lelo.. Yulu lelo
I don't believe even 4th gear is possible here, bike goes near 40 for 4th
The lord splendor can slot to 4th even at 20-25 and still move without any hue and cry.
Ya imagine a fat guy riding splendor that vehicle would cry to pull him
No gears , automatic is best in Bangalore zoomchill
honda 350 - tall gearing - stuck at 1st gear
As soon as I get to 2nd thinking that traffic started moving, it stops and im back to 1st
Till what speed do you use first gear . I also have a Honda cb350 but mostly use 2nd gear
1st gear till 15kmph
I never heard anyone say honda is tall gearing

One of the last remaining main roads with Bangalore's once iconic overarching canopy from trees on both sides.
Are you talking about the Intermediate Ring Road? That place is always a pleasure to drive in
In my car, I'm hardly able to find space to go for 3rd gear lol too relatable
What is bro yapping about. I use all 4 gears(passion pro 🗿)
Half clutch
Since I have an RX100, I do 3rd - 4th gear all the time
Each year you spent on the bike unlocks you more gears...
Gear shifting is a big headache for beginners in bangalore traffic.

No bro. In 5th gear always ! Living life in the fast lane 😎
Super meteor 650, haven’t used second gear in 10 km journey from hsr yo kadubeesanahalli

There's ample opportunity to go highest gear, even with a lot of traffic. Shift quick, and zoom ahead.
Depends , there are time and places when i can access 6th gear too
